Great friendly staff great atmosphere lovely to drink in with fast service great food and great deals on drinks SPECIAL THANKS to the governor Russ and Anita as well as Callum and Amy for a lovely evening. Can’t thank them enough would 100% recommend to family and friends

Great staff, Kind, friendly and always attentive to customer needs. Amazing atmosphere couldn't fault the pub or the people. Went in last night for a cheeky drink and was served by Amy and Callum who were amazing also got speaking to the governor Russ and Anita who made our night unforgettable. I love to eat and drink in real pub. Spent 3 days in the local area tried a number of different place and this was the best. I like real ale and good food.

Myself and my friends came to this pub to watch the Newcastle v Arsenal game. We were told it’s the best place to watch live sport. We wasn’t disappointed. A great selection of beers. The bar staff that was working were very friendly and helpful. I believe their names were Sarah and Ben. I could not fault them. They found us a table to watch the game on a very busy night. Will definitely be returning to this pub

I've rated the food 3 stars, there was nothing wrong with what was served and I would say it was great for the price we paid, as expected you get what you pay for. Definitely a great option for a cheaper meal

Very cozy atmosphere giving the typical British Pub feeling. Service was great and so was the food. The chicken wings we ordered were awesome and so was the fish & chips. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.

Lovely old Pub on Hemel old town high st. Reasonably priced with a good selection of beers & wines. Didn't eat on this occasion but the menu looked interesting so will try on my next visit. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pub.

Lovely staff. Very busy when we visited, sat in the garden on a very sunny day which was lovely. The place was packed and so order to table took quite a while but the staff were working as quickly as they could. I'd say it was probably quicker to go to the bar and order drinks. Would recommend.

Friendly staff in this charming pub in Hemel's Old Town. The Greene King's menu is the same as any other in the chain with priority on value vs quality but it all served well and perfectly decent.

Quiet pub, perfect for a relaxed afternoon out and watching sport.

Says online opens at 11.30. Went to the door at 11.35 was locked so went to the side door also closed. Noticed a a member of staff sitting down so asked if it was open just shook his head with a smirk on his face. So asked nicely through the window what time would be open he said five minutes. Went back 10 minutes later saw me standing outside but still wouldn’t open. I walked 100 yards down the road to a pub not open until 12 but they let me in as they saw me. As a nice member of staff would. Rude arrogant young lad at this pub needs a lesson in manners.

First time of eating here. I had several requests and Staff were so cheerful and helpful. We felt looked after by all staff. Meal was very much enjoyed by all my family. Staff worked hard. We shall book again soon. Thank you for a lovely Mother’s Day.

New to town so thought I’d see what the pubs were like and it didn’t disappoint was warmly welcomed by the staff Callum and Lara they were very helpful when it came to ordering food and choice of beer would highly recommend and this will definitely become the new local for me

Lovely pub in the centre of the Old Town. The bar staff are second to none, always greeting you with a smile and a laugh. Look out for their events too, the murder mystery evenings in particular are not to be missed.

Visited the Old Bell recently and must say what a tremendous experience we had in this old traditional pub. The food was impeccable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were served by Calum who was friendly and professional and couldn't do enough to accommodate our request. Would highly recommend this venue and will definitely be going back.

The food and the service here are absolutely fantastic. I definitely will be visiting again, but it was a bit of a struggle with a wheelchair I would add, though the wheelchair was a larger than normal size wheelchair

The old bell does a lovely roast dinner. Was made to feel very welcome as a family. Service was brilliant. staff are lovely russ and he's team make it worth coming back to this pub. Highly recommended.
