Been going here for many years and the food is always fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommended to anyone who lives Chinese food at a very reasonable price.

Really nice food, quite pricey (£13 something for large chips and cheese with a battered burger and 2 drinks). Pretty quick service but the only thing that annoys me is that they don't have foam trays for their chips and for some reason.. they always put the cheese on the bottom and chips on top so you have to battle with scraping cardboard out of your food and the cheese off of the cardboard tray & ultimately decide you wasted money on cheese while your now grating your own cheese on there anyway..if you ask for cheese on top, your then scraping it off of grease proof paper to try and salvage it. Just use your own cheese or ask for it on the side as it happens every time & they don't learn

Recently visited The Stanley at 33 Magdalen Rd, Norwich and was absolutely delighted! This place is perfect for a cozy evening out. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and the service was top notch. The atmosphere is wonderful - warm and inviting, with a nice interior that creates a cozy feeling. The menu pleases with a variety of dishes and drinks, and the quality of the food exceeded all expectations. I especially recommend to try their specialties - it is a real gastronomic delight! Separately, I would like to mention the affordable prices and excellent value for money. If you are looking for a place to relax and have a good time, The Stanley is definitely a great choice. I will definitely come back here again!

Came across this place and noticed they sold grounded coffee and purchased it. 5 minutes later after walking away I realised that they sold me coffee beans, so went back and politely asked if this could be exchanged- which the staff said even though they advertise it they didnt sell it and only sell the beans-so requested a refund. At this point they couldn’t see my transaction on the till and asked if I even paid for it? The guy who served me was there but didn’t mention he served me at that time- I was then asked to check my internet banking to check the transaction has gone through and for them to see this also???? Because if it didn’t go through then no refund is required????(Could have asked the staff member who served me?????) Eventually they found my purchase- said it’s been refunded- but still hasn’t. So keep the £6… not worth the re visit.

Fabulous food consistently and good portion sizes with loads of flavour. Can't fault them and always great service with polite staff

A lunchtime visit on a bright, icy winters day in late November. A gorgous Victorian pub which is comforting, friendly and boosting a wood burner and local cat called Andy. Six cask ales, all in top condition. A short but delicious menu with dishes that are packed in flavour and beautifully crafted. I wish it was my local.

Had the Vindaloo and it was absolutely delicious. Usually about the limit of what I can handle but this was one of the most pleasant examples of one I've ever eaten. Obviously a very spicy curry, but if you want to try one for the first time then Shah Zahan is the place to get one! The staff at the counter gave the place a good vibe too :)

Pedí cuarto de pato y tortitas, pato asado con piña y arroz frito con huevo. El pato crujiente estaba bien, el arroz frito con huevo no era bueno. El pato asado y la piña no es algo que vuelva a comer.

Beautiful bacon, chicken and pesto granary bap. A really clean beautiful bakery and patisserie. Also does a great Bakewell cake.

Food very fresh and tasty. Lots of veggies and a huge menu to choose from. The owner is really sweet. 100% recommend!
