Cafe 128 in Tendring

Came across this place on my journey I stopped for a coffee and when I entered I saw a halal sign so I ended up eating there too , food was really nice and fresh portion was really good especially for the price , service was amazing all the customers that’s were there were so nice and relaxed too , very clean and tidy too can not fault this place at all I will definitely stop there again when I come to or through clacton . 10 out of 10 for everything 🥰

Went here with the family as it stated it was halal,was met with the most hospitable owners I've ever met, they made us feel so welcomed. The food was made to perfection, and everything was cooked fresh. I would really recommend this place to everyone as it has something for everyone.

If you are on the look for a halal place to eat in Clacton, look no further. Delicious all day breakfast at reasonable price. Their hot sauce was amazing, must try. Super friendly waiter and owners.

This truly is a hidden gem and I am so happy me and my friends visited during our staycation in clackton. The cafe is extremely clean, customer service is excellent, and the food is perhaps one of the best tasting, freshest, and best value for money full English breakfasts I have ever had (I am comparing this to some very well known and popular cafes in London). The whole menu is 100% halal (see the photos) and the staff and owners are extremely friendly and hospitable. I would genuinely consider travelling all the way to clackton just to eat here again. Amazing and definitely a cafe that everyone should stop by if they’re coming to/passing through Clackton! 10/10 👌

Well what can I say ...... I thought I would try cafe 128 out Because I had heard everyone was raving about the place since it's been opened. Well I wasn't disappointed 👍 I ordered the double smash burger meal with chips and a can of coke all for £12 UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I haven't had a burger like this since I lived in London and I've been here over 20yrs, it was sooooooo flavoursome. The salad was lovely fresh and crisp and the tomatoes were decent really tasty as for the chips they were to die for, The staff are so friendly and polite as well🥰 Now as for the actual burger It set my taste buds alive It was so juicy and tender & well seasoned honestly guys get down to cafe 128 they have such a great Verity of food give it a try you won't regret it. Top marks all across the board 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 ❤️Highly recommended ❤️ Sue 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Absolutely disgusting and shocking I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. The egg was the smallest ever and the bacon was turkey rashers. When I rang to complain they said they are Muslim so don’t do bacon but they never said or advertise that. Don’t even bother going there

Being an international student , you rarely feel comfort with anyone. The managers made me feel like home , far away from home with added benefits of amazing food. The place became my comfort zone at times of extreme hunger or maybe have some snacks. Wide range of menu to choose from and you can never get bored of it. I really wish such amazing people to grow and move forward. If you are reading this , thankyou soo much for all u did to me. You helped me more then you think Thankyou

My parents have been here and they absolutely loved it. They had the chicken burger and fish and chips. The staff were very lovely, and it's very rare that you find a nice halal cafe in beaches around the UK which was really nice as they were able to enjoy a nice hearty meal

A nice friendly down 2 earth NORMAL cafe as we used 2 have bk in my day.. Very clean, super seating & excellent food service & prices.. Defo recommended..

They are charging more compared to the menu prices and saying we updated our menu. I don't recommend going there.

What can I say about proprietors Gary and Aysha, absolutely first class service, nothing was too much effort and they even made us welcome to stay beyond their closing time until we'd finished our meet up. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cafe 128 and we will most definitely be returning. First class old school service from truly wonderful people 👌🏼

The manager of this cafe/furniture shop is very unprofessional. She is awful to her staff and thinks she is god! The kitchen at cafe 128 is disgusting and needs to be shut down! Steer clear.

Amazing owners and customer service

Been here 3 times this week today I had 2 bowls home made soup my son had hot choc marsh mallows and cream, the food is to die for

One of the best Tiramisu we ever had, delicious beef burger, friendly customer service, very reasonable pricing, family environment, clean cafe, Halal available, would definitely recommend. Best in the town!

I had a great experience here today. The staff are very friendly, they have a wide variety on the menu. The cafe is very clean, bright and welcoming with plenty of space between tables. The food is delicious with good size portions and i did not leave hungry or unsatisfied. This will be my new regular and it's a short walk for lunch breaks when working from home. Please note: food is halal and no pork products as other reviews have "mentioned?". This is clearly stated on the menu, and if you're not sure then ask. Highly recommended as long as you aren't set on pork products. A new cafe trying to make a start in this difficult economy. Please give them a try. I don't think you will be sorry.

Went here after picking son up from school. He is very fussy but he absolutely loves the chips. He said best chips he has ever tasted. I had chicken burger and chips great taste and value a big meal for the price. The chocolate milkshakes are so good. Will be back soon.

How can a greasy spoon cafe not do proper bacon? Turkey bacon just isn't the same didn't realize till it was to late and the food was in font of me so won't be back ☹️

Tried various foods here, had the Buenos milkshake was amazing. The home made lasagne was delicious. Brill atmosphere! Pop in to cafe 128 !!

Just finished work on Saturday it was getting late we went past cafe 128 it was open had some lovely food and milkshakes so glad this cafe stays open late definitely coming back
