Oysteria in Tower Hamlets

I made a reservation for my partners birthday. When I arrived in Canary Wharf, I dropped off the cake and was given the option of choosing the table despite my booking being hours away from that time. I would like to give a special thanks to Tess, Amelia, Java and Hider. I must say that everyone was so friendly and the atmosphere feels like a family ran business. Some of the staff members were young people however, presented with better customer care qualities than I have received at restaurants from more seasoned staff members. Everyone made our experience very special especially when it came to bringing out the cake! Thank you so much.

This restaurant has an amazing location and me and my family really enjoyed ourselves, nice vibing music and we received an excellent service from Jamie and Daniela that looked after us impeccably and informed us about the amazing happy hour deal, we couldn't stop ordering cocktails, they were beautifully made and strong! We were a table of 10 and each of us truly enjoyed the meals, menu selection is undiscusseble, just perfect and satisfied our difficult requests!! Personally I had the lobster linguine made from home-made pasta and I didn't have such a good one from my trip in Italy! We will definitely return!

The restaurant offers a sufficient variety of seafood dishes with an Italian twist. We ordered seafood salad, fish and lobster and crab pasta. All were excellent. The chef is doing an exceptional job preparing his selection of dishes. The wine selection, although somewhat limited for a place of that caliber is sufficient and very reasonably priced. Our waiter Siam attended to our every whim with ease and genuine friendliness. The owner was equally accommodating. My only problem was the level of noise, aggravated by a rather nondescript music which limits the use of Oysteria for business meals.

Fabulous lunch. Amelia looked after us so well. She’s a real gem. We all enjoyed the food but beware the pasta arabbiata as it’s VERY hot with 🌶️. Will definitely come here again as it has a lovely menu.

This is my second visit to Oysteria and like the first I wasn’t disappointed. Staff are friendly and attentive. Service is very good and food delicious. It will definitely be a regular.

Took my wife here last night food was great and staff went above and beyond couldn’t of asked for more, we wanted to sit outside as all the tables were full they brought another table out for us and had a lovely seat next to the river big shout out to our waiter Java he was great fun and very nice to chat with will definitely return

This place is my favourite spot! I come here very often and every time I enjoy my time! The seafood is the best I ever had, really recommend the oysters, lobster linguine and the pistachio tiramisu.. and so on..so on.. great vibe and good music, special thank to Jamie and Daniela which always make sure we are looked after and big compliments to the chef Gianluca!

I was at the restaurant with colleagues for a quick lunch. I probably should have had something else at this kind of restaurant but I fancied a burger so ordered one. It was the worst burger I had ever had. I wish I had said something at the time but we didn't have long to eat. The patty was as hard as a rock. I do not know how it is possible to dry it out quite that badly. Perhaps cooking it, freezing it, then reheating it would do that. If they can't be cooked fresh then take them off the menu. Having said that, the other dishes that came out where really good and the service was great.

Food was yummy.Well decorated and excellent. Freshly cooked and well served. Every goods are fresh. Well cooked with heat. Every ingredients are perfectly cooked with perfect heat.

I came here with work colleagues for lunch and was instantly met with a very warm welcome by Jamie and Daniella. The food was absolutely delicious, and the lunch menu enables lunch in Canary Wharf to be affordable which is rare for the area. I have since visited again, and had very similar positive experiences. If you are in the area and desire seafood this is the best location by far!

We visited here for a family celebration. We were warmly welcomed and drinks were served. After ordering, our starters arrived after about 20 minutes….the oysters were very good. Main courses arrived 30 minutes later, seafood linguine for 2 of us was awful, the linguine was dry and sticky and the shellfish was cold. We sent it back and waited another 20 minutes. Nothing happened and when we questioned our waiter he said the kitchen had put us back in the queue. We asked for the bill…paid and as we were leaving the manager/ owner apologised for our experience and invited us to join him next time we were close. We live locally and will not be going back! I really cannot understand how this restaurant has 74 x 5 star reviews!

A mediocre experience. The starters were reasonable although not original - burrata , prawn cocktail, calamari etc. The main course’s disappointing. Linguine which was covered with catering style sauce. Surrounded by Mussels and clams which were cold. Overall this is an overpriced restaurant offering mid market fare. There are many other choices.

We came here for a casual family dinner on a Monday night. The server was very attentive and accommodating to our needs and requests. We really appreciated the service and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
