The best restaurants in Rickmansworth Three Rivers East of England

The food here was amazing from start to finish, and the service was excellent. Some of the finest Italian food i have ever had. The spaghetti bolognese was perfect, not tart or acidic. Excellent meal, would very highly recommend. We ate there twice in one week.

We visited on Saturday evening and pre booked. The restaurant is lovely inside, and the menu has lots of choices, and as a vegetarian, I was spoilt. The service was excellent and food was first class. We would definitely recommend and return. The lady was very good when we went to leave a tip and she pointed out its a 12.5 % service charge.

Great burgers, honestly very well cooked and tasted great. Large chips were tiny, it was a small portion and didnt feel value for money.

We had the best Italian meal here outside of Italy never mind Rickmansworth. It was a delight from start to finish. Authentic Italian cooking from an Italian chef in a family run trattoria. We were welcomed into that family for the evening and only wish we lived closer to be able go all the time. But next time we're in the area we'll certainly be there. We might even make a special trip. It's worth it!

Lisa was really helpful and friendly and nothing was too much whilst trying to organise my dads 70th birthday party!! The venue is brilliant for parties and my dad had the best time, so thank you to Lisa and the team x

They have just done the place up and there is a great atmosphere. The service was excellent with attention to detail and speed. The food was excellent - fresh and well cooked. I had the Sea Bass which was picked from a variety of specials. A brilliant place if you are going to the local theatre or staying round the corner. They deserve the business.... Thanks Maurizio

The food is 4* or more however a family dinner at a restaurant needs more than the food On Friday evening the Maitre D' was in a very obvious sour mood, his manner towards staff and ourselves as customers was abrupt, a bit intimidating and almost discourteous. I had suggested The Shish as our venue because it has good reviews. Really disappointed by the bullying tone of the maitre d'. I felt embarassed by the atmosphere that this created for our family visitors. A large non-itemized bill was presented at the end of the meal. The maitre d' seemed very put out when I requested an itemized bill. More than £20.00 had been 'automatically' added in service charges! The young lad who was serving was polite and helpful, but this was completely clouded by his line manager's impatient and hectoring stance towards his team and our family- his customers. Upsetting, and we won't be coming back.

What can I say but the food was cold and the chicken satay was bloody awful as was the pad Thai and green curry was even worse. The bill for the three of us was £71 which was disgusting. Avoid at all cost and don't believe all the other reviews as obviously paid for and not real . As a five year old child could put a meal together better

I want to thank The Feathers for helping me throw a surprise 70th birthday for my mum last Saturday. I had the most amazing experience. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make the night special. We hired out the wing which is beautifully decorated, cosy and was everything you could ask for in a birthday venue. The staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Mum was absolutely over the moon, and so were all our guests. They have been talking non stop since about how amazing the night was. Thankyou again, I can't wait for the next event.
