T.G.I. FRiDAY'S London O2 in Greenwich

Avoid! Worst restaurant experience ever. Sat at a table by the door so was freezing even though the restaurant was half empty. Terrible service, took 20 minutes for someone to take our order and half way through our order starting bitching with another member of staff. Starters turned up cold, mains turned up while we were eating starters. No one came back to table after so had 1 drink the whole night and had to search for a staff member to pay the bill. Asked several times for cutlery and ended up using our fingers as food was getting colder. Staff were rude and miserable and clearly didn’t want to be there! Food was ridiculously overpriced. Nearly £170 for 4 people with 1 drink!

Great place to have a great dinner with the family , our server Mo was excellent and looked after us very well , loved the 2 for 1 cocktails , my brother was disappointed that there’s no draft beer but we loved the food and the service thank you Mo.

Before writing this review I logged my feedback through the website and have I had any response? Of course not, so will now share my feedback publicly so others don’t waste their money too. Booked for my sons 9th birthday lunch before we went on the 02 climb. We made it clear that this was booked for my sons birthday and reminded when we arrived. Not one member of staff wished him a happy birthday on our visit or made any effort. This summarised the service throughout. Staff that can’t be bothered and have zero interest. Then comes the food (after chasing several times to place our order) and of course you have to wait for your allocated server to be available. The wings were cold in the centre and had to be sent back. All the food was warm at best. £20 for a half rack of ribs, tiny pot of coleslaw, some warm chips and a soggy corn on the cob. By the time my wings were replaced my son and wife had finished their meals and my chips were cold. When the bill came of course there was no ask of how the meal was. He did to my surprise say he has deducted the wings… what he actually meant was he had taken the duplicate order of wings off the bill. Too bl**dy right you will. Zero gesture for the cold meal. Paid and left. Awful, avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Arrived on Sunday evening with 2 kids and my wife. Our booking was for 17:30 so we arrived at 17:20 to be prompt. The first alarm bell was the lack of a host on the door, I frequently take the family to TGIs (not this branch) and was surprised there wasn’t a host. I noticed a group of 4 kids and 3 adults also aimlessly looking around for the host but as confused as us. They departed and a guest advised us to go to the bar as that’s what she did to get a table. Fair enough maybe it’s different here. We went to the bar area to get a servers attention, I felt like the team were actively trying to avoid me but eventually I caught a chap and asked if it was self seating or was there a host, he said “wait here someone will be with you in a minute”, again fair enough, we were early for our booking though it was almost 17:30 at this point. I could see a large group sitting by the bar with 2 kids and 4 adults, a man in the group approached me an said their booking was for 17:00 and they had been told to wait while their table was being prepared, their table was in sight of where we were standing, it was partially cleared and still smothered in food. He and his group decided that they wouldn’t wait any longer and left. It was now 17:35, still no contact with a host save when I approached a table server and was told to wait. A team member approached the host station behind me so I decided to talk to her and perhaps get a table. She was using the computer (booking system) when I asked if someone would seat us she raised her hand with a finger extended while not making eye contact or acknowledgement in a “wait” gesture. When she did that I was incensed, I didn’t react to her but I called to my wife inside and told her we wouldn’t be dining there and left. I have never been as disappointed in a dining experience in my life. I think the TGI brand is generally great and I see it as a fantastic if not pricey treat. While we waited there were multiple groups that came, looked confused and left. Luckily we managed to cross the walkway and enjoy a Five Guys instead but that’s beyond the point.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will most definitely recommend Friday's to our friends. Thank you so much

Poor service. Waited nearly 15 mins to be seated, even with a booking. I have a sesame allergy and thought I was given their allergy information, it still wasn’t clear what I might safely order. For example they cook their sesame chicken on the same oil as that without sesame - no where does it say that on the menu or in the allergy list!! Then I was told by the manager that they don’t really cater for allergies!!!!!!! We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and we were aware that other diners were in the same situation. Overall not great at all.

had a lovely experience at this TGI Fridays store. Marc was our server and he was brilliant. Made sure that everything was okay with our meal. Ran our drinks promptly and made sure that we were both satisfied. Would definitely recommend coming to this store!!!

Great time here. Nazifa B was an awesome server. She deserves a raise for having to work in such a busy environment while still managing to provide great service. The 5 stars here are for her. The food was OK, but I didn’t expect it to be amazing due to the busy location. I understand they gotta pump it out as quick as possible. Overall, a great experience due to Nazifa B. Keep shining!!!

Mum and I stopped for dinner before a concert at the O2 and we had a lovely meal! Chicken wings and mozzarella dippers to start and both had fajitas as a main - the food was so good, especially the sizzling fajitas! Petero was a fab host and quick whenever we had a question or order, thank you 😁

Great spot for food and drinks! The JD sauce is incredible, as are the boneless chicken and ribs. The cocktails are made well, and worthwhile especially with the 2for1 offer.
