The Angel Hotel (Book Direct For Best Rates) in Waveney

After returning to the UK after a reasonable absence and getting some terrible customer service - the staff at The Angel were a refreshing change and lovely to chat with. Rooms are good - maybe a little expensive but not enough o mark them down and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect location!

We are what you might call occasional regulars at Cleone’s. The authentically Italian food is always excellent in quality and value, and the service efficient and friendly. Booking is advisable to be sure of a table

Poor customer service. Servers saw us but were rude and didn't greet us. Didn't show us a table or a menu. Left immediately.

Evening meal at the angel. Went for the wednesday special of two meals and 2 wines for £29 which was nice and also had a couple of deserts on top. A good selection on the menu. Dog friendly. Ate in the conservatory, which is nice inside and covered within the building complex.

Cleone's is a great restaurant with great food and staff! Its our favourite place for a special occasion - er, or any occasion! Just wish it was a little nearer! 😀

Had an absolutely wonderful stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very accommodating and attentive. The rooms were so clean and the bathrooms sparkling. Found the beds extremely comfortable and had a splendid couple of nights sleep. Although my room was situated above the patio area of the bar and there was general pub noise it wasn’t too intrusive and certainly didn’t go on into the early hours. Closing time and all was quiet. The food was amazing and portion sizes just right. I don’t usually leave reviews but The Angel Hotel certainly went above and beyond to make my weekend stay a happy, comfortable and stress free experience. Thank you to ALL the staff, especially the fabulous Evie and Amelia!!

I stayed at the angel for 3 nights wish I had booked 5. A team of staff with all the same warmth n welcome stay. Bieng Ex drinker it was so nice to sleep watch TV without hearing the customers below enjoying as they should. Best pot tea in Suffolk. Thank you for a splendid stay. We ate at the restaurant only (didn't stay in thy hotel) and the food was wonderful

Italian restaurant inside was lovely. Drinks and food a great price and the cocktails were amazing! Has a warm cozy atmosphere and our waitress was very lovely and welcoming, will be definitely revisiting

cleones restaurant is very good. Staff is very friendly. Nice vegetarian food options and also they can make as per need. If you are around visit this place. Hotel is also good. Nice rooms.

It's the only place to sip an ale in Halesworth. It's got a nice little snug bar round the back where you can enjoy a well served pint of Adnams Ghost Ship. I've not eaten or stayed here, but I can only imagine it's done to the same high standards

Had a nice lunch, didn't think portion size was adequate, but very nice, Had the linguini.

While visiting family in the area we enjoyed our stay at The Angel. Very friendly staff who looked after our needs well. Great food.
