The best restaurants in Old Harlow Harlow East of England

I ordered a takeaway meal from the Vegan Buddha last week and it was absolutely top class! Really affordable, tasty meals with full instructions on how to prepare the dishes. Thank you Quinton, we'll be coming back again soon :)

Lovely relaxed meal. Menu had lots of choices, everything ass beautifully cooked and service impeccable. A really enjoyable evening.

Nice vibe with friendly staff and good music. Very good quality drinks Update: please bring back the delicious tuna melt! Understandably very popular. Flat white & vanilla matcha are favourites. We eat here regularly- brunch/lunch reliably delicious. Open some evenings with burgers pizzas & small plates. Occasional events.

Probably the worst Indian I've had since the 1980s. Just poor quality cold food mafe worst by putting it in the microwave to heat it up. Don't order form here!!!!

I would highly recommend a visit to the Green Man Old Harlow. Lovely food, lovely atmosphere and a lovely waitress (Sophia). Couldn’t fault it.

Our fifth visit to the Bengal Cottage under its new team now, and we have found it to be consistently excellent in all respects. All staff are welcoming, polite and professional with an eye for detail and that happy knack of instantly noticing, if your glass is empty. This evening (New Year's Day) was a bit quiet but we were greeted like old friends and the food (Fish Bhuna & Lamb Korma) was piping hot and served with care.

Great food. A group of 8 from work went here for breakfast. All 8 of us really enjoyed the food. I would definitely return and would highly recommend this cafe to anyone.

The food was enjoyable and would recommend to order as they offer takeaway. However, the service at the bar was appalling. After spending over £100 on food and drink, left the bar for a cigarette, came back and our drinks had been cleared. Which were half full. Mistakes happen. The reason I will be avoiding this public house was how this was closed out. Firstly the manger said they were empty, they weren’t. She checked the cameras which proved they were half full! The response was “I will replace them 2 and not third.” They lie and don’t close out there mistakes. They do not value paying customers and are rude Avoid!

Called in for a takeaway as I was staying in a hotel nearby. Absolutely superb. Staff were very polite and helpful, food was cooked quickly and tasted delicious.
