The best restaurants in Market Forest Heath East of England

I’ve given them many chances, but today confirmed that I shall never go to Crumbs again. Customer service was appalling. Our group was made to feel unwelcome, staff were reluctant to accommodate us, and refused to clear a table that was being used to decorate their front window so we could sit down and enjoy our coffee. Upon hearing us moan about the lack of customer care, a couple passing us in the street, agreed with us, saying how rude the staff are. I think whoever owns this cafe needs to arrange some training. It’s not the first time we’ve had the same treatment, but today was the last straw.

Very pleased I tried here based on other reviews, as visiting due to working in the area. I went for the large cod, which was delicious - nice crispy batter and lovely white flakes of fish. Chips were a small portion (hate to see the large chips, as I got loads). These to were very nice and cooked perfectly. I also added a curry sauce, which was very tasty. I must say, the service that I got was second to none - very friendly people who really know how to give great service (top marks guys).

We always stop here on our way to Norfolk. Great place, cheap but good quality and a lovely choice of food and snacks. Toilets OK, great place for a quick stretch of the legs for dogs and humans

Great sushi in a warm atmosphere that is only further enhanced by the excellent service and over the top friendliness of the workers.

We go regularly to the Bird in Hand at Beck Row. We go with different friends. We all love it. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is always good. It’s got a nice warmth about it. There plenty of car parking space. It’s got a lovely atmosphere. There is plenty of seating and is always nice and clean. We all love it.

We came for my birthday lunch last Monday and had a lovely lunch with good food and service. The staff looked after us extremely well

Food was delicious, thoroughly enjoyed it, haven’t visited since Covid, ignore the website as it states they are only doing take aways, they are very much open as a restaurant. I can’t believe we’ve left it so long to go back! We will def visit again. Such good value for money to! Thank you…..

Tried to get delivery. It’s been almost 2 hours and still no food. We called them 30 min ago and they said it would be 20 min and that they had “just received” our order. Don’t waste your time.

Very nice lunch time meal and Very reasonable priced. Staff Very friendly and helpful. Just a shame that the decor looks very tired.

The place was very clean, cooking time was short and the food was delicious. Get the pizza meat feast for sure and try the chicken skewers. Only wish there was more spices but it still good an works out if you have your own spice or don't like a lot on it. On cold nights it's cold there and hot days you are warm while you wait for the food.
