The best restaurants in Halesworth Waveney East of England

Great coffee, best sausage roll and friendly service and atmosphere. I will definitely go back and try out their scones and other homemade goodies.

We stayed on a dinner b & b tarrif. The food was excellent and the owner and staff very friendly. However we were surprised that the room was not serviced each day, and it was not mentioned anywhere. On arrival 3pm we had no English tea bags in the room, and had to wait till 6pm for them! The bathroom toilet was not cleaned and on closer inspection the room was not properly cleaned. Breakfast was lovely but no offer of fruit juice, toast, marmalade etc. To sum up, great food, friendly staff but the general care of the room and surroundings was very poor.

Came here for a breakfast, was served promptly and politely. Food was tasty, even better they serve sausages from archers so your know you’re getting quality for your money 👌 10/10 will be visiting again.

Picked someone up from here back in 2022 and been getting parking fine letters ever since. Now I am getting threatened by the courts to pay a stupid parking fine. I know it’s not you lot directly but why would you put a company in charge of your car park that do this to people…… £300 to pick up a paying customer of yours.

We had a takeaway from here tonight. We have been meaning to try it for years and it didn’t disappoint! Very tasty food! No reheated meals and MSG here. If you want tasty, fresh food then this hits the spot! Looking forward to going back for more soon.

After returning to the UK after a reasonable absence and getting some terrible customer service - the staff at The Angel were a refreshing change and lovely to chat with. Rooms are good - maybe a little expensive but not enough o mark them down and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect location!

I really enjoyed the sea bream fillet with mussels & white wine cream sauce. Plus, a variety of freshly cooked vegetables. The taste of it was divine. Service was excellent. Coffee, a good flavour. Thank you.

Service was very good food was not good just finished starters and main was bought out it had been stitting under pig lights and was cold chef could be bothered some nice pub but we must of hit a bad night

Black Dog is a real gem in Halesworth! The food is consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The staff are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a real pleasure to dine there. The atmosphere is buzzing and we love their coffee, sausage rolls and sweet treats! Highly recommend!

Just left the Rajputh after the most amazing meal. The food was absolutely stunning. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Halesworth are fortunate to have such a good Indian restaurant. Next time in Suffolk we will be back

Not the best Indian although pleasant owners. The food colours of our dishes were very false looking and not authentic as most Indian restaurants. Literal Red tikka masala and Yellow Korma . The side order portions were very small , ie rice and veg. It was a shame, not really worth the price but pleasant atmosphere .
