Amazing food! We have visited several times and are never disappointed. Lovely food, great customer service and super attention to detail... they really care. One of our favourite takeaways in Beccles and a perfect choice for a birthday meal. Thank you! We will be back!

We treated ourselves to Burger night, and the Old Dairy did not disappoint! It’s so easy for restaurants to promote burgers and burger nights, but the quality of the meat and bread really made this stand out, it was absolutely delicious! I requested a non brioche bun as preference, which can be a risk... but the bread was amazing. The halloumi fries as a side were a must... We were nicely stuffed afterwards, but none of the food felt greasy... all super fresh and incredibly tasty, best Burgers in Suffolk! The staff are lovely too, looking forward to trying more of the summer menu and eating in when we can all finally do so.

Our second takeaway and great service as before. Tried the vegan curry for the first time, very tasty. Hopefully some vegan sweet treats on the menu soon!

We had a takeaway for 6 of us, we all very much enjoyed our food which was made of very high quality produce. Great service and friendly staff

Ordered online through their easy to use website. Was able to customise the order and even when I phone a few hours before picking the food up they were happy to make changes and couldn’t have been more polite. We had the mushroom and Brie chicken burger (both amazing!!!) and loads of sides....the halloumi fries were my favourite, whilst my wife said the loaded fries were the best she’d ever had. Caught a glimpse of the cakes this place offers and will definitely be sampling them next time as well.

Gourmet burgers very reasonably priced. Delicious. All the staff very friendly and accommodating. Mr Porkys was like 2 meals in 1! Superb.

Ordered last minute before they close and was happy to still take our order. Second time we have ordered now. The food is amazing. The service is quick. If you have a sweet tooth 100% get the cheesecake cookie. Highly advise for a treat.

Been here this morning for takeaway breakfast Babs and they are great , going to try the takeaway breakfast next week. Freshly cooked local produce and great staff brilliant find and am now glad I am working in beccles for a few weeks . So go support them during lockdown and you won't be disappointed .

We visited for a takeaway after hearing great reviews from friends and we weren’t disappointed. The kids meals were generous portions sizes and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely coffee and cakes too. Highly recommend.

I absolutely loved the breakfast. I come every Saturday and now part if my weekly routine. The bacon is to due for.

Done some work in the restaurant while it was closed and was greeted with a warm friendly welcome and fantastic food had an delicious bacon roll and a unbelievable burger which I will be coming back for more! cooked fresh with great ingredients definitely not to miss

The Old Dairy has become our favorite takeaway during Covid. We've ordered dinners many times (those gourmet burgers- wow!) and breakfast. We've always enjoyed the food and it's so nice to have well prepared meals that I don't have to cook! Meal portions are very generous, but be sure to save room for their delicious cakes! Can't wait to dine in, such a cute spot!

Oh my gosh the food and service here is amazing. Passing by on our walk we stopped for a COVID friendly takeout lunch. The burgers are freshly made and soooo delicious and to finish with millionaire shortbread was out of this world. The whole family enjoyed it. We can’t wait to go back and try the other delights, it definitely will be my regular stop.

I have yet to try something that I don't love! I live nearby, and make a point to visit frequently for my coffee run. I equally recommend their coffees, cakes and takeaway meals! As an American, I didn't expect to find such high quality burgers in this area, but the ones at the Old Dairy taste just like home (if not better!). It's a must try for anyone visiting Beccles.

Okay it is so so cute and the food is SO GOOD!!! I'm a sucker for cakes, cookies, etc. and their cookie dough brownies were amazing. Great place for breakfast too!!

Had an amazing burger... unreal.. tasty and massive. Unfortunately due to Covid we couldn't eat in but definetly going to book a table one evening.

Called in to grab a coffee and came away with a lovely slice of cake also. Will definitely be coming back to try more from the menu.

I can’t rate the the Old Diary enough! Lovely cakes and great coffee. We had a takeaway burger meal at the weekend too and it was delicious. Would highly recommend treating yourself.

Lovely cafe, friendly staff serving a variety of fresh home cooked food. The burgers are amazing, all cooked to order. Look our for their Saturday night burger nights! The Oreo cake is out of this World! 100% recommend this cafe.

Have used Ronies for many years for lunches and breakfasts.Never disappointed.Looking forward to getting back there as soon as we able.

My partner says the lunches are great! I myself have only had breakfasts. I like this place, clean,very pleasant, good food, nice people. Here is my gripe, the breakfasts are lovely but they use Seppings sausages, and state on the menu that they are Sepping sausages. Some years ago i would have said that stating what they were was an asset but not now. They are pappy, mushy. Shame really because the flavour of them are tasty as is the rest of the breakfast.

Good food fair prices excellent service. Cafe is not in centre of town but if you head to back of town centre car park you will find it. Always busy good idea to reserve a table if you are going for lunch.

Whenever you go to Ronies you get good service and good food. Being popular it gets very busy but you can ring up and book a table

I have been to Ronnie’s a few times now and each visit we have been greeted warmly and had a lovely meal. They really look after you in there and has such a nice feel. Such a lovely cafe in a lovely area

So pleased we stumbled across this place in search of a good breakfast. Service was attentive and we were well looked after. The food was tremendously tasty and very good value. The griddled eggs and local sausage we both beautifully prepared and of high quality. We will definitely be back when we are visiting our friends in Beccles.

We sat at the table the waitress saw us come in and then went a chatted to someone else, she looked over saw we had finished looking at the menu, friends of hers came in she chatted with them and then proceeded to take there order, so we got up and left.

We went for a drive and ended up in Beccles, it was a really hot day so we wanted a snack and a drink, we went to "Twyfords" but I looked at the menu and a sausage ciabatta was £12, so I decided to find somewhere else.We had a wander and found Ronies, it looked a bit plain from the outside but quite smart on the inside, plus it looked clean.I ended up have a "Brunch" and my wife had an cheese & mushroom omelette.The omelette was lovely, quite large and very tasty .My brunch was mostly good, chips, beans very good, bacon cooked extra crispy just for me, lovely, but I think while the chef was cooking the bacon crispy she took her eye off the sausages & fried eggs, well overcooked, eggs hard and sausages very dry.Shame, as the service was really good, the coffee, excellent, the omelette great, and the prices fair.Just a overcooked here & there.I would still recommend this place though, I'm sure it was just a blip.Give it a go and see for yourself.

We have been eating in Ronies most weeks for the last couple of years. The food is good basic English food, generous helpings and good value. We are vegetarian and there is always something for us. The staff are very friendly and you can always strike up a conversation with other customers. It is very popular with locals, so best to book as they get very busy.

We had two breakfasts which we’re absolutely terrible with my meal I had undercooked pork sausages and over cooked eggs but on the side was a rather nice looking hair embedded in my beans we also ordered mushroom which had an old chip mixed with it when we told the waitress her attitude was far from satisfactory we decided to leave never to return

Three of us visited for lunch, one of whom is vegetarian. There was a good choice with daily specials on the board. We each had something different and all enjoyed our choice. The food was tasty with generous portions and service was attentive.

Good selection of home cooked food at reasonable prices. Had a delicious lasagne whilst my husband enjoyed gluten free salmon & dill fishcakes. Generous portions, helpful & friendly staff, in homely surroundings. Will visit again.

We had another visit to this clean, pleasant and tidy restaurant/cafe. This is a favourite of ours in Beccles as it’s always of a good consistent standard! There is a good selection of light lunches, sandwiches etc as well as daily specials which include more substantial meals too !

We often go to beccles but not been to ronies cafe before. After seeing it and reading reviews on trip advisor we called to see if they accepted well behaved dogs which they fortuneately did. We all had different meals and all were very good and home cooked. Service friendly and quick and very reasonable prices. We will be back.

Went in here for lunch. Food choice is great and the meal the 4 of us had was very good. Id recommend this establishment to anyone.

Good home cooked food with 'daily specials'. The takeaway which is attached has a great range of sandwiches and salads to choose from. All very well priced

Run by a lovely lady with a great work ethic and who cares for her customers, particularly the elder regulars.

Great place for breakfast, haven't yet been for lunch but we will. The service is always friendly and caring which, combined with the food, is a perfect combination. A good start for a spot of shopping in Beccles which has an excellent selection of delicatessen and other local food shops when compared with larger local towns.

Delightful cafe with charming service and excellent food. Great value for money. Will certainly eat there again soon.

Clean, tidy, great staff and tasty food. Spot on. Only one negative for me, like a lot of cafes and eateries in and around Beccles they state on their menu's "Seppings sausages". Well I love Seppings food, but the sausages just seem to be mushy these days. Not firm and meaty, just mushy. Shame that.

What a delightful cafe this is ! We went in for lunch and they were busy with several tables reserved but they managed to fit us in as we said we just wanted a light lunch, very pleased with the level of service, the venue is clean and well presented, we did not use the toilet facilities so cannot comment on these.

Visited for Saturday morning breakfast, restaurant as usual pretty full but service and food still excellent. Sauasages from local butcher 'Seppings' hard to beat. Value for money good and coffee far better than the usual Coffee Chains. Highly recommended

Ronies cafe has a certain charm and fits into the community well. It serves food like your Nan would, plentiful and pleasantly simple. They serve a good cup of coffee and are child friendly. It is always packed at peak times and isn't huge, but...

Clean establishment with prompt and very polite service. Two breakfasts ordered and both came within 15 minutes from ordering and piping hot. Very pleasant and best in Beccles.

Mi esposa y yo fuimos el sábado pasado, la cafetería/restaurante estaba bastante lleno con la mayoría de las mesas reservadas para llevar así aunque todavía podrían ser utilizados para el desayuno. El servicio era genial, ambos dejaron fuera uno de los elementos del menú de desayuno, pero nos dieron temas añadidos como reemplazantes. La calidad era muy buena e incluía salchicha de la cerca también carnicerías Seppings, difícil de superar. La próxima vez probaremos el almuerzo o quizás ambas. Relación calidad-precio fue excelente

A menudo me trae mi madre anciana aquí para un almuerzo es una excelente opción y siempre está lleno, mejor reservar! Siempre hay varias ofertas de comida caliente, recién hecho y una selección de sándwiches, chaquetas ollas y otras opciones de tentempié el almuerzo. Siempre grasientos, personal muy atento y amable. Ideal para personas mayores ya que todo se encuentra en planta baja y comida tradicional y sana, mi madre no sabía qué era un panini!

Sadly these establishments are few and far between. Traditional English restaurant selling Traditional English food, at decent prices, with staff that are happy to be there.The portions are enormous, so if you are a new customer I advise you ask for their "small portions" if you would like to experience their puddings!!Surprisingly their tea and coffee are also excellent. Proper coffee from beans on display.DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS TREAT IF YOU VISIT BECCLES (you may have to reserve a table and return later, its very popular !!!)

6 walking friends having our annual Christmas walk dinner as usual the food was superb and the staff were all very nice .It was busy as usual a very popular vnue.

Stopped by to have lunch whilst visiting Beccles, and so pleased we did. Firstly, the staff are very friendly, and the cafe spotlessly clean. We ordered the home made pie of the day. It was absolutely delicious, served with potatoes and four fresh vegetables. The food was piping hot, and generous portion sizes. We would have liked to try a dessert, but were full to busting! Highly recommended.

Come across this lovely cafe whilst visiting beccles for the afternoon. I'm glad we walked in! It's a tidy little cafe with nice table and chairs (no dodgy table cloths) there was about 4 tables reserved so it looked like it proved popular, great sign. The menu was very good plenty of choices and a good special board was also available. We chose from the daily specials. All the food is freshly prepared and piping hot. (Served on hot plates) Also the service was very good and efficient even though the place seemed to fill up just after we went in the cafe the service is still good and not slow. Excellent cafe!5 stars :)

I can see why this cafe is so popular! The food is great and so are the prices. The service was second to none. Best coffee in town and all of the food is home cooked. It's just outside the main part of town but well worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

My wife and I,went for lunch with a friend at Ronies. We all enjoyed the food,which was plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.Be sure to leave room for a sweet,all home made.

You really need to book as this is so popular, especially by the locals, The food tastes like home made.. such a comfortable surrounding, staff so friendly and great prices.

Went for coffee, teacake very nice, plenty of butter, lovely coffee. My daughter had a delicious bacon butty. All for a very good price.

Ronies is a popular cafe in the market town and offers great breakfasts with quality ingredients and an excellent and varied lunch menu. It does of course offer refreshments and a lovely choice of cakes and savoty dishes. Well worth a look.

Looking for somewhere for lunch on a visit to Beccles we stumbled upon Ronies (It`s slightly off the town centre ). It looked busy which is always a good sign so we went in. The service was very good in spite of being almost full and the food was first class. I had beef and ale pudding, the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I would have loved a dessert but the generous portions of the first course put paid to that.Definately down for a return visit.

Called in whilst visiting the area. It was very busy at lunchtime and some of the tables were reserved, so try to get there early. The cafe was spotlessly clean and the staff really friendly. We only had sandwiches but they were very good and the prices very reasonable.Would definitely recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised when I visited Ronie's with my Dad last week, as I think it's been done up within the last few years, and looked really nice! Was very busy too which was a good sign.Service was a little slow, but that could be excused by the fact it was relatively busy at the time. Food is averagely priced for small cafe at lunch time, with desserts a little expensive.The food itself however wasn't the best. I had a bacon burger with chips which was nice but nothing special, and my Dad had toad in the hole which wasn't too enjoyable. Even though we swear by Seppings sausages, they tasted a little spicy and the mash wasn't great either. Overall, a lovely little place which I'm sure is very popular amongst locals and people visiting Beccles for a meal, but there are other places in the region which are better choices for food!

Sadly this sort of Reastaurant is in decline, a very traditional English Restaurant that serves REAL traditional food, served by REAL sincere pleasant staff.Such traditional food as Toad in the hole (which I had) with "proper" sausages and not the cheap tasteless catering sausages we are so used to, being served up, the portions were so large that sadly I could not try the Hummingbird cake that I had spotted on the way in !

If your in Beccles and want a nice cosy warmSetting to sit down and enjoy a nice home cooked - locally souced hot breakfast this is the place to come ! Cannot rate it highly enough - latte is super scrummmy to ! Me and hubby left completely full up ! We will definitely return x

We stumbled across Ronie's one day and now we go every week. Have lunch before heading into Beccles to do some shopping then to Tesco's for the main shop of the week. The food is well cooked and the portions are very good. The meat is from a local butcher, the cakes look yummy, the puds are always delicious. Whatever we have is always moreish. Home cooked style menu and home cooked food is what you get. The waitresses are always friendly and stay forever which says a lot about the atmosphere behind the scenes. We always book for the following week as we know how busy it is on a Monday and on a Tuesday if we vary our shopping day.One downside: it closes at 3:00p.m. but if you want a great breakfast, lunch, or a cuppa and a cake then you cannot do better.

Excellent value for money for simple well prepared and presented lunches, morning coffees and afternoon teas.

This is a gem of a place, always consistent good local home cooked food with the same level of service.Nearly always have to book, so that tells you everything.Keep the high standards up, more need to follow Ronies example.

Been in here several times recently. We are hooked now. We already knew the breakfasts were great, but the lunches are amazing. Friendly and attentive staff, good service and the food is simply fantastic. Good old home cooking like it is supposed to be. Pies to die for, roasts you will struggle to get through and the liver and bacon is wonderful. The portion sizes are very generous, you will not require anything to eat all day. The puddings are great too if you can squeeze one in.Thanks to all at Ronies, we will be back very soon.

Went to Ronnies for lunch whilst in the UK. The food was excellent, service perfect and the place was spotlessly clean. Only downside is that it can get a little bit cramped and noisy at peak periods but a minor grumble considering everything else rates a 5 star!

Tried Ronies for breakfast at the weekend. The cafe was very clean and the food of a very high quality including wonderful Seppings sausage one of the best in the area.The food was great value having regard to its quality which is why I notified 'Tripadvisor' about the place for the 1st time.
