I simply got a coffee here so I can only speak for that. They give you options for oat milk, regular, coconut milk, and there may be another option. I did a chocolate mocha with coconut milk and it was most fragrant. The barista was fast but it still came with some latte art. If you choose to get the coffee/drinks in a to-go cup, you are allowed to walk around the museum with it. There are a lot of tables in a well-lit space by the windows. Many people were eating fish and chips.

If you are hungry and need to feed the kids, this will work but I suggest looking for something else. The hot sandwich is probably your best bet but you have to ask for it to be heated up. Expensive and tasteless which typically British I am finding. Fish and chip’s breading was soft, chewy and inedible but the fish was tender and flakey though. The peas were fresh and green but cold….that might be a British thing though. Caesar salad had more flavor but just a bit. One shiny spot is that Fries were good. They heated up the ham and cheese sandwich which made it tasty. One person in the shop was very helpful and the rest were just there to dish out food it seemed. Had to ask for silverware and napkins after the food came.

The museum is magnificent but the catering offer is very average. Little choice, sandwiches just acceptable. Fortunately the staff is smiling.

I wholly recommend that you bring your own food and drinks for the kids when you visit. I’ve been coming to the NMM for almost 3 years with my children and most weeks the staff have rotated. It’s quite disappointing since they are clearly untrained and it’s takes a lifetime to get coffee as they can’t cope with a big crowd.

This is a small cafe inside the Maritime museum on first floor. The cafe food and coffee is fresh. It is fully ♿ accessible. They also have a special kids menu. The staff is polite. Being inside the museum its a covered outdoor seating just adjacent to the 'Great Map' , which the kids love ! The prices are reasonable.

Went on Tuesday 29th at midday. We were told we couldn’t sit upstairs even though it was empty and the weather was great. What’s the point of outdoor seating upstairs if you’re being told you can only sit downstairs???
