Best breakfast in clacton this week. Lovely friendly service. Very reasonably priced and quick service.

Really good breakfast and a very clean and tidy cafe. The owner very pleasant and nice to talk to.

I am an occasional visitor to Clacton and have lunched here twice. The food seems to be made from good quality ingredients making for decent good value meals. I note that mostly locals eat here - so a good recommendation. I'll certainly be back.

Great cafe to go to for a full English breakfast in the morning while in clacton. Still the best cafe in clacton Recommend the bubble and mushrooms with the cooked breakfast.

This is an amazing cafe to go and have a lovely breakfast I recommend 100% always fresh and hot and a very quick service

The food was ok. My order was wrong. I asked for scrambled eggs, got fried, and I asked for tin tomato instead of beans and got fresh. I hate to moan, but you get your mouth ready for something and don't get it 🤷‍♀️ oh well. It was ok

I went there with a friend I had mixed grill and she had a nice pie dinner always brilliant meals and serves well recommended .

a little gem in High Street Clacton on Sea bright and clean with well laid out dining area food excellent full English with all top quality food and the bacon was how bacon should be cooked not ironed not stiff and it was tasty plate was full and it came with bread and tea all for £9.50 ! my partner had a well packed bacon and tomato sandwich lovely have a meal here and you will not regret it

Food was ok over priced brought me a coffee that had no coffee in it asked for a bit more came back with half a kilo off coffee init. Charge 2 pound for a kids chocolate milk that are 30p in farmfoods. And had to pay an extra 2 pound for scrambled eggs which I asked for and wasn't brought

The service is magnificent and the food is out of this world, five star all the way highly recommend if you are visiting Clacton on sea.

Best burger I have ever had. Would travel from London every day to have one. Top tier service. Very welcoming atmosphere. Can’t express how good this place is. You must go here.

Very good for a lady on her own

First visit to Nancy's but won't be the last. I had lasagne chips and salad and my husband had roast of the day. The food was lovely but far too many chips for me! Lovely filter coffee too. We couldn't manage a dessert but maybe next time. Good value for money. Linda and Nigel.

I came here for breakfast. The number 2 breakfast was a good size, hot and value for money. It's a small place though, so on peak times, I imagine it will get crowded, also they don't have any customer loos. Overall though, I would definitely eat there again if I'm in Clacton.

Food is always hot and fresh. They also do deliveries of roast dinners on Sundays.

This place is an absolute gem - had an excellent proper roast chicken dinner and home made cherry pie for dessert - just like mum used to make. Fast no frills service - honest good food - a lovely surprise on our day out there - will definitely go there again - loved it!

This is a great little cafe, The food is always hot and tasty. Good portions quick service, the only down point is it is small so the chances of getting a seat are limited during peak times which is great for the cafe not so if you are hungry and in need of a full brekkie. They deliver as well, which is as generous as sitting in but does need a quick heat up

Ok, breakfast, cheap sausages overpriced for what it is cash only

The food was very disappointing. I had chillie con Carne with chops and salad and it was pretty awful the salad was freshly cut but very bland with absolutely no seasoning whatsoever, it's really not difficult to ad a pinch of salt and a dash of olive oil is it ? The chilli itself was equally dire, I actually could not taste any chilli whatsoever it actually tasted more like that cheap tinned chillie con carne that you can buy in quick save. My partner had a roast beef dinner, and it had quite obviously been microwaved. We left without finishing our food.

When I visit my mum in Clacton...we always go in for breakfast...and even had Sunday dinner delivered and eaten in...Food is very fresh, and tasty..choice of food is amazing...staff very friendly

Just the right amount of food, so no issues with feeling too full and uncomfortable, The prices for the breakfast were reasonable and the food was cooked lovely.

We came down for the day with the kids and the owners of this place where more than welcoming and there customer service is brilliant too they was amazing with the kids nothing was to much very good value for money we will definitely be back when we are down that way thanks again 😀 👍

Absolutely gorgeous roast dinner. I'm house bound so the driver who delivered was so helpful an bought it into my kitchen for me. Brilliant service

Went here for lunch with my friend but was very disappointed with the quality of the food it was so greasy. The service was okay but make sure you take your cash as cards are not accepted

Absolutely fantastic. Simple ordering process, with quick arrival of very tasty food, all cooked fresh to order. I'd definitely recommend this Cafe, good home style cooking in a friendly environment. Only downside is Cash Only but nearby Cash Machines get around this minor inconvenience. Open longer on Airshow Days too - very handy for my Team who visited Friday Morning.

Unbelievable fry ups that are NOT greasy like most places. The fried slices are sent from god, be sure to order one even if you have a salad. If you even remotely like omelettes try the ham and cheese, bet you havent had better. Ohh and the chef does a mean karaoke.

My absolute favourite place to eat out in Clacton on sea. Great food, service and very clean and welcoming.

Well what can I say about this wonderful little establishment. We stopped in here today for breakfast, been here so many times as the food & service are incredible. Went for the No 1 breakfast @ £4.95 x 2 absolute bargain with drink’s £12, I’ve been to place’s where they charge that for one breakfast. Try Nancy’s poached eggs they are perfect, as is the omelette I went with the cheese, mushroom, onion 3 egg these are huge, the wife went for the Roast of the day Pork & apple @ £14 with drinks, rude not to @ these price’s, only one downside if I could call it a downside is you might have to wait to get in there, they are sooooo busy just proves awesome food & cost’s and even do a delivery service if you find it hard to get yourself down there. Well done Nancy you & your staff are a credit to the community. 10 / 10 from me. 💥👊🏻💥🙏🏻

My mum and I had breakfast here not that long ago. It was both of our first time here and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and quick. The food was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were great. My mum had the vegan breakfast and I had a make your own breakfast. The place is kept clean and tidy. We will definitely be back!! Thank-you to all the staff!

We've been to Nancy's kitchen on more than one occasion as we've friend's that live around the corner. The breakfast here is amazing and perfect portion sizes as well as the lunches being freshly cooked. Our last visit we came with 5 kids and were welcomed and accommodated. The food came out quickly and hot for all of them. Can't recommend this cafe enough.

When I was there it was clean tidy. The staff were welcoming. The food was great. Great all round experience.

Really good straight forward food with good portions, excellent value & friendly helpful people. We went for Breakfast this time, but Lunch equally good. Only go provided you want straightforward British cooking.

No toilets, which meant we couldn't eat here as I have a 2 year old who needs to use the toilet regularly. I'm glad though as it was very pricey.

Terrible service when phoning to make an order asked if could wait for a minute was still on the phone for 15 minutes without coming back to the phone!

Only bad thing i have to say is that I ordered a bacon roll apple pie and cold custard was ordered in plenty of time when I received my order everything was great except for two things first of all I requested cold custard which was still hot secondly the price was more than what I'd been told on the the phone apart from that the food was excellent

Me and my partner had the number 3 breakfast with drinks.£18. We both have good appetites but could not manage it all. Great greasy spoon as we used to call them and that is a compliment i might add. Would defo recommend. Ps best to walk in to get fed as its not situated abroad. 🤣

couldnt tell you what the food was like as didnt get served , waited 10 mins and nobody came out or maybe we had to go inside dont know didnt tell us, so we walked away and the young girl behind the counter watched us walk away. come on clacton wake up employ helpful staff not twits. dont moan if you dont make any money

So I'm slowly working my way through all the cafes in clacton one by one every time the cars in the garage.The portion of food in this place was HUGE and everything was goodcjustvthecwzy I liked it. The service was good and quick price was also good. It's the best breakfast I've came across in Clacton-on-Sea so far

We've been to this cafe a couple of times since moving to Clacton. Found the food to be very nice and good value. So far we've tried the homemade lasagne, ham, egg and chips and the omelette. Good size portions at a very reasonable price.

Four pounds 95 for a breakfast with coffee and tea very good value best fried bread ever nice and cleanly cooked with tea or coffee can't complain noticed you can get a roast dinner for three pounds 95p good puddings spotted d I c k Apple pie ect with custard not a lot space no toilets well worth a visit with the town all-around no space for wheelchairs or pushchair or high chairs very quick service well worth a visit
