So we decided to take advantage of the Father's Day Paella and Champagne special deal on Groupon and what a great deal it was. Eavesy's plaice has a very chilled vibe almost like just hanging out in your own back garden. The outdoor bar and kitchen are great and it was a pleasure to watch chef Jamie at work cooking up a banging paella whilst the co owner Sarah always made sure your champagne glass was never empty. The children's entertainment zone was amazing with the big screen playing number blocks and other cbeebies classics whilst being supplied with an endless feast of fruit kebabs and rocket lollies. Overall a great experience and will definitely be back

One of the places I kept meaning to try and never did, it is out of the way and easily missed if you don't know where it is. We had dinner in here before a show at the Corn Exchange, I had 3 small plates, 2 off the main menu and 1 off the specials board and my partner had the Katsu curry. There was plenty of food, well presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it.

My first visit today Mother’s Day, I was with my daughter and granddaughter. It is such a quaint place very well set out with a lovely garden although we ate inside. The service was very good and we we served very quickly although it was starting to get busy, the food was excellent in my opinion ( could have done with some parsnips though 😃) and with drinks a very reasonable price and am looking forward to Father’s Day next, definitely a place to return to.

Average food at a VERY expensive price. Went here very recently. Food was good, not the best Indian I've ever had but all decent. Naan bread was a particular highlight. Service was good enough, the actual restaurant was ROASTING, which did put you off a hot curry. My main issue was the pricing, £8 for a bottle of Cobra is daylight robbery. They had a "Chutney charge" of £5 with your poppadom's (also in what world is a poppadom worth over £1??!). I personally have never seen this before. Especially as we got a tiny bowl of each sauce for 4 people, hardly generous on their part. 12.5% service charge already added to the bill is another pet peeve on my part. Always happy to tip and always will, but don't dictate to me your level or service. Wouldn't go again, much better alternatives about. For one drink, a main, rice and side you are looking at about £45 a head :)

Had a lovely Tuesday evening with good friends.....we all enjoyed the fantastic fish & chips special offer. Great value at £8.50 ! Our young waitress was a real star. Disappointing that they do not serve 0.0 Guinness and was out of stock of any other non alcohol beers. The barmaid said they get asked all the time for the 0.0 Guinness. Are management listening?
