Just been in to Rhubarb and Rose, the staff are super friendly with a warm, welcoming and friendly vibe to the place. The cinnamon Bun was to die for and the coffee was the icing on top. A lovely little cafe I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic friendly service always. Such lovely people. Best coffee in town in a lovely large cup, always super hot. The homemade cheese scones with chilli jam are to die for. I am very fussy as i make my own. But these are superlight and tasty always. Great cooking, must try more.

This place is just what Halesworth needs - a really friendly and homely place with good quality food and drinks at a fair price. All too often places are spoiled by staff shouting 'chai latte' and 'skinny latte with a splash of oat milk' seemingly for effect - this doesn't happen here ... just good honest, friendly service. And the good news ... it's just expanded into the neighbouring premises.

This is a lovely coffee and cake shop, I visit here weekly. The best coffee In Town in my opinion. And the raspberry flap jack is to die for. Great customer service always friendly and polite. If in Halesworth it’s a must place to visit x

We arrived in Halesworth and needed a coffee. Spotted this as we came out of the car park. Made very welcome and had a wonderful scone. Looked round the town and returned for lunch. We shared a ham sandwich and small salad which was more than enough for us as both in our 80s. Really appreciated the service and care. Hope they can make a good living. Thankyou

We came upon Halesworth by accident (seeking a chemist), also Rhubarb and Rose. I can not recommend them highly enough. yes the tea is good and the cakes are excellent. The people are wonderful, thank you so much for your caring, concern and alertness. You treated my wife (who has dementia) with dignity care and concern. you have no idea how much your actions were appreciated. I wish we could visit everyday

A truly delightful light lunch for my children and I. Fresh toasties and home made pasties. We could choose to sit in or out and we're made to feel very welcome. Tip. They don't have toilets so don't nip jn if you need a wee.

Our cycling club visited Rhubarb & Rose at the weekend for the mid-ride cafe stop and what a treat it was! Everything was beautifully presented and all home made to a really high standard. I highly recommend the shortcake with ice cream… It’s not the biggest place so any more than a group of 4 or so might have trouble finding a seat, but well worth waiting for if you value friendly service and great British baking 😁

My partner and I went for a light lunch and some drinks. We had two ham and cheese toasties, flat white and a white hot chocolate. Everything was we'll priced and very very tasty. The service was amazing. Rosie (owner) was very kind and attentive. We will definitely be back! They also have some really nice plants!!

What a truly fabulous old fashioned pub with very welcoming landlady Anni and her customers, especially Janet and Peter, when we joined in Quingo yesterday afternoon. It was thrilling to win the picture quiz. The room was warm and cosy due to its great wood burner stove. The complimentary sandwiches were an added bonus! Thank you so much for the welcome and will join you all again in the New Year.

Honestly this place was quite average. Had heard good things about the food but we were quite disappointed. The calamari was chewy in places and the pepperoni pizza looked and tasted like a frozen pizza (harsh but truth). I ordered a dish off the specials which was listed as chicken alfredo. I feel as though they definitely should specify on the menu that this is NOT pasta and that it is in fact chicken in a mushroom sauce with potatoes. It tasted fine but nothing to rave home about. We were a little disappointed as we were seated in the snug at the front which was cramped and draughty. The staff were pleasant enough, no complaints there. Unfortunately wouldn’t return.
