Fantastic new addition to the Kentish Town food scene. Small, friendly cafe 5 mins walk north of Camden Town serving Kurdish cuisine. The Chicken 101 and falafels were freshly cooked and utterly delicious! Amazingly good value as the portions were very generous. Do give this place a try.

I ordered Cod & Chips and a small Lamb Doner kebab, The fish was tasty and white only found 1 small bone it it as well which was pleasing, the chips were thick and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and polite, The kebab was excellent also, well filled with fresh crispy lettuce nicely sliced tomatoes and great tasting onion, the garlic sauce was great too, not overpowering. All in all a very satisfying experience, keep up the great service and well cooked and presented food, the shop was very clean and well maintained.

Went on a Sunday evening with a friend after watching the football. We were only meant to go for one drink as it was Sunday but the drinks were so delicious we ended up staying for 3. I initially ordered 2 cocktails that sounded like things I would typically order and both were amazing. On the third, I decided to pick something I would never usually go for to see if everything was just fantastic - it was also delicious. Service was great as well, very attentive bar staff who had a bit of banter about them. Cocktails were between £11-13 which is pretty decent for central London. This was a high quality experience where you could bring friends, business associates or a date.

Il Sovrano is exactly what you want a family run Italian cafe-restaurant to be. Owners Bruno and Megan greet you when you walk in the door, the staff are well briefed and attentive and serve with a smile, the coffee is lovely, the food fresh and kindly priced and the many other tempting Italian goodies (fresh Calabrian bread baked on the premises, cheeses, cured meats etc) are on display and ready to be bought and taken home. West Dulwich has been crying out for something like this and the fact it’s busy and bustling is a great sign.

A really good find in W12. Modern and airy with excellent coffee and a really nice menu of simple food done well. Alex, the general manager was really cheerful and clearly cares about her establishment. I will be going back when I am in the area. Wifi was good too so I could work as well.

We went on Sunday 4th July after visiting the Tate Britain. It is situated in a nice location and has friendly and welcoming staff (thank you Nouha!). We ordered two salads, an eggs benedict and a tuna sandwich, all of which were delicious. Definitely visiting again!!!

Where do I start. I was hoping to book my mother's 90th birthday celebrations at this venue. So I went beforehand to check it out, undercover lol I came 40 mins before closing time and the host(my memory is terrible and I have forgotten her name, sorry) She was welcoming I ordered sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and calamari. It came hot, well presented and it was delicious. From then I knew I wanted to have the birthday party there. The planning and arranging between us was effortless, Host was so lovely. The day of the party the tables were arranged as discussed. The food we decided on was on point. Even the guest bought extra food as they loved the food. Every single person had only the best reviews. Especially my mother. Thank you so much for making her special day a great one. The venue can hold up to 38 people comfortable Parking is free, but check times. Cloakroom available Toilets spotless and on the same level. But no baby changing area. Venue was clean and fresh. Such a relaxed venue. Staff were polite, cheerful and helpful. I could go on

It’s just on the Fulham side of the bridge on the King’s Road over the railway line from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction so is just within range of Chelsea supporters looking for a pre-match bite. They were very much in evidence last Saturday and before we left at about 2pm had attracted security on the door. The menu is described as British basque and for weekend brunch features all the brunch staples of granola, eggs Benedict, full English plus rarebit, then steak tartare, pumpkin and goat’s cheese, fish du jour and spiced crab on toast. Not sure where shakshuka fits in or cassoulet de Toulouse which is not quite in the pays du Basque. Mixed starters of ham croquettes and chorizo were not only superb but generous in quantity. The fish du jour mackerel came with a satisfyingly marinated beetroot salad but not exactly a steal at £22. The cassoulet, however, turned out to be the piece de resistance, featuring slices of morteau sausage, black pudding, confit duck and white beans. A pity we didn’t have time for dessert.
