There are plenty of coffee shops I could frequent, but I chose this one because it is beautiful, has ambience and character. The staff are engaging, warm and friendly and if you have the time and inclination their cakes, biscuits, sandwiches (with vegetarian options) is worth exploring. Delicious đ is an understatement. On occasion, I deliberately miss my train just to stay in this friendly place.
I can honestly say this is one of the best fish and chip shops in London.
Quality fresh fish with crispy batter all round, quality potatoes that are cut perfect size.
The staff are passionate about the quality of there food and its great to still find a place like this.
It's not rocket-science, quality fish and potatoes with proper batter, so why do so many fish n chip shops in london cock it up???

Simply some of the best latin American food on this side of the pond. Shoreditch has many great options for latin food, and this is one of my favourites. The food is exquisite, well priced, well portioned, and served quick and fresh!
Fantastic place, one of my go tos! Food quality and service are always impeccable with omelettes and coffee being highlights. Highly recommend going for a brunch.
Real/craft ale place. Came for a quick drink. First time visit. Very cosy little place .Beer garden outside the front. Great choice of drinks, wines as well as ales.Lager a bit lacking (they only had one bottled lager but it was admittedly gorgeous). Brilliant friendly service, very helpful. Snacks and nibbles are available.Merchandise was on sale as well (I had to buy a baseball cap). Well worth a visit.

The pizza here is fantastic! I started with the bruschetta, and the bread was incredibly light, with a deliciously fresh taste. For the main course, I had the mushroom pizza, which was enormousâI definitely could have skipped the starter! As you can see from the picture, it was so big that it spilled over the edge of my plate. Definitely worth the money! The flavor was amazing and tasted fresh, and there was a great selection of sauces to choose from. I went with truffle oil, but Iâm curious to try a different one next time.
The restaurant got quite busy, which created a lively and buzzing atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and they were very apologetic when a mistake was made on the bill.
Overall, a great experienceâIâll definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Roots. It was our first visit after reading a recommendation, and arriving at 5:30pm on a Saturday was perfect for a relaxed start with cocktails. We were greeted with such a warm welcome and loved the whole evening. The restaurant filled up quickly after 6pm but we never felt rushed.
The staff were so friendly & attentive, without being overbearing. We began with poppadoms and delicious cocktailsâ the accompanying sauces were amazing. My starters was the vegetable samosa chaat, which was just outstanding. My boyfriend had the venison kebab, which he thoroughly enjoyed. For mains, we had the lamb saag and the sea bass & prawn curry, with sides of mushroom/spinach saag & black lentil dahl - each dish was packed with outstanding, distinct flavours.
Interior and presentation of the dishes is gorgeous, and it's just a lovely atmosphere. The chefs and front of house staff clearly know how to provide a wonderful standard of food and service.
We're really looking forward to our next visit to try some of the other dishes. Highly recommend! âșïžđ
Old fashioned bistro, one of the dying out type. Nothing fancy but everything fresh, plentiful, and wonât bankrupt your wallet. Loads of people from Underground, means food is good and healthy.
