I prebooked by email .. communication was brilliant. Service very good and amazing bacon sandwich. Definitely recommend. We’ll 100% come back.

Stopped by for a afternoon tea. It was busy but we were seated quickly. Staff were friendly and efficient. The afternoon tea was nice and came quite quickly, the scones were lovely. It’s £30 for two which is dear for what you get compared to other places but you are paying for the tiptree product and location. Well worth a visit as part of your day out.

Visit this tea room quite often. Both for lunch and a naughty tea and cake. Enjoyable in all weather's with great views to match the food and service.

Part of the Tiptree group of cafes, this is a delightful place with views across the Blackwater Estuary. It was a rainy day when we visited but this didn’t spoil the occasion. We’d booked in advance for afternoon tea and a table had been reserved for us upstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the range of cakes served for afternoon tea was impressive. We selected which sandwich each we wanted which was good but it would have been better if we could have had a selection of sandwiches on the plate. Could choose a drink with the afternoon tea so adults had tea and kids had hot chocolate with all the trimmings. The toilets are downstairs so it would be tricky if not mobile. Parking is limited and need to park at the entrance of the Osea Leisure Park and then it’s a very short walk through the park to reach the cafe. We would visit again but I can imagine it being quite busy and parking tricky on a sunny, fine day.

What a find! This cute & quirky tea room is full of helpful, friendly staff, gorgeous furniture & decor, and delicious food & cakes. Gluten free is available at no extra charge! Variety of milks available. Currently the decor theme is Charlie & The Chocolate Factory but the ladies tell me it changes every 8-10 weeks. Such dedication! And it makes me want to go back and take it all in all over again. Maybe worth booking as it is a tiny venue - but the best things come in small packages!

Spital RdTotally stand-out warm and welcoming service from our phone call to book, to our arrival and throughout our delicious, filling Sunday lunch. The team (and we have to mention Emma as a particular star) took care of every little detail to elevate our visit to a special occasion. We were traveling with our dog and our reserved table included a welcome treat and a water bowl ready for him - how lovely that we didn't have to ask for anything. Our meals were generous portions, very tasty and reasonably priced. Every pub and restaurant should be like this.

The Square, Holloway RoadVery unhelpful in the bar, I asked for a sandwich as I have dietary requirement only to be scoffed at saying we have made a bar menu for a reason , flicking his wrist he trotted of the to kitchen, come back to tell me that this hotel and restaurant doesn’t have any bread ! Joke , I knew what his attitude would be before I asked , don’t bother going here if you have any special requests other than a couple slices of bread

Wenlock Way, Maldon CM9 5AD EnglandThis is my favourite place in Maldon! The atmosphere and and service make it such an intimate experience. It is the perfect place to meet friends - although I will I come here with my family, my husband and love taking my six-year-old niece for breakfast dates. The team and owner, Mario, are so welcoming and friendly. I will often come here for a coffee by myself and just sit for an hour or so taking some time for me. The coffee is phenomenal. There is not a place like it nearby, the diverse menu options cater for everyone. And the Tapas! Wow! There is not a thing I do not like on the menu and the fact that it is varied for seasons and holidays means that you can have a different experience every time. I cannot recommend Driftwood high enough. It is my go to place and if you haven’t tried it, you really should! Perfect for casual dining and special occasions.
