Ks kitchen in Watford

Love, love the food served by K’s Kitchen! Feels like home. We tried the nasi lemak, kuey teow and chicken varuval. Great portions, prices and flavour. Highly recommend!

There were two Indian staff (who arent the owners) who were tending the shop. I asked some questions about whether they were Malaysians, and one of them replied snarkily and sarcastically "Oh no I am from Hong Kong" followed by "who else could serve Malaysian food, of course only Malaysians can serve Malaysian food". I then asked about the layer cakes as a Sarawakian, but the lady was really passive aggressive in answering. I havent tried the food so I won't comment on that, but the Indian lady was just rude.

Great little place, very authentic, reasonable price. Prawns are proper big ones and tasted fresh. Noodles got alot of flavours, slightly on spicy side but can ask to reduce.

Great little corner of Malaysia right in Watford, the crab curry was excellent, can't wait to return and try more authentic Malaysian delicious foods! Staff were polite and informative about the dishes.

Tried the banana leaf meal. Very tasty food. Definitely worth more visits to try the other dishes.

Been a regular-every fortnight for the past 3 months or so, I think. Great food, brings back memories of home! The banana leaf meals are great, huge portions. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu over the course of my visits. Love the chicken varuval, and my favourite meal is the nasi lemak with prawn sambal. I hope K (amini) will move to a bigger restaurant location and offer more mouth watering dishes! Never managed to take photos, as I dig in automatically as soon as the food is set I front of me!

They've just started, some stuff on the menu not available, but we had fish curry and mutton set dishes. Was actually very good.

Had a sea food fried rice there I don't know the Malaysian name of it but I can say that its one of the best authentic Malaysian taste I had and the working staff is really friendly and nice

We had a banana leaf meal which is the best option for vegetarians, the whole meal deal is definitely worth a try . and also the best nasi goreng I had ever tried, owner seemed very friendly and the surroundings are nice
