My daughter Michelle loves Japanese food. So we try it w/ my wife Maggie. And family friend Nick, Louie & Malou. Staff are genuine friendly, food is great👍 And the ambience is great! Is like I've been is this restaurant for long time. But actually is our first time. Feels like home❤️

My personal favorite Japanese restaurant, I'd even dare to say ome of the best in London as I've been to many. Portions, service and food quality are 10/10, would totally recommend if you're in the area!

Excellent ambient! Love how the seating is limited, shows that they truly care for the customer experience. My stay was one of the best Japanese/pan Asian restaurants I’ve been to. Truly can’t recommend this place enough. Would really recommend the sushi as its super fresh.

I don't ever leave reviews, but the salmon avocado sushi roll was incredible. Went during lunch time, only 3 minutes to make it and the staff are incredibly friendly!

It's a shame to give 2 stars because the waitress was very friendly and the place seems authentic. The problem is that I ordered several dishes with tuna and it was one of the worst I had in my life. Not very fresh, with some veins and totally dry, close to gray in color. The dessert was curious, other fish a little better, but not very exciting either. The rolls with crab sticks and etc. It doesn't deserve its 4.9 stars even close.

Nice and friendly staff with great food. Overall a an amazing experience. The sushi was my personal favourite.

The place is cosy and very welcoming! Foods are scrumptious with excellent service & very friendly staffs. Highly recommended. I would go back there again and again. They even have a direct order and have your order delivered to your door!

During our visit to Kizana, we sampled a variety of sushi rolls, each offering a distinct experience: Spicy Salmon Roll (5/5): This was the highlight of our meal, packing a delightful punch of heat that we thoroughly enjoyed. Prawn Tempura Roll (5/5): Perfectly balanced with a satisfying crispiness from the tempura and a smooth, creamy finish from the mayo. An excellent combination. California Roll (4/5): A solid choice, well-executed, though nothing particularly stood out. It was a good representation of a classic California roll. Truffle Tuna Roll (3/5): While the truffle flavour was subtle, which we appreciated, the texture was less appealing. The seaweed wrap and slightly harder sushi rice detracted from the overall experience. Soft Shell Crab Roll (2/5): Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing dish. The roll was poorly constructed, falling apart easily, and the non-end pieces were soggy with no crispness—a far cry from what we expected. As for the restaurant itself, there were a few drawbacks. The server lacked knowledge of the menu, giving vague explanations when we inquired about specific sushi rolls. The printed menu didn’t specify the ingredients, and there was no guidance when our sushi platter was served, leaving us to identify each roll ourselves. Additionally, the ambiance was lacking; the restaurant appeared a bit tired, and there was a noticeable smell of oil, suggesting a need for better ventilation. Despite these issues, the quality of the Spicy Salmon Roll and Prawn Tempura Roll helped redeem the experience. However, given the glowing 4.9-star Google reviews, our expectations were higher than what Kizana delivered. While it’s worth a visit for the standout rolls, it may not fully live up to the hype.

A fantastic sushi restaurant. The best that I have had.

What a find. We live in Battersea and just found this place. Excellent everything. The best soft shell crab rolls we have had in London. The truffle beef, black cod, and teriyaki beef all excellent. The chef is the owner and takes immense pride in his food. I didn’t speak to him but it shows. Fairly priced. We will be regulars !!!!!!

Dining at Japanese Fusion was a joy! The staff and chef were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Their attentiveness and passion for their craft made the experience truly special. The food was delicious, but it was the warm hospitality that made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Welcoming, clean and cozy atmosphere. Courteous and welcoming personnel. Genuinely interested by the clients feedback. The menu was comprehensive, it contained a wide selection of the classic Japanese dishes and a few house specialties. We tried quite a few dishes, some could be slightly improved (less salt), but in general the quality of the ingredients and dishes were above expectations. A similar meal in other more fancy locations of London would have cost at least 2 times as much.

I was excited to check out this seemingly amazing 5* review halal restaurant and I wish I trusted my gut not go. It is strange because the food quality is supermarket grade. Maki is half of what is usually served in other restaurants with similar prices, and the food lacked flavour. It was nowhere near our expectations, and the reason why I’m rating this 1 star is because of high cost for extremely low quality food and mediocre service.

Insanely good food, kind and friendly service and a cosy vibrant atmosphere at this super cute little neighbourhood gem. We came because of the other great reviews and we were not disappointed. Just 2 people running the entire cooking and service operation which was so impressive. This will be my new go to sushi place!

An absolute gem! Kizana may be a small little place on Battersea park road, but let me tell you that their food is like or better than many top restaurants in Mayfair. Top quality ingredients and excellently well cooked on the spot and perfect presentation. Can’t stop going back!

Incredible service brought us a glass of water without even asking, recommended a very good sushi roll and gave as extra ginger - the best.

I’ve been here twice now for lunch. The first time I was pleasantly surprised that I had stumbled across a great Japanese restaurant. Second time I was even more pleased to confirm that it is in fact an excellent place. Great quality food; exceptionally attentive and courteous staff; and a lovely variety on the menu.

Still a rarity in London: an affordable restaurant serving good Japanese food. Even though there seem to be no Japanese staff, items like maki, tempura and wakame salad are seemingly impeccable, and it is possible to make a complete meal out of these and other items listed as "starters" without resorting to the "main courses", which I suspect is where the "fusion" comes in. Sake is good bht expensive. The room is quite small and, as Kizana becomes more widely known, I am sure it will become imperative to book. Closed on Mondays.

Such a hidden gem - please do yourself a favour and book a table for your next dine out plan! Absolutely mind blowing food, must try - tofu truffle, Takoyaki, katsu bao! This is one of those places I wish I could erase from my memory and come back to savour the flavours! <3

Party of 3 Visited 25/2/2024 early afternoon. Absolutely fantastic food: had a mixture of sashimi and rolled sushi, tempura and filo prawns, edamame, followed by coconut mochi and the chocolate matcha fondant. Lovely host and chefs, atmosphere cosy and welcoming. Thank you so much!

Delicious sushi. The salmon and tuna tartare with truffle ponzu are highly recommended, as are the prawn, gindara and yasai tempura. The sushi was fresh and the presentation was clean and creative. Only minor suggestion would be that the Takoyaki should have a bit more octopus inside. The service was lovely and attentive.

Restaurant with a very small menu, overpriced for the small portions. The rolls are essentially half of what you find typically in a Japanese restaurant, at the same price. For 7£ a glass, we had a mediocre white wine. A bit cold inside. The personal is kind. A final note: it is very very strange that the restaurant has 251 reviews, all with 5 stars. Not even a 4 star? Very strange.

We’ve just had another outstanding meal at Kizana. Definitely, the best Japanese restaurant in Battersea and one of the best in London.

A lovely little spot. Great service, amazing food. As a fully veggie crew, the waitress had great recommendations and even suggested an off the menu item (vegetable gyozas) which were soooo yum. The vegetable rolls were my favourite, but honestly, the truffle tofu was incredible too. We had a bottle of the merlot which was really smooth. I had such a good meal 🥹 it's a strong hell yes from me.

Visited today for lunch, and the restaurant certainly lived up to its top reviews. Fresh, top quality and absolutely delicious food, served by attentive staff. The main menu looked amazing, but we actually ordered from the excellent selection on the lunch menu. We had no trouble finding suitable dishes for our children - even the picky one! - and we all particularly loved the prawns tempura. Delighted to have found this wonderful restaurant - we will be back!

Our family is not really a fan of Japanese food, we used to love chinese food. We only tried this restaurant to try their ramen, but we end up ordering more from their menu just to try them, we are so glad we did. We tried 4 different dishes apart from the 3 different flavors of ramen. We were not able to take a picture on any of it for as they arrive on our table we couldn’t stop ourselves to eat them immediately. We couldn’t agree more that all of them are delicous and fairly priced. We are all eager to come back soon

Went there for my birthday end of September and it was amazing. They got us from the door. Service is more then most 5stars offers. We loved the food and presentation the service was very detail oriented and attentive to our needs. Will be back for sure 100 times. Strongly recommend.

10 out of 10 experience. I hade the tofu truffle udon noodles and truffle salad, cucumber abo sushi, while my partner had the teriyaki chicken, and rice . Everything was outstanding. Staff were equally very accommodating and polite. Would defiantly recommend.

This Japanese restaurant has surprised us! Usually we don’t expect much from the local Japanese restaurant and specially sashimi! Wow!! Is there a 10 stars button? Fresh fishes was so fresh and tasty!! My son loves the chicken kutsu curry and moshi for dessert so much. More choice for sake’s! We would visit again and more often! Very recommended. Thank you for friendly staff and chef.

One of my favourite Japanese restaurants ever!! The truffle beef and the the black cod was out of this world. The sushi was also incredible with so much flavour. The service was amazing and staff were so friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Honestly guys this is real find. Small place but with exceptional - and I mean EXCEPTIONAL - cooking. The black cod was as good as Nobu (and I have good experience of their cuisine) and everything else was similarly of the highest standard. The only 4* would be atmosphere as it’s ever so slightly underwhelming … but for everything else it gets a solid 5*.

Kizana is a little casual gem in a fairly nondescript row of shops in Battersea. I had a delicious lunch of miso soup with a lovely amount of seaweed, a spicy katzu chicken bau bun with a depth of flavour that showed real care and attention and a deliciously sweet Mizo homemade ice cream. The food is made from super fresh ingredients and the service was warm and friendly. The chef clearly knows what he is doing. Worth traveling to. I shall be back for dinner soon.

Delicious sushi with fresh ingredients! We ordered 3 different types of sushi rolls and all were fantastic (salmon avocado, spicy tuna and prawn tempura) The owner was very friendly too! Would love to come back.

Ordered takeaway. Was really nice and the fish was fresh, although premium price is paid. Would ask for more gyozas than 4 though when paying £8.

We had such a lovely experience at Kizana! The sushi was delicious and the service was impressively speedy. We loved the spicy tuna cut roll and absolutely recommend this as our favourite! The staff were attentive which made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely return! We also saw they do takeaway and look forward to trying.

Hidden gem in heart of Battersea. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive, informative, and extremely helpful. We ate more dishes here but due to the fact that the food was so tasty, we only managed to take a single photo of one of the starters. I will definitely recommend this place and it is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Battersea.

Amazing food. Don’t let the lack of vegetarian options bother you, what is there is super tasty. My only critique is that the tempura sauce could have been more plentiful to allow more easy dipping, but not enough to take away from a fantastic dining experience. Lovely staff too!

Best vegetarian dish in the area! The truffle tofu was absolutely out of this world. Rich, balanced and so very delicious. Spicy edamame also a super yummy entree. Would highly recommend.

Great lunch boxes - we had the beef bulgogj and prawn Katsu with some sushi. Everything was so flavoursome and ingredients were fresh. Will definitely go back again.

Chose to come to Kizana as we came accross it in Google and saw the 5 star rating, which made us curious. So glad we came!! Staff super friendly, helpful and accomodating with our requests. We loved everything we ordered: fresh, with a lot of flavour. We specially liked the filo shrimps, miso soup and the Kizana uromaki, and the nigiri selection. It is a little pricey but the food makes up for it. Will be back for sure to try more things on the menu! Definitely a must of the area!!

Myself and the family (3 kids) stumbled across this place after a visit to Battersea Park. The food was divine and the chef and waiter really friendly. Thoroughly recommend this to any one even remotely close. I am only disappointed they are not in north London where I live!

Just to add to the chorus of approval, we had an excellent meal at Kizana. From the tempura to the sashimi to the hosomaki to the uramaki - everything was delicious and prepared with both a lightness of touch and depth of flavour that really impressed. The hosts were attentive and friendly and the dining room was welcoming and snug. Definitely worth booking a table - we’ll be back soon!

Decent flavorful and fresh. Nice slightly sweet/vinegar rice. Sadly limited variety- no toro,crab, sea bass, seabream etc Good service. Little expensive.

Found this little spot via Google maps as I was surprised by only 5 star reviews so wanted to try it out.. the place did not disappoint!! Tiny restaurant run by a very friendly guy and smiling chefs, really enjoyed the fresh fish and the quality of the handrolls. Will definitely be back!!

So lucky to have found Kizana just around the corner. Food is great, beautifully presented. I have a prawn and crab allergy and was so grateful for the time and attention taken to know which dishes were safe! Second time visiting today, will certainly be a regular.
