I attempted to dine here before a concert but despite a number of enquiries about our order our food never arrived. I had to leave and was assured I would have my bill refunded in full 3-5 working days later but now a month on I’m still trying to get my refund with no response from GBK. Terrible service.

Many better places to eat at the o2. Food ok. They prefer you to order using the app which defaults to a cheeky 10% tip for pretty surly service. Tables are sticky, decor flaking, toilets revolting. We ordered desert and were then told it wasn’t available. Asked for a refund, the guy shrugged and walked off the till behind the bar. Confused, I asked another server who said she thought we needed to go to the bar to get the refund. All a bit weird and left me with the distinct impression that I’d assume they’d refunded and they would pocket the cash. Overall uncomfortable and unfriendly experience. Avoid.

Honestly I had review done only cause the man that served me breathing down my neck very force to write one and lied now I’m here with the truth I was the only one in , he gave himself a tip I would off never wanted to tip him in the first place , food was cold and raw burger, hardly ate it, the sweet potatoes chips was the only good thing on that plate, the dessert have to admit it’s ice cream can’t get that wrong it was good, but will I be back nope never again I paid 51 pound for one person I was still hungry after and that says something

The restaurant was only half full, three waiters saw us waiting but decided to ignore us, there were no service at all but wanted to charge us for 12.5% service charge. Food were also terrible compared to other branches Fries were overcooked and tasteless Burger was dry and the bun was too hard Just go to somewhere else

Such a bad experience in the GBK O2. I know the brand well and I usually go to the others GBKs around London. First time in the GBK O2 and the service was horrible. They don't have ketchup in a burger restaurant. The place smells bad and doesn't have soap in the bathroom to wash hands.

Worst experience in a very long time in a restaurant. The restaurant had a terrible dump and rancid smell, however, that was the least of the problems. The service was incredibly bad, waitress and waiter hardly speak to you or make eye contact as you ask them questions about ingredients and placing the order. Had to ask 4 times for the drinks, and when they brought the food, we were told that they did not have any ketchup, not seasoning salt. We also had to ask them for cutlery and napkins twice, as they didn’t serve the table…! Terrible and will never come back.

Came here earlier with my friend and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Korean bbq chicken burger which had about a teaspoon of the kimchi coleslaw and the same with the sauce. The ‘burger’ was so dry I was having to gulp each time and what is up with the size? I also ordered fries at the same time as my burger and they showed up by the time I had finished eating my burger. I used to come to this chain years ago and they’ve definitely lost their reputation. Would not go again and wish I had got a refund. Absolute waste of my money. Do not go here if you’re looking for a good burger.

You do have to make allowance for the fact this is in O2 which is usually rammed and unpleasant, and we in particular were pushed for time before a show on a Saturday. Waiting staff at the door duly informed us what they'd run out of but when seated, I had to stand a bit away from our table to get enough reception to use the site from the QR code, which was irritating for my partner as I kept having to walk back and forth to her to hear eachother over the noise. Some items on the ordering system were shown as sold out but not the blue cheese slaw, which didn't arrive and I had to approach the desk to get a refund on after they confirmed that had sold out too, the staff saying they'd have to request the refund via their superior, although this was processed quite quickly. Despite being warned of a 30 min wait, our food came quick and was nice enough. More filling than it looks. I went for a pesto chicken option of some sort, which was good. We had ordered a hot honey butter dip but we're sure it was actually some other hot dip. The truffle mayo was superb, however. Toilets acceptable, except for lack of soap. There is an accessible toilet also. (Note: If going to a show at the arena, make the most of these because the arena toilets get super busy - long queues for the ladies' especially). Staff were polite throughout but in light of the issues, I think we'll try somewhere else next time, or when it's quieter.

We went this evening to GBK and ordered our meals via the app as advised by the waiter. Food took over 45 minutes to arrive and bits came out before others leaving us with cold burgers. We tried to complain to the manager but she was full of attitude and aggression. Multiple people in the venue complained at once about how slow the service was and staff didn’t seem at all bothered. I personally feel the manager who called herself “nabia” should be fired. She didn’t seem to care. She didn’t have an ounce of customer service experience. She seemed to be more angry with customers than she was putting things right. She walked away when we said we would take the matter up with head office as her attitude deserves termination in my books. If this was undercover boss she would be out of the venue in less time than it took for our food to arrive. No attempt was made by GBK to apologise. The quality of the food has gone down over time and especially I was disappointed in their speciality drinks the “fizzy lemon” had no fizz. It was literally a jazzed up lemonade. Nothing like it used to be. I can see GBK going bust at this rate if it continues to operate like this. I certainly won’t be coming again after my first interaction again at o2 of GBK. I would say avoid for now it’s not worth it. Only 2 stars as the milk shake was actually nice but the whole service was let down by very long waits to get food.

Quality burgers. No nonsense. It's fair enough asking us to pay up front, and even to go to the till to order - but it's a bit rich asking for a tip at that point! Would happily have given a tip afterwards as was perfect. Need a way of giving gratuities after dining.

Chronically under staffed. Ordered a burger fries and coke, along with 3 sides platter. Coke was warm, burger came first after long wait. The fries never turned up until I asked for them. Then in a panic I got fries that must of been reheated as they were hard as nails. Burger was fine but ruined by poor service from kitchen and waiting staff. The side were poor too, the wings seemed like they came from frozen preprepared and popped in a frier. Overall very poor. Used to go hear a lot before pandemic won't be visiting it again. It was the afternoon of a day with no events on at the O2 so no excuse.

Absolutely appalling. We arrived at 5:30pm (visiting a sold out show) and noticed a long list of out of stock items scribbled on a scrap piece of paper at the door. My partner and I were still happy to eat here as nothing we wanted was out of stock. When seated we were asked if we had seen the list and we said yes. We placed an order at the counter and five minutes later we were told that they had run out of chicken, what would we like instead. Due to food sensitivities we had to decline and ask for a refund, to which they agreed. We had to go back up to the counter for the refund and they weren't very keen to give us one even through the whole experience had been ruined by their poor planning (especially on such a busy night). Due to how late it now was, my partner and I struggled to find somewhere to eat as all the queues at the other restaurants were too long and we ended up with fast food instead of a nice sit down meal. We have been let down by Gourmet Burger Kitchen on several occasions now and its unacceptable.

This is a really cozy burger house that affords people the opportunity to have some really tasty burger in a quiet and serene environment. The waitstaff were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. It is also a crowd favourite as people kept on trooping in and out. Placing an order was pretty easy, scan the QR code, check your table number and pay and you are swiftly attended to. They don't get 5 starts because a member of staff ought to come out and affirm to clients that they have received their order and its being processed instead of having to call out to confirm.

We haven't eaten at GBK in a while and decided to return and enjoy our old favourites. Big mistake. First of all, "shrinkflation" hit these burgers hard. So hard that they're virtually unrecognisable compared to how they were served not too long ago. For example: 1) the buns are smaller and lighter and no longer have sesame seeds on them (not to mention of inferior quality) 2) the patties are dryer and less tasty 3) the chunky fries used to come with real truffle and proper cheese sauce, not this melted plastic American-style stuff they put on now 4) the burgers overall are smaller than before 5) their range has become a lot more boring, with just the very safe and old options they've been serving for years. They're afraid to experiment with bold and interesting combinations anymore Now, on a similar note, our burgers were all overcooked, at "well done" levels when we ordered "medium well". So much so that the meat crust tasted proper burnt and the bacon bits were black and rock hard. This is not the brand's fault but this branch's incompetence, unfortunately. On top of the disappointing food quality, our order was also messed up: first we were missing one burger and then we didn't receive 2 extra sauces we ordered. We also ordered refillable drinks and got served the wrong flavours. I would normally bring these issues up with a shift manager or supervisor but at that point we were too hungry and tired to wait for the burgers to be redone, or to argue further about the missed orders. It's a shame, really. We were really looking forward to this experience which was, unfortunately, thoroughly ruined.

Absolutely dreadful from the moment we walked in. Should have walked out when we stood waiting like lemons as the waitress looked directly at us twice then looked away. No 'Someone will be with you shortly' or anything. The guy behind the counter then came to us and showed us to a table. No staff member seems to smile there. We ordered by app- pretty easy. Drinks came quick. But the food...we kept seeing burgers on the counter but then not ours. I ordered at 3.40 and by 4 thought okay, will give it a bit longer. But then other people were being served before us who'd not long come in. Eventually at 4.15 I asked the waitress how much longer it would be (we literally ordered 2 burgers!) And low and behold they were sat there on the counter which they would have been for some time more if we hadn't prompted her. The burgers are tiny! Absolute rip off for what you get! I spent nearly £40 on pathetic sized burgers which come just as they are on a plate - no extras at all. What annoyed me too is as I'd ordered on the app you have to add the tip prior to even eating and I did ...which they totally DID NOT deserve. Service was slack (there was no speed at all) and unfriendly. Dreadful. Will never eat in a GBK again quite honestly!

I ordered the chicken satay salad, 15mins later they came and told me they dont have satay sauce, so I asked to bring me the salad with just chargrilled chicken without the sauce. Then 5 mins later they came and said they dont have green salad either. So I asked for just chargrilled chicken withe homeslaw. After waiting for 45 mins they brought the order, the chicken was burned, my husband’s beef patty was supposed to be medium rare but it was also burned and dry, and they did not have the sauce we ordered. So after spending money and waiting for 45mins we had to go somewhere else to have lunch. Will not come back ever

Visited before an OMD concert on Sunday 24th March. They sat us down, gave menus & told us it would be better to order from the till rather than use the QR codes on the tables. We spent a few minutes deciding what to have & I went up to order to be told most of what we had decided wasn’t available. This happens - but why not tell us that as we sat down? Re-planned and ordered again. Food arrived in ok time but mine and my husband’s burgers were cold. Not just cooling but cold. Husband couldn’t be bothered to fuss as we were short on time but I took mine back to the pass. They re made it but my family had finished theirs so I had to eat it fast in order to get to the gig. A basically poor experience from a restaurant that was not exactly pushed given the few of us eating there. Would no recommend.

Order by app is pointless because you still need to order at he counter for customization. GBK is confused about whether it is a restaurant or fast food like nandos. It is currently neither. It has none of the convenience of fast food or the service of a restaurant. We waited ages for the food and even the drinks took ages. When the food did come the taxi driver burger was missing it's onion ring. Apparently they don't have any. So why are they selling them? The medium burgers were on the very well done side of well done. The sweet potatoes fries were basically burnt. The table next to us had all sorts of issues and ended up leaving and demanding money back. It's no wonder GBK is being smashed out of the park by other chains. Somewhere along the line they have lost their way. It wasn't even a busy time.

Used to be a big fan of GBK back in the day but truth is it’s been on a downward spiral for a while now and it shows…atmosphere dead…service staff doesn’t seem to be motivated…food took a long time …chicken tenders subpar…chewy..3 tenders as a portion…asked for the burger medium well it was cooked dry….sadly won’t be going back…what was once a reference for burgers no longer is….

We booked in advance to make sure we had a table before our concert we were attending. When one of us arrived we said we had a booking and they gave us a weird look and said they don’t take bookings when we clearly have a booking email receipt. Staff went in to check if there was a table and luckily there was so we got a table. We order via the app so it’s very easy.

First time at GBK, I was drawn in by the sound of the loaded burger,at 12.50 excluding sides,its a bit more expensive,but I must say the taste and quality is amazing! There was a few downsides,the app didn't recognise my bank card,so I had to order at the counter,as the server was busy she informed me she would bring the drinks to the table,ten minutes after ordering and when our food arrived,we queried the missing drinks and were informed that the system had messed up and they hadn't been ordered,slightly annoying,but soon rectified. When asking about sauces ,we were pointed to the other end of the restaurant and were informed they are over there. Only one bottle of mayonnaise was left and this was almost empty! Overall food was great,service and attention to detail let it down slightly. However I must add the staff were very friendly,obviously understaffed and busy and trying their best! OK so new update, we went back again, if anything the service and quality has got worse! 35 minute wait, despite the fact there was only about 7 tables in the restaurant. Kids burger was so well done that it tasted charred and burnt, even I struggled to eat it! Drinks had to be requested again as they didn't arrive before the food, expensive and poor service. Probably won't give them another chance!

Served us a raw chicken burger on the 12th February, no apologies or offer of a replacement by our server Ahmed he just took the burger away. Was told to go up to till for a refund to be told they can’t as I’d ordered online and I’d have to wait for a refund. Daniel who served us on the till was very unhelpful and seemed like he wanted us gone so he could serve the next customer as all he told us was our server was meant to just offer a replacement. The other burger we ordered was poor quality as well and both burgers resulted us in experiencing severe food poisoning the following day.

The service here was terrible. The other staff were better but the one working with light hair was rude and was on his phone most the time whilst the orders were going cold! Every table had complained and 3 people went up to the kitchen to get their food which was jsut aitting on the side whilst the guy replied to his text messages. The food was okay, chips came way after the burgera. We were told by another employee that we had to get our condiments for our chips , but then brought them to the table next to us … had a good experience at a different GBK but never going to one again . They were also turning people away 2 hours before closing even though the restaurant was empty. Furthermore, they closed the toilets an hour prior to closing time so everyone was forced to use the same baby changing toilet which was also horrendously dirty.

Grossly incompetent staff. Only realised that they had lost my order 45 minutes after closing and then refused to remake it. Have also had problems before when dining in with key ingredients (such as fries) not being available, as well as with staff mixing up orders. I would strongly recommend avoiding this GBK (other branches are amazing) as it appears to be run by poorly trained apes that struggle with the fundamentals of their jobs.

O2 GBK Burgers (4 burgers) were brought burnt twice even after we warned them. They did not bring one of our fries which was refunded later. Supervisor didn't get much action about that. So when we entered the GBK we were hungary, and while leaving, it was same. Table order or atmosphere is not good, this wouldn't be first, (be the last), GBK I would want to visit.

Terrible service - ok food - should be better for the price and simplicity of the menu. While the staff were generally nice and friendly, it appeared that no one actually knew what was going on. We waited over 50 minutes for our food and when we asked after 35 minutes (I don't think it was unreasonable to ask where our food was after that time in a burger joint!) We got a Sharp "it's coming!" When it did arrive the burgers came first and we had to ask for it chips - which came a 5 minutes later...i.e. Someone has cooked them! When it did come the burgers were ok (hence the 2 stars for food!), but the chicken was dry and chewy and looked like half of it was missing. I also appreciate that the O2 is not the warmest of places, but the whole restaurant (aside from the front door which has a heater) was freezing - we all had to wear our coats. Very disappointing experience, poor service and very average food, especially given the cost £12-15 a burger. Don't go to the GBK.

To the classic burger they added mustard with vinegar without stating it on the menu. The skinny fries were very crispy. And even one of the classic burgers came raw on the inside. Tbh don’t recommend.

The reason for this review is a young girl by the name of Shivani, on arrival before we were going to a concert it was extremely busy in all the restaurants in the o2. Shivani informed us that it would be a 45 minute wait for food we hummed and hard !! But decided to wait, she found us a table straight away so as to have a drink, Shivani repeatedly get checking on us and kept us well informed as to when our food was going to be out. Very pleasant girl with a great attitude to help thank you !!

Having been to other branches, I knew what to expect and was not let down. Solid burgers, with crispy chicken and a great sauce on the Korean Burger. The wings were a surprising addition on the menu and were nice and crispy. Food arrived pretty quickly as well.

We stopped at GBK before a gig at the O2. It was a Saturday night, so naturally very busy, but we were happy to queue as most restaurants were just as busy. Once inside, we ordered quickly and the food was delivered in a reasonable time. However the food was unfortunately cold (both the burgers and sweet potato fries), and we were given the wrong side and sauce (I should note that we did let the staff member know and this was rectified). It definitely has the potential to be better and we’d not rule out a visit in the future, but felt important to share our experience in the hope it might help improve service going forward.

The ultimate of example of how terrible management and service loses revenue and customers for the business. 25 minutes of waiting whilst a third of the tables were not cleaned. Once we made it to the table the waiting time for the food was another 30 minutes. Absolutely disgraceful and needs a new manager and training of the team on how to run a restaurant business.

When you have a line out the door and half the tables in the restaurant are empty, waiting to be bussed, you are losing revenue and upsetting customers. Especially after they wait in line for 20 minutes and find out it would take 30 minutes for food after ordering. The staff had little urgency and there employees doing nothing. Mains (burgers) arrived shortly after were cold and had become almost like plastic. Sides were forgotten and arrived later with some of the fries still being frozen! Upon complaining, fries were taken away and a new portion was served with some of the fries still being frozen! Almost felt like a prank at that point. Sides were refunded in the end but this does not compensate for the ruined meal experience. Abysmal food quality and service.

We had skipped breakfast and lunch, and enjoyed another top London day out. We decided to eat before going home, and had been meaning to try GBK for some time, you know these burger places will be more expensive, but we wanted a proper sit down meal, and a good burger, and that's what we got. Greeted quickly at the door as we waited to be seated, nice staff. Good selection of burgers, I went for the Mighty One which is a 16oz burger! You can order at the table via an app (I think) but we chose to order at the counter as the mrs asked about gluten free buns. No problems, easy process. I ordered a pint of lager, which was good. We did the 3 sides deal, all 3 sides were good, chips were hot, and chicken pieces were better than expected. We both had large burgers thinking we might as well jump in and try the best on offer, and we hadn't eaten that day. Both burgers were great and filling. If you want to consider price, yes this was the most expensive burger meal I've ever bought. But I'm happy with the overall experience and food. We are both pretty healthy, and fast between meals and don't eat many burgers, this is definitely one of the best burgers I've eaten, it certainly was a Mighty One! Worth popping in for a burger treat.

The GBK restaurants are usually very good, but specifically in this one it was not so.the meat burgers were bad ,the meat tasted burnt grilled, as well as the tenders that you could tell they were from another day and were with a not very good colour.the chef quite clueless and without solutions , first they gave us 1 burger and 1 salad when we had ordered 2 burgers and then when he gave us the other burger he forgot to put ingredients.The service some waiters quite good and friendly, but on the other hand the girl who served us did not give us good service because when we claimed that there was a fault in the food, as there were 2 burgers she showed me the kitchen ticket insinuating that it was our fault, but not clearly on the ticket it said 2 burger, which then the chef gave us a cold burger and no lettuce.

I tried their Korean BBQ Chicken Burger and Strawberry and Elderflower fizzy drink. The taste was all right. The service is fine. More affordable than other eateries nearby. The app/scanning at table was not working when I visited. So we had to order at the counter which was a bit slow. This is a fast food joint, so one must not expect fine dining here.

I like eating at GBK usually and was looking forward to having a nice meal before seeing a concert. The staff were very courteous, however, when our 2 meals were served, my daughters meal was stone cold. We told the waitress and it was eventually replaced. We noticed that quite a few meals seemed to be being sent back to the kitchen too. Not sure what was happening in the kitchen just night because it didn't seem that over busy. My meal was warm enough to eat When my daughters meal did arrive, it wasn't what she ordered, they'd replaced what I'd had. Good job we're both pescatarians otherwise it might've been a problem. When we left the restaurant, we noticed that on the pass, a couple of meals had been sitting there for sometime which might've been the problem in the first case.

Even though it sells fast food, if you want to grab something quick before a movie or concert, don't go there!! It took over 45 mins to have my order served (just 2 burgers and 1 french fries) and the food quality was not good. I ordered a medium cooked beef burger but it turned out to be very "well done" and the portion of the French fries was not very generous. It's not value for money. The other US fast food chain store in the shopping mall should be a better choice.

Visited a GBK for the first time and was a little underwhelmed. Firstly, £8 for just a beef burger on its own is rather expensive. Although it was good quality and cooked how you wanted it. Sadly my fries were cold when they came out so I needed to ask for replacements (which was resolved quickly) The Lemon fresh and fizzy drink was very nice and free refills too. The other big let down was the toilets. They always say to judge a food venue on its toilets and in this case I would score it even lower. Both sinks in the gents had taps that were loose and coming away from the surface, they didn’t feel particularly clean either. Staff all seemed friendly though.

I requested an hamburger medium rare and came out burnt (literally burnt). When I told the waiter that the burger was burnt he shrug and said he could potentially call someone else to talk to (and never did). Fries were cold. In the O2 there much better places than this. AVOID AT AL COSTS

Not quite impressed to be honest. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the place looks fancy i suppose, but for the price I wouldn't say it's worth it. It's the typical "our burgers cost £10 with no sides" kind of place. Came here with a friend, my burger and her fires were cold by the time they got to us. They replaced them of course, and the blue cheese burger was tasty, just not quite worth the price for how tiny it was.

Went here with friends and ordered food was told we had to do it online even though the place was empty one of my friends got there's after a really long wait and it looked absolutely awful so bad it looked as though it was somebody else's leftover burger recoated with sauce and reserved. Badly by the way. So I decided I'd just get a refund. I'm still unsure if I even got refunded as for some odd reason it has totally been erased from my bank statement I've made numerous calls regarding this and have just been told that it's been refunded . Okay so why isn't it on my bank statement at all anymore when it originally was I've been told by someone called Stuart that the reason it's not on my statement is because it was refunded straight away. Well it wasn't and telling me it was is basically calling me a liar. The staff were standing about doing nothing and we have to order and pay before being served and asked to pay a service fee. Before even being served so the staff get to see if they're going to get a tip. Here's a tip serve people instead of just being lazy even the chefs looked like they couldn't be bothered they were just staring in to the dining area.

We were visiting the O2 along with my sister and we stumbled upon GBK over there. Having good experiences in GBK as a traveller before so I didnt hesitate to get in. The manager, Fatema, was easy to get along and she pointed out seperate recommendations for both of us. I tried the Taxi Driver burger and the taste was excellent. The people around the GBK were friendly too. Next time if I stumbled upon O2 again, this would be one of the primary options to go to eat light.

I've been to GBK's before but this was our first time at this particular establishment. There's nothing terrible about it, but nothing great either. You order your food from an app, so there isn't really much of a table service, and yet when you order they're asking for a tip which is a bit cheeky. The order was incorrect which was a little frustrating and we waited ages just for our drinks. The food itself was rather subpar, I left feeling rather unsatisfied. The guy who was the host/waiter absolutely reeked of body odor which was really off-putting.

My son ate here today, he asked for his burger to be plain. It came up with sauce in it. He explained that he asked for plain and was told you didn’t say no sauce but when he ordered his friend and he both said just burger and bun because his mate knew he wouldn’t eat it if it didn’t come up plain. They accused him of lying that he never said that and he sat and just ate the fries . He is 16 and was treated like a child they would not treat an adult this way. Very poor customer service for a service industry restaurant .

I found this place by chance and I am very glad I did. Everyone either says hello to you or gives you a friendly smile. There was a live blues band and I was not disappointed! The band engaged with the crowd and was encouraged to participate with the band by singing. People (as well as myself) were dancing, very happy and embraced the blues. The staff were absolute perfection! Whilst speaking with the friendly staff I found out there are karaoke nights, dj sets and a whole lot more going on there. I am glad I came to this establishment and let the blues take my soul. Oh, and for those that are wondering there IS a pool table there which I will be heavily using 😂 I absolutely loved it there and WILL be going back!

My partner and I visited this restaurant for our 2nd wedding anniversary, using vouchers we received as a gift. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Steak: The steak was chewy and far from the quality we expected. Salad: The lettuce in our salad was a bit yellow, indicating it wasn't fresh. Seating: We were seated at the back of the restaurant, which felt like sitting outside in a cheap Weatherspoons garden. No offence to Weatherspoons, but it definitely gave off those vibes. Ambiance: There was nothing special about the ambiance, which was a letdown for our special occasion. Food Quality: The main course and dessert were of very low quality. The only highlight of the meal was the starters—salmon tacos, which we did enjoy. As locals, we would recommend avoiding this place if you're coming to the O2 for a meal. There are so many other restaurants that you'd enjoy far more. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially for a special occasion. We expected much better.

This McDonald's has seriously gone downhill in the 6 years that I've lived in woolwich. When I first moved to the area, orders were correct, burgers were made well and the service was great. Now, if you order in store - make sure that your order is correct before leaving or going to your table and good luck if your order online... 9/10 times the order is wrong or has something missing. I once ordered a cheesy bacon flatbread... and only got a stale flat bread! No quality control and no checking of orders. They are more concerned in getting orders out than making sure that they are correct. Focus more on the quality of the service than fulfilling orders to meet quotas.

Upon entering I got the feeling that they were closing even though it was not yet 9:00 PM. Had a burger with fries that were covered in rosemary salt so that the flavor of the burger could not be tasted. I got nauseous during the night, I don't know why. But not recommended
