I was recommended this Cafe by a friend who has a somewhat dubious reputation and nature. But unlike the time in Prague which we won't mention, this cafe was fantastic. I had a delicious burger and a slab of cake which was good for 2 sittings. I would definitely go back here.

We popped in here on the 15th October. The gentleman showed us to a table and engaged in chatting to my 6-year-old daughter, which she appreciated. Food arrived promptly. Very good service. The food was perfect. The gentleman was very chatty and both my wife and daughter really enjoyed being there. Not noisy and overall a very nice evening. Getting back to the food. All of us really liked it. I ordered a vindaloo, which was perfect. Not so hot it burned me; just right. The gentleman was very accommodating, and we have decided this is our new Indian restaurant to go to. 3 courses for 3 people and non-alcoholic drinks came in at under £100. Superb. David Myers

Looked inviting from the outside so decided to give this establishment a try. Spotless interior , big menu with many tempting options. Our coffee was spot on , just how we like it "proper coffee." Wifey had bacon, brie and cranberry panini which she said was delicious. Myself chicken , bacon and pesto sandwich with granary bread. Thick slices of gorgeous bread with a well packed filling , it was very satisfying. Very good service and highly recommend.

A great experience in a one of restaurant. This place is amazing, the food is authentic Indian food. I’ve tried the fish dishes and the salmon tikka is cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The paneer starters is very nice too, the samosas are unique and much better than you normally get in an Indian restaurant. The curries are superb, Bombay potatoes are so nice. The side dishes are not the same portion size as you would expect, but they are ample for two people and we aren’t big eaters. The cost is reasonable and definitely worth getting the loyalty card. The management are lovely people, they’ve worked hard to maintain a Great restaurant. I like that they are able to explain the history behind the dish and ingredients used to make the dishes so special. They also open Christmas Day, we’ve eaten there on Christmas Day and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and great food again. One of the best restaurants in Maldon

Best coffee that we found in most of our trip around the UK! Beans available to buy, lots of different types of milk, and delicious, rich hot chocolate.

Wonderfully decorated and intimate inside, makes a change from the larger samey same type venues in Maldon. Food was top notch, as was the service...although the fish pie was very dry. That said, that was only one below average dish out of 12. Only thing that would put me off coming back to Haus is the extortionate wine list. Cheapest bottles start at £27-30 and a Malbec was £36 and a bottle of Sauvignon was £46. Yes, £46!!!! No bottle of wine should cost that much, this is not Kensington, it's Maldon...bring the prices down to £20-25. Until you do, I regrettably, won't be returning.

A beautiful restaurant and delicious Punjabi food. Plenty of vegetarian options (the paneer lawabdar was the best I've had!), and the owner was really friendly and helpful. Very reasonably-priced too, especially for this quality of food. A lovely evening all round.

We were a group of 22 for a society day. The catering was excellent and timely. From Bacon Rolls and coffee on arrival to Ham Egg and Chips after. Very friendly staff, very agreeable venue
