Stopped for a takeaway while on holiday. Only had to wait 20 mins and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area.

What a wonderful meal we had. Every dish had a distinct flavour and was cooked to perfection. The service was amazing and we had such a great time. I highly recommend it. Delicious food in a beautiful restaurant.

Absolutely terrible, Chicken Tikka Masala was very bland , cold with no flavour whatsoever sauce was watery and Pillau rice watery liquid and bland, Tandoori chicken was just painted red for visual effects no flavour or hint of spices, absolutely terrible, Saag Aloo was bland bland bland! And the same for the so called Special Rice, it was special alright once again totally bland no flavours whatsoever and as for the garlic naan bread, it was burnt black with no hint of garlic and stone cold. I thought India was the spice capital of the world? Perhaps you could tell this lot in Halesworth, a complete waste of £74.00 for disgusting food. Definitely won’t be going there again.

First meal here for some time and it won't be the last. Lovely food and lots of it. Service was also very attentive.

Food. Class. Service. Seemed understaffed on busy Saturday night. Paid a fortune. But we didn't just get a curry with rice. Class. But if you're hungry dont expect to only spend £30.

Great food nice guys defo worth the money

A very kind and warm atmosphere, these chaps know how to make a curry. Perfect use of spice and flavour. My Dhansak was delicious. We went out as a group of 7, and all had a variety of things to eat. But I don't think there were any complaints from any of us (which is unusual)! The restaurant is clean, and perfectly presented in ethnically correct decor. Overall, very impressed with the meal, the atmosphere, and the customer care presented to us

Not overly impressed, was really happy it reopened, but the food was pretty underwhelming and it took forever to get the bill with two bored children jumping around. They perhaps needed more staff to deal with the takeaway queue and the seated customers, the takeaways seemed to be prioritised. Won't be rushing back unfortunately and I love Indian food.

* NEW OWNERS * The new guys are totally great, having come from a takeaway only business to running a restaurant. They've done incredibly well and cleaned the place right up since reopening only a few months ago. What we had to eat was the best Indian we've had in a long time, very tasty, just the right level of spice. Definitely going back again.

Well cooked Indian food. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great Tandoori chef, Chicken Tikka and Naan bread were top notch! Real shame I live 5 hours away or else I'd be back as a regular!

Recently reopened under new management after refurbishment. Food has been excellent and reasonably priced. Not much atmosphere but we tend to go early evening. Sure it will get livelier as people get to know it. Plenty of tables and cosy booths. All round a very good experience. An absolute pleasure to have a very good curry house in Halesworth.

Same name but new ownership brings the much needed re-opening of an Indian in Halesworth. We were delighted to try a new accompaniment for poppadoms - a delicious tamarind chutney with all the right notes of sweet, sour and heat. I could easily have eaten this all to myself, but felt obliged to share! Our food was superb and piping hot with unobtrusive friendly service. We will definitely eat there again, or use the takeaway. Happy to recommend.

Was looking forward to going back after closure but very disappointed. Long wait for drinks and then did not get what ordered, food was not great, had to ask again for my cheese nan, by the time it came l had eaten half my meal, and then they tried to charge us someone else's bill. Won't be rushing back.

Would get more custom if they delivered!!! by the time i get home in Holton the food is not that hot

The best curry house this side of Bangladesh - for fifteen years this has been my go to place for every occasion. Dine in has been closed since covid but their food does travel well. Would give it 10 stars if I could.

Food was okay, nothing to much to rave about, also felt the chips was very poor.

We had a takeaway from here whilst staying nearby on holiday. Not many Indian restaurants in the area, but fortunately this was really tasty and everyone loved their curries!

Bought £45 worth, ate some of it we now feel extremely ill other half has been sick and I feel woosey, no flavor, no heat, naan is rank. Never again starters were small and tasteless. Would have been better off going to tesco for a micro curry and boil in bag rice. DEVISTATED.

I've only ever had takeaway, so can't comment on waiting staff, but the food is good and the chaps working inside are always courteous and presentable. Only thing I'd say is that the Pilau Rice is a bit underwhelming (I cook plain rice at home now), but the curry is nearly always excellent. Nan bread isn't super greasy like some places, and their Sag Aloo is delicious. ** Edit, August 2019... Had their Sag Aloo a few days ago and it was not good! Potato was way over cooked!! Maybe hit and miss?? The curries I bought were top notch though, as usual :) **

Absolutely disgusting, we are on holiday and nipped in to pick up a takeaway. One lamb passanda, one chicken tikka rogan josh one pilau rice and two naan breads . Having got home and having to reheat because it was cold, the food was bland with added extra of a black hair. Absolutely ruined our evening.

Got takeaway from here today the korma was like it had been dunked in washing up water the naan breads where like eating raw dough balls and had to wait an hour for a waste of money and food

From the moment I walked in I felt like an intruder. Abruptly sat down at the table and the waiter said "Drinks". That was that. Smacked the order pad on the bar in a hump because i wasnt ready to order. And the is the best bit very funny. The food was a dreadful. What a nightmare. No one asked if it was alright. Very disappointed.

Good food. Friendly courteous service too (including putting a heater next to our booth to make sure we were warm enough). Prices are reasonable.
