Because it's now under new management, I thought I'd give it a chance, and I'm so pleased I did. I had a vegetarian special 'Dall Mirchi Mac' with an aloo paratha and it was as good as I've had anywhere. Really tasty and very generous portions. If you're put off by the older reviews, check out the latest ones. Would definitely recommend and will be going again. PS I'm not affiliated with the restaurant in any way. I just wanted people to know how good it is now.

Ordered a takeaway. Apprehensive after reading the reviews but WOW! Very tasty and fresh. Lamb bhuna, naga chicken, rice and naan. Very good value for money. We will be back.

Lovely food and great taste and great management and quick delivery for £89 order😁. Definitely will be ordering again

Birthday treat, spoilt by substandard food, a combination of watery sauce’s, odd tasting balti sauce that had a pickle side kick to it ( very weird ) and chicken that it is hard to describe ( not nice ) you know it’s bad when the only good part was the popadom, will never use again and we are all praying we make it through the night without multiple trips to the toilet

The food was really good. I ordered it online and it did say it will take 55 minutes but they delivered it within 40 minutes which I loved and they give a free Pepsi on the house and 2 free popadom I will definitely be coming back 😁😁

Disappointing Takeaway to celebrate a birthday. All food was horrendously watery, popadoms delivered as a bag of crumbs and they had missed an item off the delivery. Called to request missing items to be told it was already on the way; asked why popadom (that was paid for, not a freebie) was a bag of crumbs to be told it’s the delivery drivers fault and no apology whatsoever. Rest of order arrived 20 minutes later, again, cold and watery. Terrible customer service, terrible food.

Apparently this is lamb!! The chunk of meat on the right is lamb the rest looks like pork! Called the company to complain and ask what meat this was as very fatty and although stained with the curry sauce, is a white meat!! They proceeded to tell us this is lamb and would do nothing to rectify the problem. Will not be ordering from here again.

Not sure where to start. No driver so the food arrived 1.5 hours late. Not that bigger problem. Wasn't re made tho so arrived cold. I've never had Indian food with such little flavour. Dry mince inside filo pastry is not a samosa. Onion bahji was awful. The butter chicken curry was stodgy cold and flavourless. Even the papadums were stale and awful. Never again

A strange experience. The young man taking our order seemed a bit vague with no idea of prices which was confirmed about 20/25 minutes later when he asked what dishes we had ordered, his list wasn’t the same as ours which was surprising as we had only ordered four items. While we were sitting waiting two women and a child arrived and disappeared into the back room. One of the women eventually appeared and very slowly and hesitantly worked out our bill before disappearing with the older woman and young child with an order for delivery but they didn’t seem to know where they were going. Food was OK but we got the impression that the owners/staff hadn’t the foggiest idea about what they were doing.

All the other Indian takeaways were closed on Monday so I ended up here by accident. I ordered online which was fine. After waiting for the 30 mins cooking time I arrived to collect. Unfortunately the takeaway was not checking for online orders. The unfriendly youth behind the counter went off to check and did not return. After perhaps 10 mins a scruffy guy appeared with a printout. He pretended that because I had placed a big order it was taking some time but there was clearly no cooking happening. After perhaps 15 mins Mr Scruffy appeared again with my printout and pointed at each item in turn. He stopped and spoke about several items. As he didn't speak English I assumed the dish was off the menu and agreed with whatever he said appeared to be a substitute. Eventually it became clear he couldn't read the order and was trying to get me to say what the dish was. So I've really no idea what I ended up agreeing to. Eventually the food came out. I was handed the card reader to process my payment. Unsurprisingly it didn't work and Mr Scruffy got Mr Surly out to get me to try again. I almost walked out but as I needed the food for the family I hit the streets of Felixstowe to find a cash machine. The ATM dispensed only £20 notes and as my original bill was £85 I only offered £80 due to the inconvenience. Mr Scruffy was insistent he needed the other £5 but I refused. So one and a quarter hours after ordering I was ready to leave and was asked if I was happy. This is the first and only time I visit this place.

Avoid at all costs. Had an order delivered lastnight, 1 item missing, 1 thing that I didn't order and was sent a prawn curry when I ordered chicken (can't have prawns!!). Phoned them up and the guy said he'd send out the new stuff. After 20mins a lady calls me asking what the problem was, explained it all to her, she said she'd resend it (after the guy was meant to have already done this!!). She calls me again after 15mins asking me not to leave a bad review!!! After another 40 mins new food arrives, curry very bland, no spice at all but after all this time I didn't really want anything to eat. Another 20mins goes by and another guy calls me asking not to give a bad review!! He asked me what I wanted, I said a refund which he agreed but it never happened, Doesn't even deserve 1 star but can't have 0!!!

Two hour delivery this was one hour late. Good ok chips burnt. Have had better service but on this occasion it was shocking lies of expected times. Back to Nice and Spicy it is. Just a total shame the care for regular customers!

I have to say, living temporarily in Felixstowe I’m really struggling to find a decent curry house but seriously this one should be shut down immediately. In my 50yrs I’ve eaten lots of curry and though quality varies I don’t think I’ve ever had one as unpleasant as the sad offerings from this horrid little place, I truly hope no Indians actually work there and if they do they should be ashamed. Ordered a Chicken Korma and a Chicken Tikka Naga, the korma tasted ok if your idea of a nice curry is a runny, overly sweet coconut porridge, the Naga can only be described as a watery garlic filled soup of hate! It’s like they made 1 Naga then watered it down to make 4 and tried to hid it by throwing in a whole bulb of garlic. Amazingly they also managed to extract any heat from what should be a thick, fiery dish capable of making you sweat and weep like a leaky faucet. It was not only the worst curry I’ve eaten but possibly the worst meal, truly horrid. The sides did little to cheer the sad faces in the room. The mushroom rice was green and, true to form, utterly tasteless The aloogobi tasted like the reheated Sunday lunch left overs my mum used to freeze then slip onto our plates mid-week when we were not concentrating, mushy, beige and to maintain consistency with the rest of the dish, truly tasteless I can’t stress how tasteless this curry was, it was so bad both me and my partner seriously though we may be coming down with Covid and had to eat some fruit to convince ourselves the global pandemic hadn’t reached our doors and robbed us of our taste. Great place to take someone you hate or if you genuinely want to see just how bad curry can get!! Utterly disgraceful!!!

Ordered two special biriani came early which was the only good thing about the meal apart from the onion bahjis. Very dry and tasteless not any where near their normal standard. Very disappointed will have to think twice before ordering again.

Ordered a takeaway, customer service was brilliant and the food didn’t take long to arrive and the driver was very friendly 100% recommend !

We came in to order food to take away. We waited 15 minutes to come from the back as he was ‘busy’. The place was dirty & smelly, an the man looks awfully scruffy. I asked if I could order an he answered the phone whilst I was speaking. He then put the phone down shoved me a pen an paper an said “you order I’m too busy” expecting me to write my own order down, he then he walked into the back again.

Ordered food at 17:00 when first opened. Called again at 18:30 to see if we’d been missed, told was just waiting on one of the curries. Food eventually arrived at 19:30. Part of the order was missing and on complaining said they would give money off next time. Following trying to eat what they passed as a Jalfrezi (chicken and onions) I’m sure there won’t be another occasion to be reimbursed. I know they are busy with over restaurants being closed, but surly this was one of the first orders of the evening.. I’d be interested to see what service was like later in evening.

Short jet black hairs in our food, we were disgusted and couldn't finish. We have brown hair so not ours. We had takeaway - 35 mins late. Disgusted at la k of standards especially considering CV is going about. So half hour late.

Awful service, lied to when called. asked for a partial refund but were told that they were just busy and it was to be expected. Type 1 Diabetic who had given insulin 10 minutes after being given notification food was on the way. food had still not arrived over 1 hour later, causing great concern. followed up with call to restaurant, no concern shown from restaurant. Awful service.

First time I was lucky, that was two years ago, there were five tasty king prawns that I got....Then they became four....again and again, never five again... And today the big surprise , I only got three of them and there was also a forgotten teil from a fourth one. I do not know what happens there, if a new owner or something else, but the quality of my orders went rapidly down from my first order two years ago. So, time to test another Indian Restaurant that respects eventually their customers and not try to fool them.

This Indian takeaway is definitely the best in Felixstowe, we use it at least once a week. Excellent quality and flavours, always delivered within 40 minutes.

Never had a problem with food from this place, always on time and hot and delicious ! Will definitely order again !

Half the quantity of other takeaways for 50% more cost, probably the least quality of all local Indian takeaways, greasy rice with whole cloves of garlic, a very lacklustre dish slapped together without any care, the actual curry was spicy with one mouthful and then not with the next, a very disappointing dish, with the chicken barley cooked through.

I felt the curry portion could have filled the container a bit more, it was billed as fairly hot but wasn't even what I'd call madras hot, the Pilau Rice was ok, could have been more in the container there as well, also there was a couple of cloves left in there which I didn't see until I bit into them, the Tarka Daal was the best thing about this order, very tasty, although the portion was a tiny bit over half of a container, generally quite pricey for the quantity I received, sometimes the quantity and flavour is there, sometimes it isn't, possibly depends on who's cooking it i guess? could do with consistency as some orders are a hit and some a miss, a long way to go before this displaces my best local curry house
