Sea World in St Albans

Nice little chippy! Chips weren't the best today, but there were plenty of them. Medium chips, a pie (a PUKKA PIE, no less!), and battered sausage were plenty to feed two, and just over a tenner.

I've known the guy there since I could walk and eat solid food, I have a better relationship with him than I do with my own parents. Also the food is so cheap I've got no idea how they're making money. Even if you don't have money, pop in there for a second because it smells divine.

First time and thoroughly impressed. Will be back!

Really great kebabs, generous portions and quick service. The French Fries are also really delicious. Just be warned that they only take cash.

Don't take card. Instruct you to go to the Coop down the road to get cash. We had an order for 10 people. Everybody agreed it wasn't the best Chippy we've had. Chips Were bland. Probably won't be coming back.

Amazing food! I've been a loyal customer here for many years. The top spot in St. Albans for delicious doner kebab. Staff are extremely kind and friendly.

Very abrupt staff 4 of them stood behind counter looking at me and talking kebab meat dry aked for lots of salt and vinegar seemed like it was a big problem only eating food. Because am hungry

Bought Fish & Chips ( Haddock or Cod) and various Kebabs ( primarily chicken ) most weeks for years. Always very friendly, fast service and great food. Never once in 15+ years have I had a bad experience. In my opinion it continues to be the best fish and kebab bar in the area. The only downside of such good service is my wife and I have eaten far to many 😊. Oh also the place is kept immaculate (5 Star raiting) Overall great friendly family run business and thumbs up all the way.

Chips good cod was dry and very very greasy. Service walked in got ignore another walks in after and got served first This day and age expect to take cards but cash only rare So mixed review but may give it another chance in the future

There are 3 fish & chip shops in the area and Sea World comes 4th. The food is nice, portion size too small & price too high. London prices in How Wood don't fit.

I’ve just got food from this establishment and the cost did not match up to the price listing available. Apparently this is because prices change monthly???????? So be careful what you order as the cost is much higher than displayed. Also I had a chicken kebab wich contained TWO pieces of chicken!!!!! TWO!!!!! I phoned to complain and was basically told I was a liar and I must have been to a different shop. What a joke. Stay away

Went on a lunch time so chips must have sat there was dry and only warm had fish asked for thin batter it had no taste and wasn't cooked properly as batter was wet inside and very expensive must say had chicken kebabs there before and it was lovely

£3.20 for around 20chips! Not good value at all. Salt and vinegar tasted bland on the chips: not my cuppa tea!

Such a shame most chip shops don't use fresh oil for frying

I worked next door to Sea world for mainly years and far too regularly got my lunch from there, the food is always delicious, hot and really fresh, they do a fab burger and their kebabs are superb, I highly recommend this place.

I bought haddock and chips here on Tuesday. The price was shockingly expensive, they only take cash, and the fish was certainly not haddock, but a poor quality substitute. I would not visit again.

I've always enjoyed the food from here but their prices have steadily crept up and its no longer good value. £12 for a kebab is ridiculous it just doesn't cost that much I have found fish portion sizes vary enormously from one day to the next. But the fish and chips is great; again become a bit pricey though.

This is fish and chips at its best, fish is cooked to order when required and chips that are cooked in clean fat. The prices are very fair for the quality of the food presented. The staff are friendly, polite and welcoming.
