House special fried rice. Chose the veggie option. No veg, 75% rice. No flavor, no color. Not even a slice of onion.......next... king prawn chow mean, dry. Shrimp rock hard and stunk. Long black hair in first bite. After last bite the wife ran to the crapper woth diarrhea. Stay away!!! Poison

We were there singing for the charity. The Pier was a great watering hole. Go there you will love it

Facilities and staff excellent. A beautiful natural location encompasses this splendid hotel.

Excellent short stay at the Crown. Accommodation very comfortable clean and tidy. Good value for money. Food was very tasty and well presented. Libby the manager was very welcoming and professional. Staff were very helpful especially Charlotte. Definitely be back. Steve and Sue Griffiths.

Delivered 30 minutes later than orginally stated, took 1 hour 30 minutes total, food was cold, instead of a cheese nan was given a normal nan, chips were soggy and overal the food didnt taste very good. Very disappointed.

We did enjoy the bowling the only downfall is how expensive it costs us just for 1 game instead of playing more game time so that's why they are a 2 star instead of 5.

Stayed for 3 nights from 22nd Oct 2024. At first we were at room 115 - the room had a leaking shower splashing water all over toilet. They moved us from a family room to a smaller room - 125 🤔. The room was stinking and full of dust. The room key was not working and had to go to downstairs reception at least 10 times in 3 days 🤯. The staff never said a ‘sorry’. The only positive factor was the chef who was polite and was always ensuring to fill the breakfast buffet. Overall very bad experience 👎

Didn't have food in pub but there's a great chippy round the corner service in pub was good most punters in the pub were locals good people 👍

Had a chicken curry,, and bread and butter pudding, both very tasty and plentiful,, lovel seroundings, good car park.

Food was terrible definitely not fresh food. Such a shame when you go out for dinner and the whole experience is so bad. Hopefully we don’t get food poisoning from the rubbery funny tasting prawns.

DO NOT USE!! We emailed this restaurant & called them directly to allow them the opportunity to respond & rectify, so there would be no would be no need to leave a bad review, unfortunately not even the decency of a reply! Terrible customer service!! We ordered (£40) food for delivery at 6.30pm for an 8pm delivery.. 1.5hrs notice and we paid £5.50 delivery charge! The food did not arrive at 8pm, we called, was advised would be 20mins, 30mins later, we called again, apparently the driver left 5mins ago! We received our luke warm food just under 1hr late, ordered food at 6.30pm recieved near to 9pm! 2.5hrs later! Once recieved, we were missing the onion salad which was paid for, the food was extremely oily/greasy, the chicken totally inedible, the masala sauce was disgusting, not like any masala sauce I have seen or tasted before, tasted sour/off! We would like a refund please !

Although a 20 minute walk this is my local. It's worth the walk. A nice atmosphere and location. Food is served during the day. A garden to sit in during the summer. With football on the screen makes a perfect location. Entertainment is provided at certain times.
