The best restaurants in Central Watford East of England

Fantastic fresh food! I had the Isikander chicken shish which was amazing! Butter with tomato and chicken shish, such a brilliant combination. Very filling. The service was excellent from the young ladies tending to customers. The salad that they served was amazing also. I found out that they put pomegranate juice on the salad with lemon and olive oil to give it an amazing kick. will be trying this at home. The food here is halal.

This place was 10/10, I did not order in store but I ordered from Deliveroo and I had to come and leave another review. This is the tastiest Caribbean food that I’ve had in Watford and I’ve lived here for 20 years. In fact, it’s probably the best I’ve had anywhere in years. The flavours were amazing, you can tell the jerk chicken came straight off the jerk pan, it was so flavourful, the rice and peas was rich in coconut, the macaroni could’ve had a bit more flavour, but when you eat everything together, you can’t even notice. The portion size was massive, it could easily feed two people. I also got a Jamaican dumpling on the side and it was so, so good, it was soft, sweet, and pillowy. I will recommend this place to everyone if you want a good Caribbean dish.

I went today at 8/01/2024,I went as a friend had told me about how helpful the owners are with people who are struggling with the basics like food and it took a lot of courage to ask for help.However when I arrived and I arrived in the specified time I was not even able to explain why I was there when I was just told were closed and the person then completely ignored me,I know I'm not entitled to hand outs this is a service which they do not have to provide however because I came to use the service does not mean I am not entitled to be treated how they would like to be treated and from what my friend told me they were the most caring empathetic people who work there but this was not what I found I understand people can have a bad day but it made me feel embarrassed and ashamed that I had come.

Love, love the food served by K’s Kitchen! Feels like home. We tried the nasi lemak, kuey teow and chicken varuval. Great portions, prices and flavour. Highly recommend!

Various menu and almost every meal and drink can be customized. Definately recommend it.

Terrible waiting time, almost waited for 90 minutes for a prawn tempura roll!! It is terrible. Wasted my weekend on waiting a tempura roll. And the tempura roll is not good, the tempura is cold, the rice is loose, I don't know what I am waiting for. Terrible experience, never visit again.

It was a really good experience with la Pinoz Watford and their ambience and service were too good. their garlic bread was a unique attraction for us they are reasonable as well, worth to try

I usually go to Wenzel's before going to work. I usually grab a Ham and Cheese Baguette and a Butter Croissant. The bread is decent and there are a thousand options when it comes to light snacks and food.

Fancied a sandwich midday and popped in first time I've used them. The sandwich was great very fresh and bread was divine enjoyed it so much went back next morning for a sandwich for my train home. Again top quality and fresh and the service was friendly and helpful so I will use again when back down in Watford.

We have become regulated regulars now. We couldn't recommend this restaurant enough. The food is great, fabulous staff and friendly atmosphere. Good wait time for food. Attentive staff especially Shini who was lovely and super efficient!
