Roasting Plant Coffee in City of London, Westminster

Friendly staff but tea was lukewarm and so weak I could taste the teabag more than the tea in it. For some reason served in a dishwasher stained glass rather than a cup or mug with a handle, requiring a cardboard sleeve if you were lucky enough to be served a hot drink, which is a waste of resources even if recycled. Noisy when busy.

Disappointing considering the price. Flat white lacked real flavour. The pain au raisin was stale and very heavy. If you are going to sell French patisserie you need to know what it should be like.

We have been coming to this coffee shop since it opened. The staff are friendly and helpful. The choices on the menu are just right and their Sourdough bread is the best we have tasted. As for their coffee….amazing…you have endless choices which comes through in a “conveyor type” system….. You can also choose a coffee specially made for you to take home. There are other branches which we haven’t visited yet but I am sure they are as good as this ine.

I stopped here to get a quick bite. I got coffee and sandwich, which were certainly overpriced. Coffee was nice but the sandwich must have been kept hours. One staff member, who "served" me was not very friendly. Was she angry with me? She just told me what to do instead of asking if I needed help. I thought I was a customer. Not going back.
