What a lovely charity cafe offering opportunities to those with learning disabilities. And dog friendly too! We were welcomed as soon as we entered. Our dogs were then offered a biscuit which they loved. We ordered jacket potatoes and paninis plus coffee. We didn’t manage cake but they offered a good selection including home made options. The food was lovely as was the service. It was clear while we were there that they have a lot of very happy regular customers and I’m not surprised.

Never been in before, and I don’t know why🤷🏼♀️, but I will definitely be back again! Just came with my little girl today and she was a little grumpy from being dragged away from the iPad 🙄, but after being greeted by the friendly staff and tasting her favourite cake - lemon drizzle, she was smiling! I had the best pot of tea ever and the most delicious gluten free fruit scone, so moist😋. Need to try the gluten free sausage rolls next time. Will recommend this cafe to others ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I first discovered this cafe in 2018. The service remains as friendly as ever. I paid £3.10 for a pot of tea and a piece of flajack on Oct 27, 2022. I liked the system of ordering by ticking a laminated menu - it helps to minimise the risk of misunderstandings. Look forward to my next visit.

Our second visit. Greeted at the door with a friendly welcome and our order was taken. The drinks and tea cakes were delivered quickly - the tea cakes were delicious - not your big standard tea cake. All the staff were included, busy and encouraged whether that be sorting cutlery, serving customers or making the homemade cakes. Reasonable prices and excellent and friendly service!

It is wonderful to support people with learning disabilities through supportive delevopment opportunites, growing and building confidence and the 'can do' attitude of those serving is a real pleasure to see. We love this cafe for it's great food (cakes are out of this world amazing!), service and relaxed ambience. We visited this cafe on our last day in Cromer we had been up for the weekend to visit animal sanctuaries. We were staying b and b so we popped along in the afternoon before going home to Brighton. I wasn't hungry then and so I picked a walnut and date scone to take home (my husband didn't want to be left out so he took another fruity scone to take home too) Well I have never had such a smashing scone and want to say thank you to Rachel who made them, no wonder she has got a diploma for her skills. We happened to come across this place while looking for a 'coffee stop'. It's a place run by people with learning difficulties. There were quite a few people already in there and from conversations we overheard they were 'regulars'. We were given a paper menu and a pencil to mark down what we wanted to order. A young deaf lady brought our coffee and cakes with a smile, anoter young man was happy to tell anybody that would listed that it was his birthday that day. He was a very courteous young man who cleared tables diligently, spoke very politely and held the door open for us and wished us a good day as we left. The prices are very reasonable and the cakes and coffee were good. If in the area it's worth dropping in as the lunch menu looked good too.

Used to go here when it was the Blue Danube so thought we would give it a try despite being a bit put off by the name. It suggested to me that it might be just a charity attempting to be a café and relying on the goodwill of patrons to be - well, patronising - and feel obliged to say "well done dears !" irrespective of what was provided. My fears were unfounded, a charity it might be, but first and foremost it provides good food at fair prices and service second to none - it's a joy !

Unfortunately, the crab salad I was looking forward was sold out but substituted this with a Ploughman's Salad. This is not for the faint hearted as the portions were very generous; you need to be hungry to do justice to the portions - two wedges of cheddar and two of brie as well as pickled onions, salad, a mango chutney dip, warm bread rolls and butter. The staff are competent, obliging and very friendly. The atmosphere in the cafe is calm and relaxed and there is certainly no hurry to get you out for the more customers to occupy the tables. Really good food and beverages and the stated purpose underlying the cafe makes it a highly deserving case for good patronage. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely cafe with a very relaxed, friendly, atmosphere. All the staff are extremely friendly and offer a warm welcome. The ethos of the cafe is brilliant - "creating opportunities and providing support for people with learning disabilities to live the life they choose." There are also hand made products to buy to raise funds for the charity, I purchased a handmade candle for £2.99 and a handmade sail boat made using reclaimed wood from Cromer pier for £3.The food was lovely, I had the standard breakfast (2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, beans, either tea or coffee and a slice of toast), my partner had the hearty breakfast (2 sausages, 2 bacon, 2 eggs, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, either tea or coffee and 2 slices of toast), fantastic value. Would highly recommend and would go back again.

The breakfast was delicious! We had the mushroom medley and the full English, both were great and I’m sure we will be back again to enjoy them again! The staff were lovey and friendly and very attentive. The perfect birthday breakfast treat

The food was very good well cooked and presented, we had to wait for a while before our order was placed, however it's a busy local pub which caters for holiday makers also so this could have been the reason for the wait. Cheerful and pleasant staff, I would certainly eat there again.

We were staying locally and ate here a couple of times, each visit was excellent. Staff are lovely and the food is delicious. Each visit my husband had the pie of the day (once S&K and then Beef Bourguignon) both exceptional. I had lemon chicken skewer and them ham, egg and chips. The portions are generous. Well kept beer as well.

Been here before as we are fairly local and it was good. But this time terrible and very expensive we had roast pork with apple sauce, stuffing and crackling. Meat was mostly really Fatty and baguette was filled mostly with stuffing best bit was the crackling. At £8 each I expect far better just ripping off the holiday makers. Don’t think we will be going again. It was barely warm so back to the pie man at sheringham for us.
