This is a typically Thai restaurant in that it is welcoming, casual and friendly. Service is reasonably quick and the staff are warm, helpful and smiling. ( unlike most Chinese restaurants!) The menu is extensive, including all the usual suspects and the value is good to avarage. The house wine, which is Thai is worth missing unless you like fruit juice with your meal. To be fair, the quality of the food was fine. Nothing special. However, the portions are very small. Especially the fish cake starters, so you may have to double your orders. This is the main downside of this otherwise decent restaurant.

Now called Luxe Thai, there was nothing Luxe about it. Ordered a takeaway from here and I was so disappointed. We ordered chicken wontons to start and they were inedible to the point where It didn't even taste like meat. All the main dishes tasted very similar and were quite watery. We also paid for a few items which we didn't receive but didn't realise until i got al the way back home. On the plus side, I rang to complain and they told me to bring it back and gave me a re-fund.

This restaurant has changed its name to lux Thai rather than Sema Thai but I can't find lux Thai on trip advisor. There are a huge selection of restaurants located on Lordship Lane in a East Dulwich but this is one of our favourites and it is consistently good. We always go at 6 pm when it opens to get the seat near the fish tank and the restaurant is not very busy at that time so I can't speak for the service later in the evening. We have always found the service to be excellent and the staff are pleasant and welcoming. There is a lot of choice on the menu and we have tried a lot of the different dishes, all have been really nice and tasty. I would highly recommend the seafood hot and sour soup and green and red curries with coconut rice. My only criticism is that the food is quite expensive but it's not that bad for East Dulwich and costs much less if you do t have any wine.

I have been to this restaurant numerous times as a visitor from outside London, and the food is aways fab and quickly made. Very good quality dishes and a good range too. I usually come for the Sunday lunch which is a rice/noodle dish for about £6.00 which is excellent value. The staff are always welcoming and it is a nice little restaurant - clean, tidy, modern - with fab food. They do takeaways although beware you pay restaurant prices for the takeaway - so you might as well eat in, in my opinion for the same price. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant if you love authentic, good quality Thai food.

Hale & hearty Thai food, good portions, real taste to the food - not bland, smiley service if perfunctory, nice unpretentious ambience, overall nice everyday eatery !

The price, service and environment all feel like home😌 I just walked by and saw some fried chicken rice. The key point is that it’s not even £12 for a double order! Unbelievable! It tastes good, with a Cantonese flavor. The barbecued pork is dripping, and the fried chicken is delicious. If you add a little marinade and the rice is hot enough, it will be close to perfect💯 But I think his secret sauce is the “chili sauce”!
