Great breakfast i had a set breakfast 😋 Sautéed potatoes 👌🏽 amazing coffee. Highly recommend, can't wait to return.

We hired these guys to do our wedding breakfast. We had a New York theme and wanted to have a relaxed day with nothing too fancy so we decided on pizza. Heard great reviews so went ahead. The weather was beyond awful and the team struggled to cope. I was always worried it would rain and reassured they would set up the tent as close to the marquee as possible so the guests wouldn’t get wet. They couldn’t set up the tent because of the wind, something that hadn’t been considered. Overall they tried hard with the pizzas, cooking them then running them into the marquee but it was a shambles and people waited ages for pizza. In the meantime they ran out of side salads when we were only halfway through serving. I had ordered salads for 80 and was reassured it was enough food. We had 70 guests and still ran out only feed half of them. Embarrassing to say the least. We had to ask our evening caters to start serving early! When I wrote to them after the wedding to say thank you but i was disappointed I was simply told the guests eat too much not leaving enough for others.

Fantastic classic cafe; always delicious food, friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere.

The service in the restaurant was awful I waited around 45 minutes before asking about my meal. When it came there was no apology and it was barely hot enough to eat. I am an obvious walking stick user but I still had to struggle across the dining room to fetch my own cutlery while the waitress chatted nearby.

So gutted to hear this lovely place has closed down. How sad. They were so popular too! The best scotch eggs around & apple strudel as well as the baklava! Where shall we go now?! Thanks for all the happy memories there and the great service too!

This is our local pub and it’s brilliant to see what the new owners are doing. They have completely refurbished it and created a welcoming atmosphere inside and out. Real ale at the pumps and a good range of gins and wine! Food is now being served during the daytime. Breakfast Mon-Sat 9-11 .. FYI they have a fancy coffee machine! Lunch menu Mon -Sat 11-4 Sunday 11-4 they serve a Sunday Roast which is tasty and great portion size! Worth following them on Facebook and Instagram for details of live music and events.

The food is wonderful! On Google Maps it is still listed as Common Ground. Since Melissa took over, it has been called The Cake Shack. The space is cosy but there is outdoor seating for warmer days or you have your dog with you.

My fiancee and I had afternoon tea at Par 3 this afternoon. It was excellent with delicate sandwiches and far too many scones, jam and cream. The price was very reasonable too, just remember to book (at least an hour) as they make things fresh. Brilliant after a round of golf!
