What a lovely place to come across after a day's walking! Good local cakes and excellent coffee. The friendliest staff I e come across for a long time. I noticed a previous review criticised the cafes bathroom. I have to say how refreshing it was to find a shop/cafe who allows the use of the facilities even to non customers.

Lovely place but a shame it’s become too popular. Not just locals either. Sat at the table realised I was right by the loo. Group of walkers (approx 15) all came in to make use of ‘facilities’. Maybe a Good idea to put the toilet in an outbuilding. Not very well designed to be right in the eating/drinking space. It was a bit unpleasant as the over use ‘drifted’ around the cafe. Service slow but run by volunteers who all seemed to love a friendly chat and enjoyed being there.

Called in for breakfast and to stock up on supplies for a day walking the Ridgeway path. Freshly cooked bacon rolls were excellent, as was the coffee. We bought various filled rolls to take with us for lunch and they were good too. Best of all, the staff were lovely and there was a great vibe about the place. If I lived in the area I'd be in here every week!

My first visit to this lovely little village gem, situated by the recreation ground with large children’s play area and ample car park. There is plentiful seating inside and out, and just as well on a Sunday as it was very popular with the cyclists. The building is modern and laid out very well, with a nice clean toilet available for customers. We had two nice cappuccinos and a toasted tea cake each. Reasonably priced and delivered to our table within a few minutes of ordering. The staff were very friendly and organised. There was a constant flow of shop and cafe customers, yet it was great to see how on the ball they were with clearing tables after customers left. A real asset to Wigginton, and to people like us walking (or cycling) in the area.

There hasn't been a shop in the village for a long time, 20 years I believe, and the opening of that little shop/café is a blessing. You just need to know that it is a convenience store, so you may not find all the spices for your curry!

It is refreshing beyond words to find a place like this still in merry old England. It is the very opposite of Costcutters ! I even noticed a great selection of wines that would appeal to the specialist wine lover. Just fantastic - must come to Wiggington village more often. Well done ladies - I love it . I'll be back .

Everyone involved in setting up this shop/cafe should be so proud. It's a pleasure to walk into the shop. The staff are friendly, it's well stocked and there's an interesting selection of goods for sale. I took a friend here for lunch this week and ended up staying for most of the afternoon. I had some perfectly cooked fishcakes, she had the tasty soup. The only downside was the cakes. There were so many to choose from and they all looked so delicious, it was hard to choose one! The coffee was excellent. Would highly recommend a visit.

This is a new business. I fancied breakfast there so asked on FB if they served breakfast one evening. Within 1 hour they replied, only bacon baps. Fair enough. I would have liked a bigger choice but they told me straight. We went and had bacon baps plus tea & coffee. Nice selection of cakes, good parking, excellent kiddies playground, very dog friendly with nice outside tables in the good weather. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. A good collection of local produce in the shop, I checked the postcodes, including Campfire gin. Clean & welcoming. As I said, I would have liked a bigger breakfast menu, a few on toast options maybe, but cooking facilities are limited and this is a local community project. I will be happy to visit again. If they can expand the café offerings I think they would benefit.

Great new community venture, simple and with smallish but good range of quality produce to buy and take away such as flowers, bread, groceries and to eat in. Yummy cakes some community- baked. As far as I could see products were ‘green’ and health aware. A very high proportion are locally sourced. Very friendly staff (paid, and, the majority, local volunteers) all keen to make a go of this community facility as there was no real centre to Wiggington before. Great for walking and dog walking and having a coffee after. And has recreational facilities for kids so you can chat, eat and keep an eye on the kids at the same time. Good parking. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The quality of the bread was great and the other items in the breakfast roll look good thus far but my wife specifically ordered this as it said “crispy bacon” and it was anything but. So now I’m stood in my kitchen as she re-cooks something we’ve just paid to have cooked. A bit frustrating to say the least.
