Everything was on point, deep fried butterfly prawns.. yum. Salt & pepper ribs.. spicy. Pork dumplings was lovely - was not a fan of the sauce it came with though but good all the same. The sweet & sour chicken was cooked to perfection with a lovely crispness to it, yum. The Singapore chiw mein was spicy and the egg fried rice wasn't too bad. We had some lushious fresh juices to wash it down with. Will definitely go back again.

After a long absence from fast food, I decided to treat my self to some lunch only to discover the management had changed hands 2 years ago - the current owner told me they had received lots of compliments that their food was much better than the previous owner and so I ordered a take away chicken chow mein and bbq spare ribs with gravy. Sadly the only ones who enjoyed that meal were my pets .. as the chow mein has no fresh pieces of chicken and ribs were not freshly cooked, tough, and not ... suspect just heated up and red sauce added - for over £17 daylight robbery !!

Take away the soup for the prawn noodle soup was all in the bag no soup for the noodles, rang the restaurant to replace and they refused to help terrible attitude, service. The rice with brisket, brisket was tough as old boots.

I always enjoyed Hochima, but after they've gone more vietnamese (under new management) it's even better. Love the house Pho. And starters (fried tofu and squid) were non-greasy and tasty. Wishing them luck!

I ordered a takeaway from Hochima last week after reading some good reviews. The honey roasted pork ribs were the toughest pork I have ever tasted, they were inedible. Even my father couldn’t eat them and he’s not a fussy eater. I gave instructions for the salt n pepper squid to have no chilli but this was ignored and they arrived covered with a lot of chilli. Finally I am aware that pork belly is fatty but there was literally 1% meat in the Taiwanese Lu Rou Fan dish (obviously not including the rice part) so all I could eat was the rice. Peking duck and sweet and sour average. Overall awful experience and extremely overpriced. 5 dishes cost me £55. I will never order from here again. There are much better chinese takeaways out there that are far cheaper.

Restaurant is always empty. Precovid very busy daily, quality was very good. Quality does not justify the cost now. Barbecue pork...tough and inedible. Crispy pork was all fat, any meat was tough. Noodles.....greasy. Sauce is watery and not tasty. So sad.

This is a typically Thai restaurant in that it is welcoming, casual and friendly. Service is reasonably quick and the staff are warm, helpful and smiling. ( unlike most Chinese restaurants!) The menu is extensive, including all the usual suspects and the value is good to avarage. The house wine, which is Thai is worth missing unless you like fruit juice with your meal. To be fair, the quality of the food was fine. Nothing special. However, the portions are very small. Especially the fish cake starters, so you may have to double your orders. This is the main downside of this otherwise decent restaurant.
