Rosanna’s in St Albans

Superb pasta and excellent cocktails. A really nicely decorated establishment with very attentive staff. Always a nice experience. They also do great brunch.

My friends and I went for brunch, and I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! The food was fabulous, the service friendly and professional, and the ambience was relaxed and friendly. Please go!

We came for lunch after the restaurants recent re-opening (due to Covid). We’ve missed this place so much. Salvatore and Rosanna are so welcoming, and the food is amazing! Probably the best fresh, filled pasta I have ever had. We had a couple of pasta dishes – wild boar tortelloni and deconstructed lasagne with aubergine. The food was very fresh and delicious. Would seriously recommend!!

Had a delicious lunch for two. Lots of lovely dishes even on the reduced menu and the service was very friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back soon to try out some more dishes.

Lovely food and service; great to go to an excellent independent restaurant in Harpenden. All the pasta is homemade and care and attention has been paid to the preparation and cooking. Small menu ensures the food is cooked fresh for every diner. definitely will go back!

This is the perfect little comfy spot for a coffee and brunch! The coffee is absolutely delicious and the Sicilian breakfast muffin was amazing! There are cakes on a counter downstairs, I will definitely be going back to try those next time! Our waiter was so lovely and friendly as well, I would definitely recommend here. We were told when paying that they’re going to be opening for dinner shortly, can’t wait!

Delicious food and coffee, lovely atmosphere and super friendly service. An absolute pleasure. All the food was freshly prepared and used high quality ingredients carefully prepared. The coffee was strong and aromatic. The stack of pancakes was better than any I have ever eaten (even in America). After just one visit this has become our favourite place for brunch.

Rosanna's is Sicilian which adds that extra dimension to coffee & food as Sicilians are very discerning represented by Inspector Moltabano's exquisite taste in food, wine & ladies. I had multiple cappuccinos, campari & soda, plus the avocado & tuna salad which was wonderful. They make their own pasta dishes.This has become my culinary go-to place in Harpenden as Salvo is also such a great host.

Never having been to this restaurant I popped in for a mid morning coffee. Not a big place and the wobbly table did not inspire confidence. Young staff while friendly were a little unsure and did not seem very knowledgeable with regards to the menu. I am sure it will improve with time. Will return to check out menus.

We went for the school Christmas party. The Venue was elegantly decorated. The Table looked luxurious and welcoming. the service was beyound great. The food came warm and fresh. Excellent all round and we had a great group deal too so excellent value for money. Real excellent service.

Don’t get this place at all. They do great brunch, but they rigidly stop serving these at midday (paninis included) so that after 12, you have to have something from their lunch menu - all heavy pastas/ main meals. Doesn’t seem to be what people want at all - two tables actually left when we were in there as they couldn’t get what they wanted at 1:30. Surely lunchtime is the perfect time to be serving paninis!? Even brunch at the weekend? Very strange decision. Hope they change it as the brunch food is good, as are the sandwiches. Nice staff too.
