Zorba's in Suffolk Coastal

Wow this must be the worst place I've ever eaten from. all food is old and burnt, would not of feed to my dog

Picked up a kebab for lunch, food was average at best, meat was just warm, chilli sauce was bland and In my opinion not hot enough, salad was good but it’s hard to get that wrong. Was expensive for average food, and I wouldn’t recommend using them

Missing food, inedible food, cold and poor service! Every time we go to these there is an issue! They never seem to get it right

Ordered my meal at 6pm, after five phone calls it finally arrived at 9.15, I had to walk to where he was parked as he couldn't find my house and of course the food was Stone cold when it finally arrived, I know its new years eve but three hours for a cold kebab bloody disgusting

Our food was late. When I phoned they said it was on the way. I then get a call from the person delivering the food who can’t find my house. I try to give directions but he is rude, claims to be the manager and says will not deliver here again. It’s somehow my fault he can’t find my address. On top of this the order is wrong again!

Shocking delivery times, two hours! Never order ice cream tubs as you’ll only get one flavour. Diced lamb is tough and inedible. We’ve used them several times hoping they would get better but they really don’t care about customer satisfaction. They really need to care about the customer and not palm them off with cheap poorly cooked meat and no actual ice cream flavour tubs just the basic. If you can avoid do void

Without doubt the worst diner I have ever been served.The meat was tasteless. The salad was almost nonexistent, served in a separate tiny plastic container.No tomatoes or peppers although I could see them in the bowls under the counter. The place was filthy and all the staff were just shouting at each other. These guys need to take a trip to London to see how doners are made there.

Grabbed 2 doner wraps for lunch and they were big enough to share and very tasty. They have a large menu and do family meal deals including pizza and wraps chips and drinks.

Overwhelming disappointment. Ordered online got home to find both kebabs missing the salad. I really could not be bothered to drag myself back to the shop to get it sorted. I will put it down to experience and never go back.... salad aside the kebabs were extremely average.. don't rush...

Ordered over £60 worth of pizza, chicken and kebab. Delivered late, even after we received a possible 15 minute delay because they were busy. Gave us the wrong pizza orders, resulting in one person not being able to eat the meal, food was stone cold and gave us an additional pizza that we never ordered and no one liked. Rang to complain and was told we would have to wait another hour for the correct meal. This is the second occasion we have tried Zorbas after the first was poor and all cold too. At least the order was correct that time. Pizza dough is also very soft (almost raw). Will be leaving this review on all platforms so people can see.

Last time I ordered from there was 4yrs ago, it was horrible then but thought maybe 4yrs they have sorted out their food......guess what I was wrong. No salad, pizza not cooked. And how hard would it be to put the chicken inside the pitta bread instead of slapping it on top? I struggling to believe how these are still open. And if your lucky enough for someone to pick the phone up then be expected for the staff no to care and then hang up on you.

About a month ago we ordered a takeaway, and it arrived 2 and a half hours after it was meant to. 2 AND A HALF HOURS , then tonight we decided we would give them another chance. It’s already 30 minutes late, and I just called and they said it would be another 30 minutes! Don’t order a takeaway from here unless you are willing to spend an evening waiting at the door for your food.

Zorbas delivered for me when I was self-isolating. So grateful for this service otherwise I would have been on beans on toast every meal. Chicken kebab delicious. I’m normally all about pepperoni pizza but the Zorbas pizza was possibly better. £15 minimum order which is hard on your own but you can always throw in a tub of Ben and Jerry’s. Half of our order was missing and what we did get was awful!! They never delivered the rest of our food even though they said they would. Absolutely disgusting food and a complete waste of money and poor service. We shall not be using them again!! AVOID Zorbas saxmundham!

After our last order 2 months ago we decided to give zorbas another chance: Missing 3 lots of chips and 1 salad . No apology at all and food we did get was rubbish: still waiting an hour later for the chips: never again. Waste of time and money

I usually use the kebab quite alot and never had problems.. this time was different we got the chicken which was really dry and cold i ordered a meat feast pizza well it had hardly any cheese on it.. i also ordered some chips which was £2 extra... i had 10 chips!!! I called up to be told they are too busy to deal with me! Awful survice and wont be using again!

Missing items and frozen dessert . Twice now order was wrong. Overpriced and no apologies . New to area and will never use again

Ordered via Just Eat. Arrived half an hour late. Hot food was luke warm, ice cream melted and the rhum babas which are always excellent and fine for £3 each were replaced with stale chocolate cake which was overpriced and went straight into the bin. If they cannot fulfill to order, why don't they telephone and ask if replacements are ok or not send and deduct!Always used to be excellent but will never use again.

We went to this kebab shop order a chicken kebab and a shish . I have never had such tough lamb kebab in my life item missing from my order £17 of food went in the bin would not recommend this takeaway to anyone

My friend and I visited this take away and ordered two shish kebabs. Not only was the meat grey in colour, but we could hardly cut it as it was so tough, so we gave it to the cat who also left it! Plus the salad was limp and green ; no tomatoes; no cucumber; in fact tasteless.

Fed up with wrong food delivered NOT WORTH THE MONEY since Keith has left idiots to it. Always long waiting times for rubbish food

So my friend offered me a pizza from here and I was really unsure as some of the reviews are really bad but as my mate said he was paying it’s worth a go and to throw it if I didn’t like it, well I had the veggie hot and it was lovely so much so I went back a few days later only to find out Monday and Tuesday they have half price pizza all day (collection only) so I paid £4.50 for a 12 inch pizza wow. The pizzas (both times) were hot loads of toppings and a lovely base I will defiantly be back for again.I haven’t had anything els from here so can’t comment on what there like but the pizza’s are defiantly worth a go.

I have been getting lunch here 3-5 times a week for the last few years. It’s generally been not terrible but not great either. Today I went in, stood at the counter and saw an employee cutting chicken breasts. When I got his attention he didn’t, as I would expect, immediately wash his hands. He proceeded to wipe his hands on his t-shirt then serve food to the other customer waiting before preparing my order. I pointed out that I wouldn’t be able to eat it because he hadn’t washed his hands after handling raw chicken. He just smiled and kept doing what he was doing. When he gave me my order I exited the shop and dumped it in the bin! I must have spent a few thousand pounds here over 3 years but I’ll never go there again.

Oh my I have never tasted anything so awful I stood and watched them re heat the chips in front of me and for the price was given half portion of chips, doner meat was cold and wrap was so stodgy Terrible poor quality food would not recommend this place at all

I ordered a meal from here (pizza) it come with the wrong toppings on I’m a vegetarian I stated that very very clearly over the phone and there was chicken and pepperoni onit at first I thought it was a joke but I am absolutely disgusted with this pile of poo that people call a restaurant Ps it was rank anyways

Overpriced, over salty, bland food. Tried this place a few times over the years, best let eaten after a pub visit. Chips are just a lump of under cooked mess, the box the pizza comes in has more flavour.

We ordered through the app at 18.13 for delivery for 7pm. So far 30 minutes late and no apology from the staff and even heard a member of staff swear on the phone. Again no apology on second phone call and was told order will be hear soon! We are regular customers of Zorbas but 1 bad experience has completely changed our minds and not coming again.

Not a bad kebab house, I’d be lying if I said my local kebab place wasn’t better because it is. I did find the kebab a little chewy in areas where it was perhaps a little bit overdone however the kebab itself tasted great. Men behind counter were friendly if not a little inquisitive! Overall don’t judge until you try. If you’re about local area, it’s not bad at all! I enjoyed my kebab wrap. However I would advise them to take their fish finger wrap off of the menu as they never seem to have it.

Visit a couple times recently and must say awful. Gave me a donner wrap which was not even cooked the meat was still cold then ordered a pizza ham and mushroom pizza the base was all doughy and the cheese was not even melted. And as for the staff in their the women should not be allowed to work her manners are awful and she is so rude, does the place no favour and will lose u custom. And a for the staff in there they are so slow and don’t have a clue the only one that did but don’t see him there much is the one who been there long time. Won’t be using again

Not a lot to say other than truly one of the worst kebabs I’ve ever had. It’s a shame really as it’s the only kebab shop in the town I guess the guys just don’t care about their customers

Chicken wrap - Wrap itself was chewy, almost like eating cardboard and the chicken was just as bad. The chips were luke warm at best. it was obvious that the food was cooked the night before. from a large order only 1 meal was slightly nice. will NEVER be getting our custom again.

We moved here a few months ago and have used Zoe as on several occasions,sometimes good,sometimes terrible.main problem is the delivery service which is very hit and miss and the last kebab order came to our door 1 hour 15 minutes late ,stone cold beyond eating with no real apology from the driver.

If i fancy a good kebab, then Zorba's is where i head for. There is also a bar/restaurant attached so you can have a beer while you wait if need be

Have used zorbas on several occasions normally without problems but this time we ordered a delivery. Not only was the woman that answered the phone rude but we were told it would be over an hour and a half... when our order finally arrived it was not brilliant and after checking we noticed we'd also been overcharged!! We spent £67 for 5 adults and 3 children... could have had a nice Chinese or indian

We fancied a takeaway but this was not good! the order was wrong, no chilli peppers in the salad and food was cold when we got it.

Nos agarramos un kebab para llevar rápido aquí antes de salir para Nochevieja. Tienda en sí es bastante buena, no parrilla pero limpio y con buen aspecto, brochetas en exhibición bajo el mostrador.

Does a bit of everything, I find the pizzas a little too salty but still tasty. But really like their kebabs. All cooked to order straight off the skewer. Chips are good and service is quick.

Después de un largo día mi hija decidió tratar a una comida para llevar. . Así llamado y un pedido para los seis dos menores de cinco años. Nos dijeron 50 minutos para la entrega! Cuando llegó a una hora y diez minutos llamé a c lo que estaba ocurriendo, el hombre en el teléfono era brusco y grosero, pero no puedo decir el conductor estará con nosotros en cualquier momento. Otra media hora fui por n niños estaban realmente disgustada, así que llamé de nuevo y sólo me dijeron que "qué nos esperaba que hicieran" y increíblemente colgó mi hija! Con que ella se puso en su coche y fuimos a Zorbas, cuando explicó que ella era y donde tuvimos nuestra orden llegamos a. En ella se rió, diciendo y qué! El conductor no podía encontrar nuestra dirección! No siento nada! Mientras que esperó de nuevo preparado nuestro pedido de nuevo! Incluso quería pagar el precio completo! ! Después de tener que esperar 40 minutos extra! Servicio Asqueroso. . Contaremos a todos los vecinos sabemos permanecer lejos de este desagradable para llevar! !

Siempre disfrute de la comida aquí quizás la ocasión que olvide algo extraño pero te dejan ahora, lo cual es una ventaja... bueno, no para mi bolsillo, pero buena comida

Hemos ido a la ciudad y han utilizado este Zorbas dos veces. La comida es fresco, gran variedad de pizzas, kebabs y hamburguesas. Teníamos pollo y doner kebab döner, gran porche, Kebab de pollo, hamburguesa comida todos con patatas fritas y pan de ajo dieron una gratis por 28 libras! Si quieres tu orden esperando usar su cabeza y teléfono y orden! También la llevan y puedes pedir vía a comer... sin duda nos alegramos trasladamos aquí ahora!

I ordered a ham and mushroom pizza and had to wait over 30 mins for even though the shop was not busy, I must say I did not enjoy the pizza it was like the pizza sauce had been changed it did not taste right also the fact that the pizza was only cut in half made it hard to eat. I must say when Tony is there the pizza are lovely but this was a let down and was not worth £7.

It's the only place in the area to sell a wide range of foods so there will be something for all tastes.

Zorba 's offers good quality, use local produce a good quick service and always reliable to have food ready on time and have started offering a delivery service which the only shame about is it's for orders over £15 when most orders for two people would be in the £12 range so you end up either driving or talking yourself out of that takeaway meal ..

I went to saxmundham kebab the other evening after finishing work in the area this is not my normal kebab but I can say I will be going there again the pizza was amazing the best I have tasted in a very long time. I had ham and mushroom pizza it was very nice and not to expensive. The service from the staff was great and the even gave me a free bottle of drink. Well worth a try

We placed a big order for 5 of us. It was great service the food was great and it didn't take long to be ready. I had a lovely doner kebab with salad, I never have salad, but that was lovely! Great with a hot kebab

I love pizza and Zorbas is one of the best I've ever tasted, which ever one I go to. I usually go for doner pizza! Tastes so so good!

We went for a takeaway the other evening my son had a doner kebab I must say it was very greasy he asked for garlic sauce as well and I must say it did not taste at all like garlic sauce. The service was good but won't recommend the food

We visited Zorbas on a spur of the moment . Two couples . We were swiftly seated and served drinks . Our friend noticed that there was no Meze on the menu and asked if they would do one . The answer was certainly ,no problem !A great night was had by all and when the bill arrived they had only charged £10/head for the Meze !We will return and reccomend Zorbas for good food and friendly service

Good service, pre order great choice, good value, the special chicken kebab is a must try. One of best takaways in area

I have had takeaway chicken kebabs with chips a few times from Zorba's. They are cooked to ordered and they were succulent and very tasty.I would defiantly order food from here again.
