Cafe Blue in Harlow

It looks like this place has gone downhill of late, it used to be really nice. I ordered a grill breakfast which arrived with a cremated frankfurter, cremated Bacon and a greasy burger camouflaged with loads of greasy chips. It cost nearly £12 cash. All I can say is that it is amazing what you will eat when you are hungry but certainly won't be going there again anytime soon.

Always accommodate my orders. Good food and plenty of it! I'd prefer steak cut chips to French fries.

i had a stamps discount of £10.48 but could not get it taken off and yet again some of the meat was black and i had to pay full price as i couldnt use my discount it wouldnt accept it to take it off bill

Flatbreads are delicious and freshly made would recommend

The Lamb was BLACK and not able to eat it as it was so hard so whole meal was ruined

Not been here for maybe 5 years. Looks like a totally different place now. Really nicely decorated and feels way more spacious than I remember. Great value menu with very good portion sizes. I had the healthy breakfast and at only £9 was very reasonable. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food. It's cash only so beautiful aware of this before going. The co-op 3 doors up does have a cash machine tho. Will definitely be back

Was most terrible time… driver delivered to wrong address.. I see him coming shout he is in wrong address.. he really engorged me sayng and Caffe staff was not helpful at all saying I have to go and pick my order from neighbors .. with my bad back😡

never arrived! so someone else got too enjoy our food! after many emails and complaints just eat did authorise me a refund.

Had Full English breakfast, added mushrooms, black pudding and toast. Very nicely cooked, menu is on thier website, meals all day are great value for money.

Good place on old Harlow high street, good quality quick bite cafe.cash payment is only option. Good for BF , brunch, lunch, easy on pocket.

Generous people of Harlow… grabbed a coffee from here on my way to the airport, and didn’t realise it was cash only until I went to pay. I’m from Australia & only here for a few days so I didn’t bother with cash - they gave it to me for free! The guy behind me even offered to pay….. Great town, great place, please reward them for their graciousness by paying them a visit :)

Ordered Cappuccino, if you don’t want any caramel, you have to take the box no thanks or it won’t let you move on. Girl thought the word no thanks meant I didn’t want the coffee!!! She charged me for it anyway. Only actually made this order because I was desperate for one of these types of coffees that I cannot go out and get myself on, fortunately. Very soggy toast as eggs were placed on top of them, rather than separate in transit. shame eggs were lovely

Busy vibrant place. Good value food

Recently ate at Cafe Blue and an enjoyable experience was had, served by warm and friendly staff in clean and comfortable surroundings. All our food dishes were served up quickly and if you are looking for a breakfast there is a wide variety on offer all at surprisingly reasonable prices, you won't break the bank here but be aware it is currently a cash only establishment. Plenty of free parking close by for up to one hour.

Always good quality food and reliable delivery. Everything is a matter of taste but I love the roast lamb dinner and the build your own breakfast is top notch. Not a fan of the desert pies, but as I said, matter of taste. We both have delivery and visit the cafe if in the area. Have eaten there for years and hopefully will continue to do so. Recommended to family and friends and they love it also.

Food was cold and delivery driver had the food on his passenger seat. No use of thermal bag whatsoever

Nice burger shame about the chips.. and my salad for later was in the same bag as my hot burger and chips. Not impressed, won't order again

Stopped here for breakfast on our way from the airport and we’re not disappointed - amazing breakfast at a reasonable price. Please note, however, they don’t take cards so have some cash with you.

I have had food from here many time and for most part it’s good. But not this time found bone and hurt my tooth.

Not a bad cafe but almost getting to expensive now £11.70 for a breakfast cheaper and similar quality in many other cafes in the town now.

28th October 2023 Out with my girls after a long walk. First time for them. Staff were great food was great toilets clean. Azra whe served us was a lovely polite young lady. (Hopefully spelt her name right).

We stumbled upon this place when passing through. The restaurant is really nice and offers a lot of dishes. You can see that they really payed attention to the inetrior (walls, decoration, etc), so it is a pity that the tables and orange chairs do not match with this 'vibe' that the restaurant potentially has.

Great Staff, beautiful food. Their refurbishment was fantastic. Don't go anywhere else.

Not happy as it’s not the right bread for panini and it’s Rock hard

sat down waited 15 minutes to be served had to get up and ask to be served then ordered sat and waited for food for a good 20 minutes and they forgot one of the meals then had to wait another 10 minutes for the meal and the food was cold

Extremely dry chips and very salty omelette. Wouldn’t go back. Yea served cold too.

I believe the girl serving me and my mum was called lexi , she was so lovely. Had a lovely chat with her and she was very polite. I’ve been to this cafe before and the food is always 10/10.

Driver couldn't find us, drove around for half hour looking for us, food is cold. I want a full refund!
