We ordered 3 set menus and one wine pairing, spent 260£. unfortunately, we were disappointed - not worth for the hype and the price. First, the staff from the beginning didn’t explain accurately about the size of set menu and A La carte. We thought 3 sample menus we will get three plates of original size, but the waiter didn’t tell us that we will actually got 2 plates for 3 sample menus. This should not happen in a sample tasting case. Second, the quality is ordinary. First courses were good starting with the pumpkin soup, bread butter, salmon, which were standard. Nothing surprising. The main course includes halibut, strong fish smell and over cooked. Pork was too salty, didn’t go well with the veggies and sauce. One of the dessert called cheesecake, but we felt it’s just cream. Chocolate was interesting. Third, wine pairing is not great- sparkling, dry white, red were ordinary. The last sweet wine - please avoid it if you have IBS. It didn’t go well with the dessert at all. In terms of the proportion, the last wine bottle was finished when serving us, and it was so obvious that the proportion was too small but the waiter didn’t fill it up. Last, our dinner ended at 8pm and the waiter came to ask us to leave for the next guest 5 mins before 8pm. We know we need to leave at 8pm but they don’t need to come to chase us. This is really not nice especially people paid for the experience. Overall, we didn’t feel the genuine care , food quality didn’t match the price, and it’s clear that they are not ready to deliver a true tasting experience yet. I would not recommend and not returning my self.

Had my 30th birthday dinner at Rogues and couldn’t have had a better evening. The food was exceptional and the staff were so lovely and made the whole evening really special.

My husband and I spent a lot of time deliberating over where to go for our first wedding anniversary. We finally settled on Rogues and we couldn't have been happier with our choice!! We loved the tasting menu and had delicious drinks and wine. The staff were so friendly and it felt like they really loved working there, which made the atmosphere elegant and fun.

We had an exceptional dinner with incredibly attentive service. My water glass never ran dry, which is always a great sign of people paying attention to me. The food was stunning to look at and delicious. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

This was a very enjoyable experience. Staff are professional and friendly. The set menu takes you through a range of different flavours and ingredients. Everything was delicious. Nothing here is boring or bland. It's definitely worth a visit, then you'll want to go back.

My wife and I went for the Monday roast yesterday evening (14/10/24), we would both like to say a massive thank you for the wonderful greeting that we received, followed by excellent service and delicious food. I had high expectations given the hype, but overall, the experience was a mixed bag. Some dishes were enjoyable, but others fell short—especially the final chocolate dessert, which was overly salty and left unfinished. The service was also slow, with long waits between courses, which made the meal feel drawn out to the point where I was almost falling asleep. For a £140+ meal for two, I expected more. On a positive note, I appreciated the handwritten card from the staff acknowledging our special occasion, which added a nice personal touch.

Fantastic and understated. The food is expertly refined and well balanced, with a warm and private ambience matched with an incredible staff that pays attention while allowing you your space. Thrilled with my evening here, will be back again very soon.

We just came back from this amazing restaurant all hyped up! Definitely is a star restaurant. How amazing when all food had a good seasoning and flavour!!! Amazing smooth service and amazing food!!! We were saying that chefs are magician's and the waitress agreed. If I can be very picky desserts wasn’t the strong point, but still a 5 star restaurant. Def recommend. Go go go support this local gem. Well done the whole team!!!

From the moment we were greeted by Catriona, and then being served by Caitlin & Daniel, this place did not miss a single beat. The atmosphere and decor were gorgeous, enhanced by a playlist with absolutely 0 skips. The food was incredible (my friend didn't love her cut of steak, apparently the taste was amazing but the texture was not good. but when she fed that back, it was removed from our bill). I have to say though this was the best service I have received in all of London if not globally, in my life? That feels dramatic but honestly it was just so special, the staff here are aglow with talent, charisma, and kindness. It made me want to work there but also be a regular. I'm only in London a week and plotting ways to get back here again for another immaculate experience. Huge thanks to that truly special team for the beautiful meal ❤️

Incredible service, great wine, very very subpar food. It was one of the most underwhelming experiences I’ve had in a restaurant. Sooo many dishes had mayo based sauces, not enough flavour, not one thing was great. I felt so scammed by these good reviews. For this price, go anywhere in London & take your chances - you’ll be better off.

I ordered a main dish with some type of sausage and “butter bean stew”. The butter beans were quite hard and chalky, which I did not enjoy at all. Conversely, the sausage had a very strong flavor and needed the balance of the beans to be enjoyable. In the end, I was only able to eat half of the dish. I asked the waitress if the beans were supposed to be hard and she checked with the kitchen that said they would be more firm than canned beans because they’re cooked in house. I’m no bean expert but there is a difference between firm and hard/chalky. When I asked for the bill, she said she had applied a discount. I laughed to myself to see it was only 10% off the dish I did not enjoy which amounted to £1.5 off a £50 bill for one. I also had to ask for my water to be refilled a few times and the multiple dishes from the tapas style serving were not cleared while I moved from dish to dish. Not sure how that justifies a 12.5% gratuity.

The food and drink are exceptional. Thoughtful, crafted and delicious. The tasting menu is paced nicely and the best way to get the full experience. The atmosphere is considered and elevated without being too stuffy. It feels welcoming. The best part about our two visits in two days were the hospitality. Everyone from manager, bar tender and waiter was super friendly and accommodating. On our last day in London we even ran into the manager in the street and got a honk/wave. 100% will go back next time we’re in town.

You know what I usually love the most about sort of fine dining places? Bread and butter 😂 in Rogues not only bread and butter were excellent but the whole experience. Super accommodating friendly stuff and amazing food. We ordered quite a lot of food, but if you are 3, Id probably recommend main 4 plates and all starters and youll be good! They have a great selection of wines too and staff that knows a lot about each bottle. The restaurant has a cozy inviting atmosphere, dimmed lighting and Id say its good for both a date night or a dinner with friends, like we did.

If anyone was to ask what my favourite London restaurant was, I would not hesitate to say Rogues. I've been back a number of times, and every time we have a wonderful experience. There's some little touches that really show they put you first, for example sanitary products in the toilets (you don't see that often). The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their menus. Speaking of the menus, every time I go back there's something new and exciting on there. The set menu is always a great way to dive in. They have a great wine selection too and really know their stuff. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations. This time we went for a birthday, and I was presented with a signed birthday card from the Rogues team. I have to say in my opinion there's not many restaurants that I've been to that have such nice ambience, where the staff treat you with such warmth and serve you such great food and wine. Thank you Rogues for another wonderful experience, keep doing what you're doing. We'll come by again for sure!

I dined here last night with some girlfriends and it was exceptional! One of our friends was late joining us, but we were never made to feel rushed or asked how long it would be until she arrived. We went for the tasting menu which was really generous and every dish was beautifully presented and equally as delicious. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and the perfect level of attentive. Thank you and I'll absolutely be back!

Fantastic food and service. One of the best meals I’ve had in London and very good value for the quality. Very affordable wine list comparatively to similar restaurants - many glasses under £10 and bottles under £40. Will definitely be coming back!

Had such a wonderful meal here last night for my boyfriend’s birthday. The atmosphere was incredible, the food was incredible and they even wrote him a birthday card which was such a special touch. The potato sourdough was so good, and so was the shoelace courgette and ricotta and radicchio. Highly recommend! We had a lovely Australian waitress who I’ve forgotten the name of but she was wonderful. Can’t wait to try the sandwiches

Alright food, not worth the price

Very nice discovery, the place is very beautiful and offers very good quality dishes. The discovery menu offers several dishes to share which are all very different from each other. I can only recommend.

The food was all good and the service was great. It was similar to a lot of other east London small plates restaurants in the sense that I wasn’t blown away but very much enjoyed the meal!

Affordable and impressive tasting menu & matching wine. Menu is created weekly depending on what the chefs source in the market. Service from Caitlin & Daniel was warm, genuine & enthusiastic - it's so nice to be looked after by people who care about creating memorable experiences. General vibes in the restaurant were immaculate. There was a wine from Israel, which he checked if we were okay with before pouring, which was very thoughtful (wine was a delicious syrah blend, not to be missed). The whole team seemed assured in what they were talking about, confident in the quality of their product, and passionate about sharing it with us. Honestly, one of my favourite dining experiences in a very long time, I will be raving about Rogues for the foreseeable

Good, interesting food, but disappointed that 4 people choosing the tasting menu were given some courses on plates / in bowls to share - not ideal, or easy. We opted for wine pairing - unfortunately some of the wines arrived way ahead of the food. Two of the wines left a bad taste in the mouth, for different reasons : the orange wine, and the Israeli wine.

We went to Rogues on Friday for their Greek night and it was wonderful from start to finish. Daniel from Theatre of Wine and Dani who looked after us were both incredible. Get yourself down, unreal in every way!!!

Went here for dinner last night for my bfs bday and it was unreal. Food was so good and the staff were extremely sound. Will probs recommend this place to absolutely everyone from now on

Almost all dishes were sublime, however we ordered a ‘wagyu’ beef dish which was so chewy it was inedible - we wouldn’t accept this in any restaurant and it was nothing like Wagyu I’ve had before. Wagyu is supposed to be buttery but this was the absolute opposite. We told the staff and were offered half off (the dish was around £26 for about 6 small pieces), not because it was bad quality but because we ‘didn’t like it’ which was a shame. This put a dampener on the meal which otherwise was amazing.

Had a lovely celebration meal with 2 of my friends. We all had the tasting menu, each one of us had quite different dietary requirements and the team was so lovely accommodating them all. Every dish was phenomenal, the tasting menu is also very filling and is not cheap but reasonably priced. Would be back!

Pricey but good! Our servers were really great, and the food was delicious! They catered to our pescetarian, vegetarian, and vegan diets which was a bonus :) I left feeling full, but also do think it’s a bit overpriced

Food was decent overall, apart from the first dish, which didn't really work. Service was prompt, but as other reviews have mentioned, it feels like the food is prepared and not made fresh and just repeated. I had two glasses of wine and both were very good. What I didn't like though and why I wouldn't return, is that they charge you for tap water. They offered me still or sparkling and I said just tap water please. I was told that it was filtered and could choose either. There was no mention that they charge you for it and it felt very deceitful. It wasn't much, but it is just the principle. The dishes aren't cheap and they charge you a service charge, which I'm fine with, so not sure why they feel the need to charge for water and the first time that I've ever been charged for tap water in a British restaurant.

First of all service was really good! Which saved our experience as the food was not up to scratch. I think I’d give 3.5 if I could, but ultimately the food was disappointing. The flavours were there in some of the dishes but the fish & pork were both over cooked & the pastry was burnt for the dessert. Standouts for me were (weirdly) the cold pea soup & also the asparagus. The set menu for £60 is actually not bad value for London.

Wonderful experience - Rogues is a fantastic restaurant! Ambience: charming and unpretentious Staff: excellent - there was a complication regarding timing/dates but the staff took it in stride. Service and sommelier were great. Food: high quality ingredients, creative and complex with and exciting/off-piste wining pairing. Value: Pricy but delivered value for money.

First ate here when they were just a pop-up across the street, and it was sooo delicious, and now it’s a restaurant. And somehow it’s even more delicious!!! When in East London, you should definitely go (and it’s certainly worth it coming over from West London too.)

We had some issues with our reservation (which was of no fault of the restaurant) and the lovely manager on the door worked something out and gave us our preferred spots by the bar. Top notch hospitality which followed through the rest of the evening! Favourite dishes from the tasting menu: small bites, halibut, bread and butter! Wines were quirky and delicious, and you could feel the sommelier put his heart and soul to procuring them! Can’t ask for a better evening!
