The best restaurants in Halesworth Waveney East of England

Really sweet cafe with very friendly staff and lots of lovely choices on the menu. We went for the toasted sandwiches on granary bread with goats cheese/chutney & cheddar/chilli jam, both excellent. They came with portions of salad coleslaw & crips. Fruit scone went down well, and coffees were excellent too We will definitely look to return when next in Halesworth.

Came here for a breakfast, was served promptly and politely. Food was tasty, even better they serve sausages from archers so your know you’re getting quality for your money 👌 10/10 will be visiting again.

We stayed on a dinner b & b tarrif. The food was excellent and the owner and staff very friendly. However we were surprised that the room was not serviced each day, and it was not mentioned anywhere. On arrival 3pm we had no English tea bags in the room, and had to wait till 6pm for them! The bathroom toilet was not cleaned and on closer inspection the room was not properly cleaned. Breakfast was lovely but no offer of fruit juice, toast, marmalade etc. To sum up, great food, friendly staff but the general care of the room and surroundings was very poor.

One of the best dinners I've had in ages, anywhere. Lovely food, well served, very reasonable price. Definitely on the revisit list

Just left the Rajputh after the most amazing meal. The food was absolutely stunning. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Halesworth are fortunate to have such a good Indian restaurant. Next time in Suffolk we will be back

The best place to watch the world cup!!

An excellent restaurant in a small village. The lady who looked after us was welcoming and the food was enjoyable. No problem getting a booking as it is big inside.

A lovely place to stay. Wonderful staff. Large, clean room. Breakfast was excellent. The Italian restaurant looked good.

Service was very good food was not good just finished starters and main was bought out it had been stitting under pig lights and was cold chef could be bothered some nice pub but we must of hit a bad night

Black Dog is a real gem in Halesworth! The food is consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a real pleasure to dine there. The atmosphere is buzzing and we love their coffee, sausage rolls and sweet treats! Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the sea bream fillet with mussels & white wine cream sauce. Plus, a variety of freshly cooked vegetables. The taste of it was divine. Service was excellent. Coffee, a good flavour. Thank you.

Had a take away from here which was delicious! Very friendly, very tasty food and good sized portions. I had the Naga Chilli Chicken which was just the right amount of heat and taste. Very much recommend!
