The best restaurants in East of England

We regularly visit here for breakfast and it is always packed- very popular with the locals. The food is delicious and chefs are happy to adapt to your tastes e.g. crispy bacon. Lots of choice on the menu.

We attended the restaurant yesterday evening, there was a large number of us, which proved no problem for East. The food spectacular, and the service and ALL the staff were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend

Came on here to look at reviews of H&H cafe as we are planning to visit tomorrow and have never actually been in all the years we have lived in the area. Absolutely shocked by the bad reviews of H&H kebabs! All i can say is we have been ordering kebabs from here for over 9 years and they are absolutely spot on and delicious every single time! Never have i ever had a bad delivery! Food is delicious, staff are friendly and always deliver what we ask for! I wouldn’t want to order anywhere else! We order at least 3 to 4 times a month x

Best cafe around by far. We go here every weekend as a family of 4. Food is always nice, good service, very clean and well priced.

I've been to sweet tea several times since moving to sawston and I love it. The people that work there are super friendly, I'm moving out of sawston soon but I'll be back just to go to sweet tea, particularly enjoy their breakfasts which are great value as well as quality

Visited several times. Always a good experience. Chill ambience. Friendly, helpful staff. Tasty, freshly made food. May be the best coffee I've had locally. Freshly ground. (Had 2 cups.) Today we ate bowl of fresh leek and potato soup (Todays soup. Need to check flavour on the day) with croutons and baguette. Avocado and halloumi on sourdough with red onion, tomatoes, rocket and chilli jam. All presented attractively and very tasty. Previously had other dishes - all good. Also, really allergy aware for those that need it.

Staff not interested in you at all. Cheap interior and decor. Shame as food was ok. Expensive for what you get especially seen as it’s in Peterborough.

Great staff and service. Value for money and great quality. Will definitely come back. We are x cafe and restaurant/ pub owners so know what makes a great experience.

Bought a voucher for someone. They had a lovely meal and there was £15 left for a tip. They were told they couldn’t use it as a tip. They were not offered anything else for the £15 so lost it. They then had to leave a tip. We used to go regular but not going anymore 😞

Same old Costa , like it or leave it,just went for coffee

Came across this place on my journey I stopped for a coffee and when I entered I saw a halal sign so I ended up eating there too , food was really nice and fresh portion was really good especially for the price , service was amazing all the customers that’s were there were so nice and relaxed too , very clean and tidy too can not fault this place at all I will definitely stop there again when I come to or through clacton . 10 out of 10 for everything 🥰

Jerk chicken with rice and peas, insane flavours! Loved every bite of it!!!

Another first class takeaway from the team at Nindy’s. It was a big order for a family party, but it was to the usual high standard, and prepared very efficiently. The cod is always of an excellent quality. Thankyou!
