The best restaurants in Gipping Ipswich East of England

Been coming here for years. Great home made curries at reasonable prices. A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit.

Customer service was very good, knew my order and had it started before I even got to the till, made my experience very pleasant

(In the pictures of the starters we had already ate some food, there was more on the share plate...) Absolutely amazing! Extremely friendly staff who give you all the best advice, tips and tricks to really enjoy your experience here. The food!!! The food is to die for! Heavenly to say the least. We couldn't stop saying how good it was from starters to main and the ice cream was a perfect finish to such a indulgent meal. Definatly coming back here again. My partner and I are leaving with smiles on our faces and full belly's. Fantastic night.

Visited this location a few years ago, and the service has significantly improved. Staff seem to be more happy and eager to assist. Previously there were issues encountered. I had no issues during my visit this time, the staff were all happy to help, and the atmosphere was very good. Only slight improvement is shower pressure and heat, but otherwise all was very good.

Excellent food and coffee as always, great place to eat and relax,staff are very very efficient.

This is an absolute must if you’re in the Ipswich area! Huge shout out to the team on Allen Gardiner who were extremely friendly and the service was impeccable. The live commentary from the Captain was humorous and engaging. Not avid sea goers we were extremely comfortable on board. The facilities were spotless including toilets and drinks were served throughout the 3 hour cruise. This is one that we will certainly recommend to friends and family. A beautiful little treat for our 43rd Wedding Anniversary. 👌🏼☀️☀️😎

The cafe made a lovely scrambled egg and toast. The toast was cold . The staff member touched a dog outside and came back inside and did not wash her hands before dealing with food and drinks. The meal was also expensive, although the portions were good. The latte was really pleasant. Seating inside. Seating was uncomfortable. Views of the harbour are a sure delight.

It has city facing and platform facing counters, so you can buy coffee etc. from either side of the barriers. It’s a station Costa so more expensive - ‘stop the £4 coffee!’

I’ve been coming to this very small coffee shop for a couple of years. The service is excellent they only have six tables but it is far more personal than many of the nearby cafes The menu is a fairly good selection of sandwiches and light meals including breakfast Ideal for me when attending football matches as it’s quite near the ground I will continue to enjoy this wonderful shop for another season
