Had the pistachio croissant. Was very delicious. Staff were really friendly. I went in the middle of the day in a week day, I was the only person sitting in. Lots of locals came by for coffee take out orders. Lovely atmosphere. Only down side was the cafe was very small. Wouldn’t want to sit in on a busy day/ time.

The server was friendly, coffee and croissant was good. Update: I’ve had a coffee from here everyday this past week, the pistachio and bueno lattes with oat milk are my favourite. I have also tried their matcha and if i’m being honest it wasn’t to my liking but I added a tiny bit of vanilla syrup when I got home and it was really good

It’s just as well this place is not close to home as I’d be here more often expanding my waistline with their delicious specialty croissants. Today it was pistachio topped with tiramisu 😋 And of course great coffee.

the lattes were amazing! unfortunately we didn’t try any pastries but i definitely will next time i come here. it was around a 10 minute walk from columbia road flower market. the staff were so so nice as well. i will definitely be returning

My favourite specialty coffee shop! Always amazing selection of pastries and sandwiches! They do many options with meat and vegetarian. Coffee needs separate topic to talk about. Always special, always delicious and what’s most important baristas has good knowledge about what they are doing ! If you are specialty coffee enthusiasts you must visit this place!

Tried their Apricot filled Bombalone doughnut. It was huge and filled to the point of bursting with apricot and best of all, it was soooooo good. Also the lady on shift was super helpful and kind. Over all it was a great experience.

That was one of the best desserts we’ve ever had. Simple but high quality ingredients. Very crispy croissant, freshly baked, delicious pistachio ice cream (sweat and salty) and perfect pistachio cream. Great atmosphere, excellent service. Huge recommendation.

Lovely place and food! We stayed in a table outside and was kind of sunny so it was lovely. The croissant with pistachio cream was great, just that the croissant was not fresh enough as it was 4pm and I guess they make them early in the morning. The pistachio cream amazing and the coffees very nice as well

One of the best roastery I have been to, I had such a well balanced and tasty Ethiopian as an espresso, it was perfectly brewed. There is also many other different coffee beans and for who ever wants to try coffees with different flavours and aromas, this is the perfect place I reckon to go and try

This Cafetiere is just something else- the coffee was one of the best we had in London. Staff was really nice. Be sure to try their cheese sandwich and their pistachios croissants! Delicious!

Real coffee connoisseurs! Super friendly staff and most inportantly outstanding coffee in good variety.

A small space packed with delicious treats and coffee. Although it can be difficult to find seating, the warm community atmosphere and excellent staff more than make up for it.

I was in a hurry and called in advance to collect my coffee and pistachio donut. A friendly guy took my order over the phone and I was later met with the female barista who gave me a warm welcome. The Ethiopian coffee was 10/10 and so was the donut.

Best place in London for filter coffee

Today was my first time here and I would definitely go back. The shop has a very cozy ambiance, Mauro and his staff are so kind and are so passionate about coffee. Hands down is the best coffee I've had in London. The pastries are a whole new level, the pistachio croissant is TO DIE FOR.

What a treat! If you love pistachio, this is the place for you. Instagram does it justice, I went in hoping for the best and I was floored. I got a pistachio latte and a pistachio doughnut, both excellent. The staff were super friendly, and even though it was quite busy they were really upbeat and lovely. I will 100% be coming back to try out other menu must haves (I'm thinking the ice-cream stuffed croissant in the summer 🥹).

Absolutely love the specialty cafetière in Hackney! Hands down the best espresso in town – rich, robust, and perfectly brewed. But what truly steals the show is their incredible Italian 'bombolone' with pistachio. A delightful treat that transports you straight to Italy with its authenticity and heavenly flavor. What a lovely, cozy little cafe with a unique menu! I went with my husband, our toddler and baby, and a couple of friends. Between us we had a ham & cheese croissant, some banana bread, a muffin, and coffees. I tried the pistachio latte and it was delicious! I would highly recommend. The atmosphere was calm and there is a yoga studio out the back, which fits with the overall vibe. The decor is very homely and welcoming, it's clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would say the only downside is that there isn't much space to move around (we didn't have a pram and I think we would have struggled with it, if we did). We would gladly go back when visiting the area again.

Came for the pistachio profiteroles which were unfortunately a bit stale and difficult to eat. The pistachio latte was nice.

Simply the best croissants and bombolones in London! I have had so many of their pistacchio and hazelnut cream bombolone, they are just incredible! Also very much recommend their specialty lattes (e.g. pistacchio, panettone), all very delicious! A friend of mine (professional barista for years) also vouches for their coffee. Great guys, always with a smile on their face. Looking forward to coming back next time!

Had a delicious pistachio croissant from here and the staff were lovely too :)!!

The lady who made the coffee sent us away after purchasing, when we stood outside the shop in the rain as there was no space inside. This was after an incredibly long wait with no indication of how long it would be. We'd bought a donut prior and were looking forward to enjoying the lovely coffee served with it. However, she showed how valued our custom really was by opening the hatch and was genuinely rude in telling us we were no longer wanted there. There was no branding from where the donut was bought and we were showing their branding on the cup. The other customers outside were also shocked at her snarky attitude. The coffee was nice but I will not spend my money in places where it's not appreciated and with skewed ethics. Maybe she has an issue with certain people as there are some similar reviews. It's such a shame as my friend was really excited to support this business and it could have been a new regular spot.

Not a really good experience. The place is small , you don’t have space to eat inside . I am not going to lie their pistachio doughnut is really good but expensive. It was more shocking when I asked them for the pistachio jar that they sell online, and they gave a small jar and filled up with a prefabricated sauce and charged me 10£, when in the website is 8’50£. Disappointed also when I found out that they don’t make the sauces . I was expecting they made it there because it is really expensive. Then I took 2 pistachio doughnuts also for taking away because it wasn’t space inside . And I got them in brown bags instead in at least a box because it was take away. Service not really good neither.

We were ordering online from their website and honestly, Mauro, who was dealing with it to Northern Ireland (and the difficulties that brings) had the most wonderful customer service. Next time we're in London we will definitely make a point of calling into the cafe.

Though it costs £8.50 It’s a giant ice-cream croissant (big than my hand) Taste very good, I choose 2 flavours ice-cream : pistachio & hazelnut together. The texture likes Turkish ice-cream but not too sweet, the sauce is yummy, croissant is full of butter taste and crispy. They also roasted their own coffee beans. Warm service and welcome, will definitely return. Highly recommend. P.S: only have 8 indoor seats.

Fantastic specialty coffee experience, many different varieties of coffee, that helps you to explore differences in flavours and aromas. As well they have an amazing pastry selection with the famous pistachio cream. We tried savoury toasties for lunch, and we have been surprised how good is the quality of ingredients! Would recommend to everyone!
