It has city facing and platform facing counters, so you can buy coffee etc. from either side of the barriers. It’s a station Costa so more expensive - ‘stop the £4 coffee!’

Having put in my coffee order, I panicked as I thought I was about to miss my train. I rushed out and got on the train with two minutes to spare. Suddenly, through the train window, I saw one of the Costa staff walking, holding my coffee, looking for me. I received my drink as the train doors closed. Amazing and much-appreciated service. Thank you!

This is a railway station branch but before the ticket barriers. There is little indoor seating but little demand for it.

lovely service, the blonde lady who served me was ever so patient when i needed a minute to decide on my drink, and was extremely bright and bubbly to myself and everyone who was served while i enjoyed my coffee. the lad who was making drinks while she took orders also had great energy and was very bubbly and kind. best experience in a chain coffee shop i’ve had in a while - i would recommend costa give these 2 employees a raise!

The Sunday roast dinner was lovely and the beer was good too. I dropped a star off the service, as my wife asked for some table water but it never came. All in all a very good place to take the family out for a treat

Very upset with the service tonight. Upon arrival it took 5 minutes for someone to 'welcome' us and sit us down. The young man who did welcome us barely uttered a word and just threw our menus on the table and disappeared never to be seen again. No welcome or have you been here before or even basic courtesy. We were sat next to an open door with a horrible draft coming in. We asked to be moved and to be fair this was accommodated by another member of staff. We then sat there for another 30 minutes without any service whatsoever. Multiple members of staff walked past our table and not one tried to serve us and I could hear the floor staff and chefs arguing over someone who hadn't been served food for over 70 minutes which I hope isn't true. To make it worse I could see members of staff over by the bar chatting away with each other ehisly tables were not being cleared and thebines that were werent cleaned to any sort of standard. If the restaurant was busy I could maybe understand the wait but it was only half full. We eventually chose to leave the restaurant after 30 minutes of being ignored and upon notifying a member of staff of this all they could say was 'oh sorry' there was no attempt to rectify the issue whatsoever. I very rarely leave reviews but this was appalling. I don't know what's happening at this restaurant but its going down hill compared to what we've experienced there before. We will definitely never be returning.

I have always ordered here and I have never had a problem untill now and of all days my birthday I ordered at 5 as they opened I have been waiting two hours for my food and it still isn't here have called up twice was gave a 10% off payment but the food is still not here not here I have 2 children we are all straving was told I sorry for the wait due to customers coming in for food but that shouldn't effect delivering food ! I called at 5 to be a first customer I don't understand how it has took this long I am very unhappy 😔 I won't be returning

Excellent coffee and a truly amazing selection of artisan cakes and sweets. Loved chatting with the owner who has such passion and talent. Well worth a visit.
