Beautiful food! Was temped by Kam to try a new dish being trialled for the new menu, chicken naga sally. Definitely Sally Up from us! Tender chicken in a naga style sauce with rosti style potato on top, it’s going to be a favourite on the new menu! Thank you Kam for the recommendation!

Excellent food and service tonight. Delicious well cooked chicken and lamb dishes. The restaurant is much bigger inside than it appeared from outside. We will definitely return. Two mains, rice & a naan, a large wine and a beer £40

We were driving to Maldon and looking for a good Sunday roast on google. We chose this one from the good reviews. I have to say that the location isn’t the best, but our meals were superb! One of the best roasts ever -succulent meat, fresh veg, homemade yorkshires and we finished with apple crumbles. Lovely friendly service - we would love to go back.

Booked as a venue for my sister's 40th birthday at fairly short notice for 14 guests. Discussed requirements with Nicki over the phone regarding food/dietary requirements and opted for a cold buffet. She was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially when on the night there ended up being more people than booked for. She offered suitable suggestions to make sure everybody was catered for and we just paid the extra at the end of the evening. A lovely place, good food, and friendly service.

Nice little chippy! Chips weren't the best today, but there were plenty of them. Medium chips, a pie (a PUKKA PIE, no less!), and battered sausage were plenty to feed two, and just over a tenner.

Wonderful place with excellent food - wine as well, very welcoming and pet friendly- can’t wait to go back again. Book in advance if you can it’s that popular!

Really lovely authentic Italian restaurant. Staff were lovely and the food delicious but….. it’s not cheap! If you have 3 courses you get a free limoncello. IMO I think everyone should be offered this. For example we couldn’t eat 3 courses but we did have starters, mains and drinks and our bill was still £75!! So a small freebie would have been lovely.

13/10/24 Sunday roast for 8 people. Delicious and plentiful portions. Yummy deserts too. Great atmosphere as always and friendly staff. Exceptional value for money.Would highly recommend. 2023 Ian and Dawn recently hosted a wake for my late father. It was his wish for the celebration to be held in his favourite pub. We were not disappointed. Great hospitality and food. All of the little extras we requested to personalise the day were executed without any problem or hesitation. Thank you for making it such a special goodbye.

We went to the pub for Sunday roast with family.The roast beef is tender, but roast potato was bit hard and coldish, maybe it was busy yesterday.And the portion was bit small for the price.The soup with the bread , it was disappointed the bread cold and pre butter.

What a fabulous Restaurant, stunning location in the wonderful City of Ely, wonderful diverse menu, food that could not be faulted, all served by truly lovely staff who really make this restaurant 5 star.

WOW …What a find … great food choices . But just needed a coffee and coffee cake before going to the beach. Lovely friendly staff …Fantastic to know they have staff with learning difficulties who were so polite friendly and even gave my dog a treat . It will be my regular from now on . Many thanks

Go here almost weekly, haven't found a better breakfast in town, all traditional and non greasy the large is a must and still at a very reasonable price. The other food is also very good and good value for the portion size. We don't eat anywhere else in town now as all the others we've tried are not as good.
