Honest Burgers in Greenwich

the burger was nice but the tables were really tiny and way too close together and I felt really exposed sat in the middle of the restaurant with people constantly walking directly behind my chair every minute moved to the window seat when someone left that was better the prices were quite expensive at £16 for a burger and fries and the drink selection was really small with it being just coke or lemonade then when it came instead of being given a cup I was given a can of diet coke and a tiny jar that couldn't even fit the contents of the can and it had a really wide rim that made drinking from it really uncomfortable when we finished eating they took the plates they didn't bring the payment machine and we had to ask 3 times over the course of 10 minutes then when they did they added a 10% service charge without telling me adding £3 to the meal the receipt said discretionary but they never asked or told me so it wasn't discretionary they just stole £3 from me and even if it was discretionary that just weaponises guilt to make you pay more than was advertised on the menu would not recommend

Nos encanta la hamburguesa honesta. Visité muchas de sus sucursales así que cuando conseguí un vale para celebrar mi cumpleaños aprovechamos para visitar su sucursal de Greenwich. A la llegada estaba ocupado, pero una pareja estaba saliendo de su mesa y nos pidieron que aguantáramos un par de minutos. No hay problema. Estaba ocupado después de todo. Lo siguiente que sabemos es que estamos arriba (bueno, finalmente descubrimos que estábamos como el servidor corrió sin nosotros). Nos sentamos en una habitación vacía y unos 2 minutos después nos preguntaron qué palos queríamos. Ordeno que se les diga que no tenemos esa cerveza. ¿Lager en cambio? Eventualmente nos decidimos por una bebida y pedimos nuestra comida. Esto llegó muy rápido y las hamburguesas estaban sabrosas. No a su estándar habitual, pero sabroso. Los aros de cebolla eran otro asunto. Realmente grasoso que causó problemas más tarde en la noche. Pero había poca o ninguna atención a los detalles en el servicio. Al salir notamos que todos en el restaurante principal tenían botellas de agua, nunca nos ofrecieron esto. ¡Se sentía como si, como una pareja mayor, fuéramos acomodados arriba para que los 'niños geniales' pudieran ser vistos en la entrada! En general todavía visitaremos honestamente. Pero no esta sucursal. Una oportunidad realmente desperdiciada para mi cumpleaños.

Awesome burger, and the service was great even though they were extremely busy! Totally recommend it!

I'm a returning customer and have placed many orders from Honest via Uber Eats. It's usually been good, even if sometimes not as hot as expected, but I've always given good rating. However today when I placed my order at 20:04, the ETA was 45-65mins latest ( which I thought was normal for a Friday eve). But time kept creeping up, a few delivery drivers were assigned and then suddenly unassigned, the food was being "Wrapped up" for more than an hour. ETA kept going up with latest being 21:45. Now, if I'd known how much of a delay there would be, I wouldn't have placed an order. However, Uber doesn't let you contact the restaurant and all my attempts to establish any sort of communication and find out when our dinner was coming, failed. At 21:23, I tried to cancel my order, as it obviously wasn't happening, but the restaurant had "started preparing my food" (what, like at 20:00?!) and I was going to be charged full amount. Absolute bs. Food finally arrived WAY after it should have and was warm, not hot. For a chain with such a high ethos, this was very unexpected. Hence my low rating today. I'm sorry guys, you make good burgers, but should really think again about using Uber and should at least be Honest with your customers about order times from the very beginning.

Won’t be going back again. There was a looong wait for food and drinks. We had to literally serve ourselves, I grabbed tissues/napkins myself from the bar after staff were unresponsive. There was an electrical alarm constantly beeping at the door, which was a constant interruption. Staff were very unhelpful.

Great food, took a while to get served but was worth the wait. Only downside was the toilet which was a bit mucky.

Fantastic burgers and fantastic service

If you want to be sick, don't hesitate to eat it. If you go there anyway, don't trust what the waiters say, the chicken wings are spicy, your children will notice it after being served. The toilets are in a deplorable state right next to the kitchen where I saw a waiter pick up a knife that had fallen on the floor. Bon appetit of course

We had a fantastic time at Honest Burgers in Greenwich with our friends! The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the rosemary chips were the perfect accompaniment. The atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Roberto, who was incredibly courteous and made our visit even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Me encanta Honest Burgers, vinimos aquí después de visitar el Observatorio Real, ya que no está lejos del Observatorio Real. En primer lugar, me gustaría decir lo impresionado que estoy con la gama 100 % sin gluten (GFA) en el menú de alimentos. Lo único que no está libre de gluten es el bollo regular, pero hay un bollo sin gluten disponible. Fuimos por el 8. 95 oferta de hamburguesas, refrescos y patatas fritas y también la oferta de ala y anillo de 7 libras que viene con 3 alitas de pollo y 3 anillos de cebolla. La razón por la que solo hay dos aros de cebolla en la foto que aparecí es porque ya había comido un aro de cebolla antes de tomarlo! Así de apetitosa es la comida. Tenía la hamburguesa de ternera sin gluten que era deliciosa y de muy alta calidad. También la carne es fresca y eso realmente hace la diferencia para el plato. Las patatas estaban deliciosas, ese condimento de Romero las diferencia de otras que he tenido anteriormente. ¡Fue tan bueno! A pesar de que pedí fuera del menú del almuerzo, las porciones eran increíblemente generosas y masivas. La limonada de menta casera era sabrosa y refrescante, pero no diría que tuviera el factor sorpresa, tampoco diría que fuera excepcional lo que he tenido en una experiencia anterior en una sucursal de Honest Burgers, pero era perfectamente aceptable y no dudaría en pedirla de nuevo! Estoy contento de que está en el menú del almuerzo y pensé que se servía generosamente. Las alitas regulares estaban deliciosas, honestamente fueron algunas de las mejores alitas que he tenido con la especia y el guacamole. Estaba lleno de sabor y tenía una patada suave, pero la especia no estropeó el plato en absoluto. Los aros de cebolla eran una obra maestra, 10/10 si no 11/10. Eran crujientes, crujientes, deliciosos y aún mejor que no contienen gluten. El servicio fue fantástico, los dos miembros del personal que nos estaban atendiendo eran muy amables y la comida llegó rápidamente. Mi alergia se tomó en serio y sentí que había buenos protocolos y procedimientos, incluyendo tener el papel de marca honesto debajo de la hamburguesa, mientras que la hamburguesa regular tenía papel marrón debajo de la hamburguesa. El ambiente y la decoración es agradable. A pesar de que estaba muy ocupado (recomendaría reservar con antelación) se sentía muy tranquilo y silencioso por dentro cuando fui. Betrayed my usual burger joint, and I have no regrets. I’ve been in a serious, committed, two-year-long relationship with my usual burger place. We had a good thing going—loyalty, trust, ketchup. But today, while strolling through Greenwich and getting dangerously hangry, my stomach made an executive decision. We stumbled into Honest Burgers, fully expecting a tourist trap with inflated prices and underseasoned lettuce. But plot twist: it was amazing. The chicken tenders? Crispy little golden miracles. I don’t know what kind of wizardry they’re using in the fryer, but I nearly proposed to one. And the American Classic smash burger? Oh my. It was juicy, perfectly seasoned, with just the right smash-to-bun ratio. Honestly, it didn’t feel like I cheated on my usual place—it felt like I upgraded. So now I’m in a burger love triangle. Honest Burgers, you have some explaining to do… like how dare you be this good? (Ah and they’re dog friendly!) Will definitely be back. Sorry, usual burger place. It’s not you—it’s Honest Burgers.

Honestly the service for my click and collect via Uber Eats has been superb! Unfortunately I can’t remember one lovely gentleman’s name 😔 but he really helped me in getting my order within less than 10mins. He was extremely helpful and most of all really polite. I have been a consistent customer of honest burger because they have great standards and never disappoint, but today was different. We ordered 2 burgers without bun and salad instead of chips, and they’ve sent chips + 1 salad and no bacon in one of them (paid +1.50 xtra for it). Buffalo wings were super soggy (delivery man took less than 10 min to arrive to my home) how can they be soggy that fast? By reading different reviews from this branch, it seems like Greenwich HB is a complete mess. Never ordering from here again.

Wow what a fall from grace. Extremely poor food quality. I ordered for delivery and If you complain about the poor food quality they’ll tell you to go out of your way to collect a replacement. If you complain about that they will repeatedly ignore you. I’m embarrassed to have spent so much money here in 2019-2022. Now I will never eat at any of your restaurants again. Chicken burger was thinner than a coin, buns were soaking wet, onion rings were dripping in fat and were cold. Just absolutely awful.

I can’t score high because I got a delivery. I had chicken tenders which I think was delicious tasted of nice garlic . But not overly. & the most important thing is it’s gluten free. I had gluten free onion rings too . They was beautiful & a big portion!! Which is usually so disappointing with other deliveries.

We were staying nearby and based on the reviews we wanted to have dinner one day at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very good, the food is very delicious and also good in quantity, but I highlight Roberto's attention. I had already read some comments and the truth is that they fall short. Exceptional person who also helps you, clarifies your doubts, gives you good recommendations and we leave very happy. In terms of price, compared to other restaurants, it seemed very good to us. If you are in the area, I totally recommend it!

After going to Honest Burger in Greenwich a few times, I came to the conclusion that they definitely have the best burger in Greenwich. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is really cool, along with the always very pleasant service. I would like to highlight the service provided this last time by the waiter Vasco, a very attentive and friendly Portuguese guy. I highly recommend it :-)

I’m rewriting this review from a previous 5-star rating because of an incredibly disappointing experience. I’ve been a loyal customer of Honest Burgers for years and even invested in the brand as a shareholder, so it truly pains me to leave a negative review. However, after repeatedly trying to resolve an issue with their customer service—both on Instagram and via email—most of my messages were ignored. When they finally responded, the best they could offer was a replacement burger, but only if I collected it in person, despite my original order being for delivery. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and effort to make things right has completely changed my view of the company. I used to love Honest Burgers. The food was great, and the customer service was even better. I even invested in the brand because I believed in it. But after my recent experience, it’s clear both the food and service have seriously declined. I ordered my usual chicken burger, but what arrived was embarrassingly thin—honestly, you’d get a thicker chicken burger from McDonald’s. I reached out to Honest Burgers on Instagram the same night with a photo, just to check if the portion sizes had changed. It took days to even get a response, and when they did reply, the messages were barely readable and made no sense. They asked for my email and order details, then ignored me completely. I sent follow-ups, which were read but not replied to. It took weeks before I got any proper response, despite them admitting early on that my order wasn’t up to standard. Eventually, they offered me a replacement meal—but only if I went to collect it myself. My original order was for delivery, so why should I have to go out of my way to fix their mistake? When I pushed back, they just ignored me again. This whole experience has been awful. Honest Burgers used to be known for quality food and great service, but both seem to be ruined now. If this is how they treat loyal customers, especially ones who have invested in their brand, I can’t imagine how they treat everyone else. Avoid. I’m embarrassed that I was recommending this brand to people for so long.

Primera visita y muy impresionado. Teníamos la hamburguesa de queso (y nos preguntaron cómo queríamos que se cocinara) y la hamburguesa aplastante. Ambos vinieron con papas fritas, y tuvimos un poco de salsa de tocino. Todo estaba perfectamente cocinado.

Went there on Sunday evening as we could not find any open restaurants. Two waitresses welcomed us with great smiles and nice vibe. Waiting for the burgers, we had a beer and a great chat with the staff. The food was really nice: Honest burger highly recommended. Tasty and the jammed onions are just top. Visited on 08/02/25 and whilst trying to seat myself at our small table for 2 (spacing is cramped) I noticed a dead rodent (brown mouse) under our table. Notified waiting staff who were genuinely shocked as was I, but needless to say despite being offered free drinks, we promptly declined and left the restaurant without ordering any food. This may have been a one off, but a restaurant reputation is only as good as it’s hygiene standards and on this occasion gets a one star rating and mention on reviews.

We ate at the restaurant on the first day of our trip. The food they serve is of great quality, we ordered the smash burgers offer and the quality was excellent. The service was incredibly friendly, Roberto attended to us, with great proximity and not only helped us choose the food, but also with questions about the subway, so I can say that the service was exceptional in every way. I would return to the restaurant again and again for its food, atmosphere and service.

I tried calling 5 times, there was no answer. Upon arriving at the location we waited for 20 minutes before even speaking to a member of staff, we only wanted a take away order, we were told that it would be at least 45 minutes before we could place our order for takeaway. Meanwhile deliveroo drivers were coming in and out like there was no tomorrow. Really disappointed as i’m a celiac and I can’t eat burgers from anywhere else, I won’t be returning. I wouldn’t have minded if the staff member was polite about it but she was ignorant and rude.

Para un restaurante en el medio de Londres no está ocupado y es un lugar tranquilo para cenar con amigos o incluso su pareja.

During my visit to Honest Burger, I was truly impressed by the outstanding service. As a foreigner, I often worry about language barriers, but the staff here was incredibly welcoming, patient, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, offering great recommendations and ensuring everything was perfect. The food was delicious, but the warm and friendly service made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I went there tonight after craving a burger all day. The interior is sooo cold, it's almost like being outside on a 2 degree night. I stayed a few minutes but ended up somewhere else that had the heat on. I can't be freezing and enjoy dinner. Why is it so cold inside?

Local burger shop. 10/10. If you are in the area, do try it.

I have always enjoyed Honest Burgers. My friend and I were really disappointed. Our burgers were verging on burnt. We did not enjoy the meal. The service was good.

This is a racist place. I went for lunch on a weekday, and all the Asians were in the inner seats (a place with no windows and not visible from the outside) rather than the main hall. Just in case, I came alone and was shown to a seat inside, so when I said I wanted to eat in the hall, I was shown to a corner seat. (There was not a single person in the main hall, and there were plenty of seats left.) After that, Asians who came in were also shown to seats inside. A few minutes later, Westerners came in and were ushered straight into the hall^^. It was my first time experiencing racial discrimination since I came to England, so I was very uncomfortable. If you want to eat Honest Burger, go somewhere else. (The employees seemed to be smiling and friendly, but their actions were not so, so I was very disappointed.)

Three people for an early dinner, ordered three burgers and fries (with gravy ofc!!) and it was delicious would really recommend. Vasco our waiter was fantastic and friendly, and was super lovely to talk to. As we were celebrating a birthday he even joined us in a song! I would definitely recommend - thank you so much Vasco, you made our afternoon :)

Good place for a mediocre burger in a cramped place. Tribute burger tasted like vinegar and generally was uninspiring not sure why. Maybe the buns are too big. Maybe I prefer simpler smash/bleecker burgers. Who knows. Table was rocking, I fixed it. But yeah, all right, would.come again. Staff were nice.

Ate a really tasty and different burger than usual. Prices normal for London, obviously nothing to do with McDonald's both in terms of quality and price. A must try for anyone in the area. For children they also provide paints and coloring sheets. Well done

Loved the whole experience, but what really stood out to me was the service from Vamsi. He was very attentive and helpful.

Ordered whilst staying for the night, from Bristol watching a gig, was easy click and collect and food lovely, but was freezing cold by time got hotel (1 min walk max )

Visited the other week and was served by Vasco. Absolute gem of a team member. We four gents had had a few beers prior to arrival and were in desperate need of food, Vasco looked after us amazingly and provided us with some amazing conversation. Hope to visit again soon.

Continuing my quest to sample all the Local Burgers - today was the Greenwich! Honest beef, palma ham, taleggio cheese, crispy onions, chilli jam, rocket and pickles - whats not to love. Accomopanied with a portion of chicken tenders washed down with a pint of Brooklyn Pildner. Delicious food, comfy venue and great service. 5 stars! Worth a visit.

Honest Burgers is great for consistency across the different branches, in my experience. The food is always good, the price-point is appropriate and I can always rely on food satisfaction when I eat there. The chips are AMAZING, it's worth going just for that. Enjoy!

- By far the best burger I had the greater London area. Coming from cattle country in the USA it was nice to eat a burger that tasted like home. Plus they had a mint lemonade drink that was refreshing and delightful!
