Because it's now under new management, I thought I'd give it a chance, and I'm so pleased I did. I had a vegetarian special 'Dall Mirchi Mac' with an aloo paratha and it was as good as I've had anywhere. Really tasty and very generous portions. If you're put off by the older reviews, check out the latest ones.
Would definitely recommend and will be going again.
PS I'm not affiliated with the restaurant in any way. I just wanted people to know how good it is now.

Luke warm late, could see the cook in the kitchen cleaning her ear out with her finger but still got the classic breakfast, toast was good otherwise soggy hasbrowns and solid egg.
I love sainsbury's and have been using these cafes for years and i shall miss them as they are closing. But this is not my best memory.
No queue, hardly any cars in car park, not busy. Used drive in, ordered bucket of hot wings and a drink. Moved round to second window. After few minutes asked to wait in car park even though no cars behind me. Waited over twenty minutes, still no food. Went back into drive in and explained to young blond girl that I had waited twenty minutes, could wait no longer and asked for a refund. She went to get another girl to process the refund who, without even looking at me or facing me, said in a very aggressive voice "it was only six minutes and if I did not stop complaining (which I was not) she would not give me a refund". She processed my refund, almost threw the card at me then slammed the shutter closed so hard I thought it would break. Appalling service. I will not use again. My credit card statement which I used to pay, proves the timings.
Can t believe I stopped & spent money on a weak tasteless coffee served by a very unhygienic person. I threw the coffee away as soon as I tasted it.
People should avoid this mobile skip it’s filthy
Came in for my lunch and was exceptionally pleased with my food, and the members of staff was great, especially Tilly, very kind welcoming and helpful đź‘Ť
Very bad went there at 12 for a coffee and a donut the coffee tasted horrible and the donuts were melting because they were in the sun.I would not recommend this place
This review is about Marriott Fisheries not honouring a delivery. .
One star is far too generous.
On Wednesday 14 February I emailed Marriott Fisheries Aldeburgh to ask if they could supply shellfish for 10 people for Saturday 17 February. A birthday party surprise. Received emails in reply from Oliver Marriott who I conversed with over couple of days. No problem he said, we deliver to Dunwich . My brother Luke will deliver on Saturday between 4 & 5pm, he’ll call you when he gets there. We could pay Luke when he arrived as they have a mobile card reader.
Sure enough at 4:10pm on Saturday I received a phone call from Luke but instead of delivering the order, he said his van had broken down in Southwold. No problem I said I can come and pick the order up. I’ll call you back he said after I’ve spoken to someone. He rang back and as we’d already guessed fobbed me off with apologies. They obviously hadn’t even prepared my order (obvious from the start) and let me down literally at the last minute. Use Marriott Fishers at your peril, as they are unprofessional and unreliable.
Go to The Aldeburgh Market fish shop instead. Fantastic service. We phoned them around 5pm and explained we’d been let down by Marriott Fisheries and they supplied everything we had originally ordered and at a lower price too. Shellfish, service and professionalism was fantastic from The Aldeburgh Market.
