I prebooked by email .. communication was brilliant. Service very good and amazing bacon sandwich. Definitely recommend. We’ll 100% come back.

it's something of an effort to get to Native but that's all part of the experience. The food is unlike anywhere else we've been. Every dish was delicious and original. Native say they use lots of locally sourced and foraged ingredients and it tastes like it. The service is great too. Taking a boat back to our car certainly made for a memorable evening.

The view is stunning and one of our favourite locations for walking and coffee… unfortunately no longer somewhere we will go for lunch having been regulars since opening. The new management have changed the menu and the baguettes have been replaced with a “huffer” which is another word for a dry bap. The filling was minimal and not worth the price tag! Unless you like fish there is nothing for veggies so don’t bother going. The chips tasted of old cooking oil and most of the bowl were small and over fried. The colslaw was lovely and the staff friendly but only coffees for us now at the mill beach. Hopefully they will review the menu so we can come back for lunch again. X

Had a lovely cream tea for two. Smoked salmon was generous in the sandwiches and tried chickpea coronation sandwiches for the first time. Absolutely delicious! Sandwiches were well filled. Scones still warm and fresh! Asked for recipe! Best of all was the host Phil! He welcomed us and gave us some info about the history of the area. Real pleasure to be served by him. Will definitely be returning and recommend.

This take away has not been Bangalore Spice for a long time as it closed. As The Red Onion its is by far the best Asian food takeaway in the area who also offer a delivery service. The food is outstanding and the portions do not leave you hungry. Never had a problem and thoroughly recommended.

Thought I would give this shop a try, first clue was that it was empty at about 5pm on a Friday ? Very poor fish and chips paid £9.50 for large Haddock which is cooked fresh, but the problem is they then wrap it in paper and it gets totally ruined by the time you get home, the batter sticks to the paper and the fish is also on top of the chips which makes those very soggy too. Pies also £4.60 which is ridiculously expensive and chip portion is very small. Should have gone to my usual chip shop ☹️

This is the 3rd time myself and my party have returned to Osea leisure park and we were planning on returning again next year until this experience at the deck house which has now made us pause to discuss other options. On checkin we were excited to be told of the investments that had been made to the deck house restaurant / bar - sadly that’s where the excitement ended. We were greeted in a very friendly manner as we bought bingo tickets for the adults and the kids played on the arcades at the other end of the room. In total due to the size of our group we must have spent nearly £500 on games, bingo and the bar/food. It then went downhill. Our kids were spoken to rudely by management because they were using the machines whilst bingo was on ( a simple rule of no kids in the building during bingo would have negated this), one of our party was asked to leave the bar as she had a baby ( in a very unprofessional manner) and then one of our party were ignored when they won at bingo because the caller ‘didn’t hear them’ - by the time of the latter all the kids had gone because of the way they had been spoken to - some regulars and staff actually shouted at them to ‘shut up’! All they were doing was playing on the games provided - no shouting or bad behaviour. The bingo caller and some of the other bingo participants who I assume were regulars were beyond unfriendly and so unprofessional that we all left mid through the game and came away shocked at how a purported family friendly establishment had got it so wrong. I have never been made to feel so unwelcome - it was appalling. The osea leisure park accommodation is great and our experiences until this point have been excellent. If we do come back we will not be going anywhere near the deckhouse and if management want a truly family friendly holiday village they need to address their staff and rules immediately. Very disappointing!

Absolutely gorgeous food, and stunning views! The staff at the Osea view are so friendly and very accommodating to young children. The food is of fine dining quality and they make the best pancakes I have ever had! You can tell how much effort has been put in to everything at osea view and it really shows with the quality of the place and the food. I will be coming back!

Comfortable surroundings, friendly and helpful staff, quick service, nice beer, and food was excellent in quality and quantity, and great choices on the menu. Perhaps some of the less flattering reviews were from visits at busier times, I'll admit they were not exceedingly busy when we were there.
