The best restaurants in Central Watford East of England

Saturday afternoon, two persons with no reservation for dinner. The food was really good especially when you’re looking for an healthy food around the area, would definitely recommend and would definitely be ordering and exploring their menu

Had a great experience at Watford Dosa. The food had a very authentic taste and the service was pretty good. Value for money.

Took an hour and a half to arrive and (eventually) turned up stone cold. And never received the drink. Never again.

Been coming here for quite a few years during the day. Their refurbished look is really nice. The staff are all friendly. The food is always excellent. Portions generous & the prices are reasonable. Will have to come one evening to try too. Highly recommended.

Visited today for an early dinner as we had a Watford Town gift card that was about to expire. We previously had no end of problems with this gift card but the manager Khalid (I hope that’s correct!) went above & beyond to help us sort it out so that we could use it against our meal. He made phone calls, he sat down with us, he really went out of his way to get it sorted for us, all whilst remaining exceptionally polite, calm and friendly. We ordered the mixed grill to share as we didn’t want too much food (having been several times before, we knew the portions were generous!) and the food was absolutely delicious as always. Highly recommend anyone that is a fan of Turkish food to visit this restaurant. We will be back early January to celebrate my birthday.

Came here excited, as the reviews on here and other sites have been really good. Perhaps my hopes were set too high. Firstly the ambiance is on the lively side, I get it, it’s a Friday night but the generic cut and paste house music being blasted out at 7pm is not acceptable. Weirdly the volume kept getting turned down and then turned back up, like the staff were responding to different customers demands. A couple next to me left because to was too loud. The food and drink is overpriced sadly. I know this is supposed to be a fancy option in Watford but rates for cocktails (solid at best) and wine were not reflected in the quality of the beverage. I had the bavette steak with house fries. No steak knife offered which is essential for the bavette style. Needed a steak knife. It was not a great piece of meat and paying £26 for the larger portion felt a stretch. Small portion of fries too. However the chimichurri was a highlight. Then a small dessert followed by a coffee. In total it came to £71 which just felt insane considering that I was still hungry and the meat had been mediocre. Normally the food snob in would avoid a place that does grill, sushi and tapas. It can’t do all 3 well and this place is very much fur coat sans knickers.

Jason and Shane are just wonderfully happy people . Tony is an absolute legend! Always is such a top chap. I was made to feel so welcome after my beak up from my previous marriage. They helped me with my financial difficulties and let me sofa surf while I got myself on my feet. I must say that £4.95 is a bloody virtual price for a plate of chips. But all round, fantastic place for a pizza and a good laugh.

Love, love the food served by K’s Kitchen! Feels like home. We tried the nasi lemak, kuey teow and chicken varuval. Great portions, prices and flavour. Highly recommend!

Easy to order accurate delivery tracker and quality food all contributed to a great experience. I’ll be ordering again many more times that’s for sure.
