We called into Chinney's for lunch whilst travelling through Halesworth, we found happy welcoming staff with the added bonus of being able to sit at the outside tables with our dog. The lady behind the bar immediately brought a bowl of water for our pooch. Really enjoyed the all day breakfast and felt the menu was very reasonably priced. Will definitely go again.

Great bar, loads of space and plenty of tables inside with an outside beer garden also. Pool tables, darts and live sports on screens. Very friendly staff and great welcoming service. Great choice of food and specials. Loved the burger options👍 function room to hire also for kids parties ect ect.

Awesome place to go to loads and loads of space Great for a social meetup or a local as they're separate rooms for separate areas darts pool sports parking large meals snacks or just chill and drinks they've got it all definitely recommend

Sports,beer,food & beer garden, lovely breakfast, not tried other things on menu but will do at some point, friendly staff & always smiling, plenty indoors seating aswell as outside, free parking and plenty of it, if you in the area go have a look for yourself. 🍻👌🏻

Looking to find a pub showing 6 nations rugby we were pointed to Chinnys. Great find, good atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks, great staff. So impressed we had dinner here, very good food as well ! A lucky find. Sadly England lost to Scotland, oh well.

Great place for breakfast or a bite to eat (good burgers too). Friendly bar and obviously buzzing on the big sports events. Free parking and a range of facilities makes this all you could want from a local sports bar.

Good place to play pool and a good place for a date. Only problem is the parking system and it's easy to get caught out. You need to enter your reg on a machine and it isn't easy to see

After a leisurely 9 holes around the local golf course we sought a spot of lunch and lite bite in a nearby establishment…. Preferably somewhere we could also watch the day’s football fixtures: We entered Chinnies with some trepidation, passing a crowd of vape puffing locals seemingly unused to seeing strangers. But we needn’t have been worried, We we’re greeted by a gabble of friendly pint pouring bar maidens and a hearty menu of traditional meals and light snacks. After a round of beers, my companions and I tucked into a delightful meal of jacket potato’s and hotdogs and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in a friendly and low key atmosphere in front of the telly. By the time we left, as we’re thoroughly ingratiated to both the Staff and Chinnies other patrons and, had we not had evening. Plans at the mucky duck that evening, would surely have stayed for the delights of tha evenings Haloween party.

Service and drinks where good and cheap had a good time playing pool with my mates

I had lunch here on 26th August and received a £100 parking fine for my trouble. They were very helpful to provide me with lunch as I entered the building at about 13.57 had my quick lunch and left at 14.08 !!!! The length of time is irrelevant, I was your customer, I paid you for a beer(1) and I paid for lunch and you reward me with a fine. Disgusting.

My daughter dropped off our son to play pool at Chinny’s a few weeks ago with his friends and pulled into the car park. They waited a few minutes for his friends to arrive. She then left. We have just received a parking demand for a £100. She didn’t leave the car and saw no notices. A scam by another name. Disgusted!

A great place to watch the football and have a cheap pint and a basic pub meal. Friendly staff. Had a few games of darts. Pool and snooker available too.

Always a good atmosphere. Sports bar, lots of TVs with a range of games presented. Service could be quicker but given with a smile.

Friendly staff. I always feel welcome and comfortable to pop in with my children during the day. Big bar, always clean. I have deducted a star because it would be nice to see a change in the vegetarian options of their food.

The staff, service, atmosphere and value for money is great but ... spare a thought for those of us who like coming in but don’t or can’t always eat burgers etc. Chinnys is rightly famed for its “American” menu but a larger selection of salads or non-fried food would be very helpful to those who struggle to find anything else. We like going in but are a bit limited for food.

I cannot imagine a more exceptionally welcoming, comfortable place than Chinny’s. Everyone is great and normal. Happy to help. Always a pleasure to drop in for their delicious food and reasonably priced drinks. A real refuge for all but particularly for our local young people who love it. Long may Chinny’s continue to thrive serving all ages and all tastes.

Awful!! My partner and i paid £14.50 each to attend The Specials Ltd gig tonight.We have left the venue though because the band are not allowed to play until after the boxing has finished. This was not advertised any where, we paid to watch the band, not boxing. We can not stay late due to commitments and as the boxing is still on the gig wont finish until very late. We are both dissatisfied and disappointed, we wont be booking any more tickets at Chinny's.

This is a large Bar with a Pool room where weekly competitions are held and other sports that is lovely for the locals.. We went for something to eat and my Son wanted to play pool.. The food was freshly done but quick and very nice. The also have live musuc on the weekends in another large room.. If you live round here it must be lovely having this on your doorstep.. I was here last year and went weekly with my Son and they gave me a bar staff T-shirt when I left..!!

Was good apart from some lowe life riped radiador of wall in lady's felt sorry for girl who's party it was.

Seven of us meet up and we were well looked after and the breakfasts were great. Liked by all. Thank you to all. We will return.

As I passed through this wonderful town, my tummy was hungry, my feelings were down. I trawled the streets and began to wonder, will anywhere stop my insatiable hunger. To chinneys I pranced, and walked inside, for drinks or food, oh they will provide. My drink to the right, my big plate in front, I pray that I didn't look like a big greedy.... Pig. The food was divine, the service was too, so come up to chinneys, I implore you.

Great beer and great food. That's the two most important things. But always a great atmosphere in Chinnys. Very friendly place.

Thursday is steak and rib night at Chinnys. Excellent value. A real plateful! Quite a big area, don't expect a romantic setting, but good service. Coped well with our table of six. Good night out.

The bar man was friendly but his son was extremely rude and aggresive, when he cleared our table I merely commented that throwing away unused sauces (in unopened packets) was not particularly environmentally friendly and also wasteful (there we're several packets), his response was very aggressive "you got a problem with that" ...muttered something rude and walked off!! Some customer service training wouldn't be a bad idea!!

What a brilliant place - not only a sports bar but they do great food and loads of other entertainment and events - ie coffee morning, bingo as well as showing all sporting events on TV, loads of dart boards pool tables and snooker. Everything for any age.

Came here to watch the football, Massive football screen. Great staff very friendly and welcoming. Good prices didn’t eat but the food coming out looked delicious. Plenty of dartboards up and pool. Wish we had a bar like this at home.
