Great pub in a lovely location food was really nice and the staff was very helpful and friendly will definitely being going again when in the area lovely garden to catch the sun ☀️

The Rami is my go to curry house, I am there quite often.. This is good because I always know that I am going to have good experience. This is bad, I get bored eating the same meals over and over again (they are excellent meals, but I do need a change). This visit, there was nothing on the menu that I really fancied, and I asked the staff for a recommendation. They recommended a sweet and sour Fish curry, but I do not eat fish.. not a problem, they can make it with chicken.. how hot did I want the curry? WOW - how many places can you get a custom meal! Never had sweet and sour curry before, it was interesting and I would try it again, maybe a little be a little braver with the curry level. The staff provide excellent service, the food is presented an tastes really good, I really like the ability to change the spice levels.

This pub is cosy, with a great atmosphere. With the 2 open firs and they allow dogs, a perfect venue. It reminds me of the pub in the film tge holiday.

Good for real ale But for some strange reason reason they seem to think we need yet another foreign food place in the town Korean food now being served !!!! No steaks or grill All they have done is driven away customers who want good old British pub grub to rival companies not a good idea Just use it for beer now

Just came here for a little bit of food and went home with full stomach love service by Tracy and the meat was nice and juicy would recommend for a day out or booking

Ordered vegetarian dishes for takeaway. It was really enjoyable, not greasy and loads of favour. Will use again for sure.

Visited The Bull, Wheathampstead for a meal and catch up with friends. We had a lovely meal with everything delicious and cooked to perfection. Our waitress, Belinda was attentive but not intrusive and was very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. I couldn’t decide which cocktail to choose and Belinda recommended the Disarrano Blush which didn’t disappoint and I highly recommend too. The Bull is well worth a visit, lovely location especially if you get to sit outside by the river on a nice summer’s day.

Great service, staff were very friendly, the manager Shreeya showed me how to use the app and was extremely friendly and patient with me, and the food exceeded my expectations so thank you to everyone in the kitchen. I will definitely be coming back again!

Lovely 600yr old hotel . Right opposite the cathedral. Perfect location for exploring st albans Quirky building with slopey floors. Staff are very attentive and polite. Reasonable clean.... nothing awful . But attention to detail wouldn't go amiss . Bed was comfy and clean . Bathroom well equipped

Mikey and Victoria are absolutely lovely, such a great pub and such a lovely place to be. They make you feel so welcome and loved. Definitely the new hotspot of St Albans for drinks & food. Never met a better manager/person in my life. I love coming here

I think the food here is very good, The spices and flavours are balanced by chefs who clearly know what they are doing. The food is fresh, tasty and very enjoyable. With welcoming waiters and a relaxed atmosphere i recommend this Indian restaurant

Girls who walk lunch gathering - Tudors restaurant was recommended and booked on as a Groupon Steak and Prosecco deal. Not being a steak eater, this was swapped out for Fish and chips and was no problem for our accommodating waiting staff. Starter (Not part of the deal) was Shrimps with garlic butter and bread. Whilst this was quite enjoyable - the Grease from the garlic butter was excessive and not conducive for a pre-diabetic diet. The mains - Fish and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. Was plentiful and chips nice and fluffy. The fish was not In my opinion fresh and the batter was over done. The mushy peas was dry and bland and I did not eat it or the Tartare sauce. Dessert (Not part of the deal) was Vanilla Ice cream and a welcomed treat on such a hot day/weather. All in all I was disappointed with the food and felt it was "Just okay". Will I visit again? The jury is out. Thanks for the friendly service though.
