A lovely breakfast. An extensive menu and plentiful portions of scrumptious food. Service was quick and good. I’d recommend K’s .

Great food at reasonable prices. Home made classics all available. Super selection of sandwiches and drinks. I have lived in Bovingdon since 2004 and can’t believe this was my first visit. I shall return, Thanks, Andy.

With a loyal local clientele K’s cafe is a key part of the Bovingdon scene on the high street. I live a few miles away but used to grab lunch on the way to visit clients on the area. Always friendly, a sunny south facing terrace for when the weather is fine & cosy inside when needed.

Always friendly staff - nice coffees and great choice of hot food and sandwiches. Staff are always chatty and have been an oasis in the recent lock down - serving all the locals and all the builders - Excellent

Good cafe to stop in at for lunch. Always very clean and the staff are friendly. Not the cheapest cafe but the ingredients and selection seem better than your average greasy spoon

As I am only about 10 mins walk away from here when I am ready for a good hearty breakfast or even a cuppa and a piece of cake this is the first place I come! The atmosphere is like having breakfast with good friends, always a warm welcome excellent service and good food. This cafe is where most bovingdonians ( not a word) will pass through at some time the local meeting place what could be nicer. The menu offers a huge range of different things and if you fancy a milkshake then they are on offer as well. Next time you come this way I would definitely recommend a visit.

We've moved house but still visit regularly because it's the best cafe around. The staff are friendly and they take pride in recognising familiar faces and remembering your favourite order.

Great little cafe, always friendly and the food is great. They only take cash so come prepared. We have eaten there several times and never leave without a Latte, these along with the milkshakes make the meal complete.

My Wife and I went to this restaurant for lunch. My Wife order one of the specials, as shown on one of the chalk boards: "Moussaka, chips and salad + a cup of tea or coffee". I think the price was £7. Both of our meals were flavoursome and my Wife's portion was more than she could eat. At the end of the meal I went to pay. A gentleman asked what we'd had and I said "Moussaka, piita bread meal and a coffee". At which point the lady (manager /owner?) , who had her back to me, chipped in "AND A TEA". I merely pointed out to her, her own message on the chalk boards: "Moussaka, chips and salad + a cup of tea or coffee £7. My message to the owner / manager is don't question / insult my integrity over the price of a cup of tea (£1).

Go here for a great takeaway breakfast at weekends. Service is always with a smile and the wait isn't too long even when the place is full to the rafters.

I have just take over as manager of the pharmacy next door. I am delighted that there there is somewhere to get decent food in this little village. I been in most days for a cake or panini or burger for lunch. The breakfast was great not greasy and tasty. Quickly prepared with good service. I will have to work my way through the menu.

Me apareció en el desayuno en la de improviso. Este café tiene un menú grande y variado, claramente (y razonable) con muchas opciones de comida de precio fijo. Fui uno de los desayunos de los 'inglés' y no me decepcionó. No cuchara grasienta, este. El tocino fresco y no graso. El huevo perfecto y el hash browns (tres de ellos) en el exterior y fresco suave por dentro. Genial. El café en sí es limpio, sin encimeras de mesa pegajosa que vi. Personal y que creo que debe de haber sido el dueño, muy amable. Un montón de gente que también son clientes habituales. Gran Café sin pretensiones.

Aparecimos por el desayuno y era promedio, no diría que vale la pena visitar. La camarera no hablaba inglés, así que fue difícil y la calidad de los ingredientes era normal. Bastante decepcionados honesto y no la intención de regresar para el desayuno.

This is a clean family run traditional café come coffee shop I have eaten in many times for brunch and will continue to do so. Its always clean and tidy, the staff are always friendly the menu offer something for most taste from a Full Monty Fry Up to a tasty Salad, burgers, panini, lasagne, coffee and pastries, fresh baguettes and sandwiches, all reasonably priced and good size portions. Freshly sandwiches and baguettes, always made to order, are a lot better than the pre-packed mass produced crud sold in other local shops and surprisingly similar in price. Can get a little busy at peak times although I suppose that's a sign its a good café.

Although small and basic this place more than makes up for it by way of good quality food at great prices. The menu is fairly extensive with a good range of breakfast options and sandwiches and jacket potatoes plus a range of snacks and meals. The prices were very reasonable and the waiting staff very friendly. Definitely worth a visit

Just the job really. Nice staff. Good cafe grub. Mushrooms and a fried egg on toast. Burger and a bucket of hot freshly cooked fries. Cherry pie and cream. Change from 20 quid. Not Michelin star but will be back.

Generous portions, good food, friendly staff, lovely sidewalk cafe style outdoor eating area. What's not to love? I come here when we work at the nearby airfield. Delightful!

Went here for breakfast with two family members.The food was very good and served in generous portions the service was very good,the young lady who I believe was Eastern European was polite and courteous and helpful.Will go again when in area.
