Food has always been bang on...never had a bad takeaway from Harlow Spice. Lovely restaurant for people who prefer a nice quiet and more relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend going and giving it a try for yourself!

Genuinely one of the worst takeouts I’ve ever had. We ordered the Keema Naan and the Butter Chicken on Deliveroo and were more than disappointed. The Keema Naan had barely any filling, with no flavour at all. The naan itself was dry, and the filling wasn’t good at all. The Butter Chicken was inedible, we had to throw out both containers that were completely full. There was only a few small pieces of chicken in it, and the sauce had a terrible flavour that literally made me gag. I’m not one to leave bad reviews for restaurants, but I wouldn’t recommend this food to anyone.

Reported to local council as this place is disgusting. It needs cleaning, it’s shocking they are serving food out of there. Freezing cold in there and no music. Never again! Hygiene is horrendous, please don’t eat here.

Came here for a family meal not only did the chicken tikka have a thick dark hair in it so did the peshwari Naan, when shown to the waiter he didn't apologise he just took it away and gave us another, the hygiene standards are clearly very poor and I will never order or eat from there again.

Driver has updated the status to Delivered and I have waited for another 20minutes to actually receive this order. When I asked him why did he do that instead of doing it after giving me the food he replied „I don’t’ know”.

5 star best Indian food in Harlow great staff have eaten her for 15 years . Before it was call Randa but are now doing 5 courses for £15.99 well worth a visit Had a takeaway last night and the food was excellent I think it is the best food in the area Enough for four of us for £40 that is a great price unfortunately the restaurant is empty with no sit down customers but the takeaway orders do not stop It’s a shame as we use to eat for sit down a lot in the past we have had music and entertainment But the food is still the same if you have not tried it you must you will not be disappointed

We had a lovely meal here on Sunday. Really tasty food, and the starter+main+side+rice/naan meal deal is excellent value (much more food than we could eat in fact, but they were happy to give us some takeaway containers to take the leftovers away).

The food wasn't good. The korma and masala has little taste and the Jalfrezi tasted awful. Really disappointing, sadly.

.......Disappointing Experiene.... I had an extremely disappointing experience with this restaurant and I feel compelled to share it to save others from a similar ordeal. From start to finish, the service was abysmal, and the food quality was far below expectations. Firstly, the customer service is shockingly rude. When I called to inquire about my order, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful. It's clear that they have no understanding of how to communicate respectfully with customers. The delivery time is misleading. Although the UberEats app indicated a wait time of 10 to 25 minutes, my order took over an hour to arrive. This is unacceptable and shows a lack of respect for customers' time. The food itself was another letdown. The biryani was tasteless, overwhelmed by an excessive amount of spices that did nothing to enhance the flavor. The Peshwari naan was another disappointment, barely containing any of the signature Peshwari filling. Additionally, I paid £4 extra for king prawns, only to receive a few very small pieces that were certainly not worth the additional cost. This felt like a complete rip-off. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Between the poor customer service, inaccurate delivery times, and subpar food quality, it was an all-around negative experience. Save your time and money and choose a different restaurant.

This place is a disgrace spent a fortune no driver turned up then they started ignoring my calls I drove down there then they refused to give me my money back be careful with this lot

definitely not worth the money, taste is missing and small portion with bigg price trying to make up for all that by giving free item i had a lot better for similar price.

Meal was ok , onion bhaje needs to be drained better as oil soaked and some more chicken in the meals would be nice overall it was ok

2hrs to wait to eat my Order… 1020pm arrival time I ordered at 8pm this was midweek treat for myself My starter was lukewarm my main was nice … ordered Keena naan couldn’t really taste the mince lamb. Tbh I’d rather them have given me my money back after the 1st hour and I would of cut my losses.

The food was of good quality and he recipes were great. The aubergine was properly cooked. It would have has 5 stars except there was too much salt.

First time ordering from Harlow Spice and it certainly won’t be the last! The food arrived hot and well packed and marked and was absolutely delicious. Food for six of us and plenty of it. The grandchildren asked if they could visit again next weekend and have another curry night.

I would have given 5star if the portions were bigger. Ordered madras, keema naan and keema rice. Still hungry and will most likely order something else from elsewhere now or cook something. However, food was delicious which is why it scraped a 4star. I wont order from here again simply because of the portion size. Constructive feedback, make your portions bigger if you want customers to come back.

Delivery took ages and the prawns were hard like been overcooked. Wasn't really worth it. Naan was nice though.

I had the chicken tikka starter and vegetable dhansak. One of the best dhansak I’ve had 👍 dropped a point as there was no pot of chutney with the tikka starter which you usually get. Will be my go too for an Indian food ****

I was told to give this place another go by friends never again food cold and late poor service all round.

This was my 2nd order, started using Harlow spice after being continuously be let down by my previous regular takeaway and I’m so glad I found them the food quality is better and there delivery times are also way better. I will be making them my go to Indian takeaway if they can continue to keep up the great food and service.

Nice food, hardly any oil so tasted much better that most ! Only let down was samosas were poor tasted like frozen supermarket ones. Turka daal was yummy though and got free poppadoms a sides

Probably the worst curry I have ever had. Would be better getting a 99p microwave one out the freezer at lidl. Zero flavour, bland and generally poor. Had a butter chicken and was basically a watered down korma. Garlic naan was cold and bland. Rice was watery. Very very disappointed. Probably the worst 17 pound I’ve ever spent at any takeaway. Period.

The lamb was so lean and tender. Lovely flavours. Would definitely recommend.

You might have been busy, so ok. A rogan is supposed to be quite a flavoursome sauce with a hint of spice. Obviously you were so busy you forgot the spice. First time I've ordered from you but you really need to improve the food.
